Edge E530 and double external monitor - possible?

I can't get two external monitors to work.

I have two dell monitors and connected my E530 via VGA to a.

I just bought another and it connected via HDMI - DVI Cable.   I can't believe the other to extend in the control panel of Windows 7.

The E530 drive only 1 external monitor?

Any advice?

Thank you

Well, he can drive 1 external monitor if your internal monitor is turned on. If you need to both player + 1 internal monitor monitors.

You would need a Lenovo ThinkPad USB 3.0 docking station, which is capable of driving more than 2 monitors + 2 which you can control with the E530.

Display two different windows on external and internal monitors at the same time?

    Yes, you can.

When you connect an external monitor, its pixels are added to the screen integrated to create an extended desktop. If you get a double built-in, just disable fill video. The pane organize you allows to place each tiny in the same way screen icons, they are arranged on your bench, and then the mouse moves correctly on the boundary between displays, and you can drag and drop Windows where you want.

  • Tecra M2: No. 1400 x 1050 resolution graphics and an external monitor

    Hello.
I use a Tecra M2, with GeForce FXGo5200, Win XP (patched), latest graphic driver 4.6.4.4.
    Problem:
There is no possibility to standard resolution 1400 x 1050 to the external monitor.

1600 x 1200 (and higher), 1280 x 1024 and many others are available in a long list, but the one I need for the Samsung 203 b is missing - even if "no longer view the resolutions not taken in charge" in the monitor display properties is disabled.
According to the manual of T2, 1400 x 1050 is supported.

Tested with 1600 x 1200 on a different monitor and it works perfectly.
Interesting: If I uninstall the graphics driver, I can go to 1400 x 1050, so from a technical point of view, it should work.

Work without graphics driver is no alternative.
If anyone has had this problem or knows how to force the pilot to switch to 1400 x 1050?
    Thank you very much!

    You re right.
Supported by this resolution, but it seems that this resolution was not in the graphics card drivers.
I put t know why the factory doesn't graphics driver includes some resolutions to this software but if it s are not so I guess there's nothing to see. :(

  • Satellite A500 and use external monitor

    Hello

I bought recently (yesterday) a Toshiba Satellite A500.

I am using an external monitor AND the laptop screen. At this point, the two screens are working well but have the same images/windows.

I want to do is have each screen show another window/program running and being able to drag and drop etc seamlessly between screens.

When I bought the laptop, I asked about this and was informed that Windows would recognize the second monitor and would encourage me to choose from a list of display options, however it is not happened.

    Can you help me?

    Kind regards

What you need is the parameters of good monitors. So what you have now is the clone mode and you need to enlarge the bureau. I put t know precise adjustments on this model of laptop, but enter the screen resolution settings and check if there is possibility to enlarge the bureau. If not, t go into the advanced settings and check if you can find it here.

I Don t monitor external and impossible to check it for you, but I m you will find.

  • X 201 and an external monitor for dual display config.

    Dear all,

I use a 201 X in conjunction with an external TFT display in extended desktop configuration. The X 201 screen is used as a main. My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.

There is a problem that was so irritating and I was unable to find a solution. The problem is that when running in this double configuration monitor, the desktop icons move if I place the mouse pointer close to the edges of the screen. The move off the screen in some cases such as only a few of them are still visible. This will not occur when you use only the X 201 panel without a connected external display. I know that this is no longer a problem of Windows 7 but I was wondering if anyone else with this configuration has noticed this rather strange and irritating behavior.

I've had the same problems for a few months now on my x200s.

I have just finally resolved by disabling the option "Enable automatic scrolling" in the view tab in the advanced settings of the display screen.

I don't know if it's the same as your option "animate controls and elements inside windows' well or if it is two different things.

  • I want to get caught in charge double external monitor for my MBP with Win7 on Fusion, what should I buy?

Forgive me if this is clear somewhere in the communities.  I have indeed searched it in addition to Google and I can't find a clear answer.

I have a 15 "MacBook Pro (aluminum Unibody 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo w / 4 GB RAM with backlit keyboard black) running VMware Fusion 3.1 and Windows 7 x 64 as a guest in Unity Mode operating system.  I have two screens beautiful external LCD on my desk.  I want to be able to run both of them with this software/hardware configuration.  To do this, I bought a USB to DVI DisplayLink solution by Diamond (as the MBP had only a single mini-DisplayPort port) in order to be able to control the 2nd external monitor.

I noticed that when I added the USB to DVI for mixing with the latest DisplayLink drivers (it is the time where I was running VMware Fusion 3.0), it works, but not very reliable and it would break my Win7 x 64 VM or cause other weird problems too much.  I have had no other problems with this configuration in addition to VMware fusion.  As long as I wasn't trying to run a virtual machine with the merger, the USB to DVI external worked very well.   However, given the choice to have a 2nd external monitor or VM support, I had no other choice than to loop and choose VMware on the adapter.  Well, I took it on the mixture so I went back to the adapter.

I got the notice that VMware Fusion 3.1 is available with tons of bugs and it whet my appetite again for the glory of two external monitors, so I upgraded to it yesterday.

Is someone can you please tell me exactly what I need to buy to get the reliable support of two external monitors in this environment?

And please don't say no double or Triple head to go by Matrox.  I don't mean for this set of compromise.

Besides solutions Matrox, my only choice seems to be somehow supporting this additional monitor via Ethernet, Firewire or USB.  I want to know what are sanctioned for this solutions are supported by VMware (i.e. you tell me what to buy...) I'll buy it... and it works... works very well).

    Thanks a bunch,

    Ted...

Almost all laptops, dual support external monitor and are VERY easy to configure.

I support Mac and PC systems.  It's a complete joke that anyone would try to convince me that Mac has better bi-ecrans support.

To the extent where what is the best solution for businesses.  The need to install a virtual Mac on a PC machine was never even considered because it is not necessary in the world of business.  I can't say that on Mac.

I'm the guy who went to take care of both in a business environment.  Your brilliant mac sounds really cool, but it is a major pain in my butt and should be confined to a domestic environment.

Screwed as far as home users, my Mac friends never call me on the East of their computer from viruses.  I like this very well on Mac at home.  But which probably has more to do with the fact that it is not profitable to write a virus for the Mac platform.

  • Windows jump out of the screen and an external monitor

I have an external monitor connected to my MacBook Air.  When I turn off the external monitor (MacBook cover is already closed at that time) and return hours later to turn on the monitor, I find most of my windows have been dispersed (jumped) off the screen.  It occurs on multiple applications: terminal, iMail, browser Chrome, Preview, etc...  I usually find the window peeking out of the side of the screen - a small shard of window - and I have to drag it to the center of the screen.  I have to do for almost all windows (again not all windows to do this).  Its very annoying.  Any ideas on what is the cause?

I am running v10.11.1 El Capitan (B 15, 42) on MacBook Air (13 inch, mid 2013).  External monitor is Dell.

I forgot to mention.  It happens all of a sudden... eventually after the upgrade to El Capitan?  (but I am not sure).

He used to do this permanently on Yosemite.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook Gaming -: HP Pavilion Notebook Gaming - 15-ak010nr (ENERGY STAR), overheating, and an external monitor?

I was curious office depot on this desktop computer and I was told the oveheats cell phone when an external monitor is hooked up to it and I was wondering why there is a vga first port if that's the question

    Hello

There are few things that I would like to say:

    1. the machine doesn't have a VGA port. There

    • 2 superSpeed USB 3.0
    • 1 universal serial (USB) 2.0 bus
    1 HDMI
    • 1 RJ-45 (LAN)
    • 1 plug headphone-out/microphone-in the drop-down list

The HDMI port is to connect to an external monitor pre BIGfor you to enjoy games if you wish.

2 right, I connect to external monitors almost all of my laptops.

Play games on your laptop can still cause "overheating", anything.

    Kind regards.

  • G560 - maximum resolution and an external monitor?

    Hello

I just bought a G560, and I use it with an external monitor which can range from 1200 x 1400.

I don't seem to be able to get the vertical resolution higher than 768... I'm in 1024 x 768 at the moment. 1366 x 768 is the highest mode listed, but as long as my monitor is 5 x 4 and not widescreen, everything seems squashed in this mode.

I used to have a R51, and it served me well for 7 years. This could go to 1200 x 1400, so I guess with the advancements in technology, my new laptop computer box too.

    What Miss me?

    Thank you.

I knew that this laptop could do!

After hours of violin, I have to go to 1600 x 1200.

The trick was to do a right-click on the desktop, graphics options, output to monitor.

It was initially set to "clone screens" instead of "monitor". My LCD2170NX 21 "display is also correctly detected, so I can only see the modes that it can display. See below:

  • X 220 and an external monitor FHD?

    Hello

I really like x 220, but also heard that the D - sub port can give a good display quality on large screens, say 1080 p. It is said that the sub - D cannot provide enough bandwidth or something like that.   1366 * 768 being the only option, I'll probably need an external monitor to deal with my work (not graphic-heavy tho, so integrated map is correct, and FHD is preferred for the films ).  Could someone here check it out?  If that's true, I might go for t420s with display port.

    Thank you

The x 220 has a DisplayPort as well, then why don't you use that?

Extract from the book of Thinkpad (http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/tabook.pdf):

Intel HD Graphics 3000 in processor,
external analog monitor support via VGA DB-15 connector and
    digital monitor support via DisplayPort (supports single-link DVI-D via cable 45J7915);
    supports dual independent display;
    Maximum external resolution: 2560x1600 (DisplayPort)@60Hz;

  • Connection monitor project and an external monitor

    Hello world

Since I have still not found a solution to any video playing in the monitor of my project. However, what I discover is that when my camcorder is always connected to the IEEE 1394 port, playback works fine when on the screen of your camcorder. So for a temporary solution to my problem, I'll be buying an external moniter that I can mount next to my computer and go from there.

However, I am unable to find a monitor that has this IEEE 1394 port for this connection. I can't see how I can connect to the computer using the HDMI or Sata USB ports, but I fear that that will transfer my monitor laptop while on the external screen, which I don't want. I want to only transfer the Windsor project screen in Adobe for the external monitor. Outside the IEEE 1394 connection won't work? (incidentally I don't use HD images)

Also, I'm always on the lookout to get this fixed a problem... Adobe has the absolute worst customer service that I have ever met. I was waiting with them for more than an hour, and then they gave me the link to an article that they said could answer my question, then they hung up and marked my problem as "Detective Conan". The article is totally far from my problem. When I submit an issue online, they just send me links to articles that are also unrelated to my problem...

Anyone out there who is not having problems with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 would do me a big favor if you are referencing just the computer you are using and the type of video graphics card you are using. I will use this information to conduct additional research on this.

2 more quick questions: is there a difference in the graphics driver required for Premiere Pro 1.5 and CS4?

And finally, if I continue to use Premiere Pro 1.5, the project would still be compatible with Adobe Encore CS4?

    Thank you all!

    -Rick

Just connect your camera FireWire on your PC and use the analog out the camera to your external monitor. Set your VCR and you have the display on the external monitor, and you don't need to use the screen of your camera.

I'm guessing the resolution of your screen is significantly different from the main one?
