Embedded Viddler unable to play videos

I've had this problem for some time now and he's finally listening to me enough to post about it. In any case, on Gawker Media sites (specifically Deadspin for this example) embedded Viddler videos show an error message "Video not found". However, if you get the video link and look directly at it works fine. Also if you go to viddler.com and watch any video, they work very well. It seems that something is messed up in the way Firefox handles the integration of videos. Not sure if it is a thing of HTML5, a Gecko thing or what, but it works very well in G0ogle Chrome.

Here is a link to an example of what I'm talking about:
http://Deadspin.com/5833185/ESPN-is-airing-a-TV-commercial-for-Grantland
and if you get the link for the video and get there directly it works fine:
http://CDN.static.Viddler.com/Flash/AS3/full-Publisher.swf?ref= & Key = 8ed093e8
The actual link is:
http://www.Viddler.com/embed/8ed093e8/
but I had to change to
http://www.Viddler.com/player/8ed093e8/
based on the advice of:
http://www.Viddler.com/forums/bugs/7491/

I am running Firefox v7.b1 and I have tried with and without my active modules. My Flash and all other plugins are up to date. I had the same problem with Firefox v6 as well. Please solve this problem. Thank you

For those who do not follow the thread viddler...

I have "fixed" this issue by making a complete unisntall (deleting all of the user settings) and the installation of FF itself. I installed all my addons one by one and it still works (even with adblock on) there must be some setting in: config that we have and which prevents the viddler/vimeo work.

The plugin of the IPC "patches" had no effect on me

Just got tired of waiting for a solution and a facility they own

  • Unable to play video, lack the codec indeo 5

    Indeo 5 removed from XP/Windows.

I'm trying to play videos of when my child was a baby. A few precious memories - although taken with a Webcam.

I am running Windows XP SP 3. Research on the forum here, it seems that the codec has been removed from windows. And unless I pay a company in 20 US dollars more or less, I won't get to see these videos. Sounds like inmate hostage if you ask me!

  • Unable to play videos on my computer, windows flash 10 guard crashing.

I have already presented a post once before and received no help whatever it is, so I'll try one last time.  My computer, I cannot play videos at all.  Not only in browsers (and I've tried three now: Firefox, Chrome and Edge.) but also those personal I saved on my hard drive. In addition, that this problem has got worse, I found Itunes crashing more often.  I can't prove a link, but I tend to believe is there. I used to be able to play youtube at least, but now I can't do it.  This problem has been gradually getting worse and I'm really getting tired on this subject.  I can't use my computer for the things I need to be able to do because of this problem, and I feel as if no one has tried to repair.

My initial dose that he had to do a system restore and it worked for a while, but now my system breaks down right after again.  I can't downgrade to windows 8.1 because I went months downgrade option.  I've been seriously restore my computer to factory settings, but I don't know that it'll fix my problem and it's a lot of hassle to go through a solution that may not even work.  I tried deactivating/activating various plugins in browsers and I turned off hardware acceleration, and I've sent too many incident reports to Firefox.

I'm running a Lenovo Yoga, on 64-bit, Flash 19.0.0.185, currently Firefox 41. If you need more information, please let me know.  I really want to get this resolved so that I can do what I need to.

So, I think, that the video does not play because of the exception of Streaming. But what can cause this exception to appear?
The same video and the code works perfectly on OS 5 and 6 simulators and devices.
Are there other ways to play the video which is the part of the application?
    Help, please!

    Finally found the problem.
I sailed on my VideoScreen in the screen where another active instance of the player (music player) were trying to stop. I added a small timeout until the active instance of the player is stopped before pushing my VideoScreen.

OT:when I try to watch a video with DRM, I get a message that must be upgraded one component of Windows media player...

    Hello

To resolve this issue, reset the DRM Bank on the computer. To do this, follow these steps:
    a. If Windows Media Player 12 is running, quit Windows Media Player 12.
    b. Locate the DRM folder on the hard disk, and then rename the DRM folder in backup DRM.

By default, this folder is located in the following location in Windows 7:

    %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DRM

    c. visit the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://drmlicense.one.Microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp
    d. follow the instructions on the website to update the safety component of Windows Media Player 12. This procedure allows you to obtain new licenses for media content. You can also reset licenses for purchased content so that you can play that content on a computer.

Note On a Windows 7 computer, you must run Internet Explorer as an administrator before update you the safety component of Windows Media Player 12. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. click on start and then click all programs.

    2. right click on Internet Explorer and then click Run as administrator.

You know quite well by asking or by downloading a local copy and these hosting or those who created the video by checking with something like gspot.

  • Satellite C50 - A - 15 L: unable to play audio or video via the media player

    Hi all

I have problems with my player functions and media browser suddenly - it seems to have taken place after a "significant recent update" (causes more problems than the patches).

In any case, since this update, I was unable to play video or audio files using the media player or cut and paste all the items when sorting of files.

All very well before, but now when I pointed out and click "cut", the timer of the cuts and the window goes right to the "not responding". Drag and drop works OK, then go back to delete files.

Regarding the multimedia files, double-click one and no response, click 'open' and right, once again, nothing...

    Everyone has experienced similar problems?
    Whether a hotfix or patch?

From there where I bit you have no problem with the laptop but with Microsoft System.

"Hotmail" isn t produced by Toshiba.
If you have problems connecting to the Hotmail account, you must contact Microsoft technical support for help.

By the way: you can always set the system back to the beginning point of time before receiving updates.
Windows 8 creates a point of restoration automatically when Windows updates and other system maintenance events.

Open charm bar (Win key + c), choose the Apps and search for Restore Point. Then click on settings. On the left side, you will see the option called create a restore point.
New window will open. In the System Protection tab, select the system restore.
Clicking next would lead to the next step when you restore the computer to the State it was before the selected event (windows update).
