  Welcome to the forums.

  At the moment there is no way to disable the Facebook contact Sync feature. You will need edit each contact and remove the link Facebook or you can just change the name of the contact so that it displays the name you want.

  Quit the application contacts.

  In the Finder, select go > then go to the folder and paste and click go:

  ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.addressbook.plist

  A Finder window opens at this location and file. Move the com.apple.AddressBook.plist file to the trash. Restart the Contacts and see if that clears the problem. If so, you can empty the trash.

  Apparently available allow was to be done by right-clicking in the pool and enable provisioning on the Provisioning... tab. Not on the status button in the overview of Ddesktop pools.

  My problem appeared when a contact is sent a text about a new mobile phone number to replace an existing number. I already have a number at home, e-mail address and contact facebook linked in their contact information.   When you integrate a Facebook account that all your contacts will be synchronized to your device, you cannot select specific contacts.

  That being said, you can optionally hide your Facebook contacts and don't have Facebook data appear on contacts from another location, such as your e-mail address if you link contacts.

  To hide a set of contacts such as Facebook, open the Contacts application, further down from the top of the screen and tap Settings and then turning off Facebook.
