Smartphones blackBerry how to open and view Word and Excel files?
I registered the "Word to Go" and the sheet to Go"applications. However, when I try to open an excel since an attachment file, a message appears indicating that I can't view the attachment on my device type. I tried saving the file under the name of previous versions of excel with no luck.
Same problem when I try to export files to blackberry. An error message indicates the device can carry only the file but not open or read it.
Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you!
Thanks for the reply of John. I rebooted and no it did not work. The files do not seem to be recognized by the phone as those I send an email to the phone have a "?" on them. However, if I open word or excel (to go) on the device, the application looks for files, but can't find even if I put some on the phone but the USB.
Any other suggestions please? Thanks again.

Buy a laptop computer with already installed microsoft 18 months ago. Use the activation key, thought everything was ok but recentley I was getting messages error and cannot find the original activation key. Bought a new 'family pack' office home and student 2010 pack (with disk). Loaded package but error message came back tellingme to remove all microsoft and re - load. Followed by the present instruction, now when I open MS word (or Excel etc) I get the error msg ' microsoft office home & student 2010 can not verify the license for this product. " You will need to repair the office program by using the control panel.
Can someone explain how I can do this?

HP deskjet 3630: HP Deskjet 3630 works only with MS word or excel
I bought an HP deskjet printer 3630 recently, I followed the online instructions to download the latest drivers. It can print stuff with chrome, but not with word, excel and ppt. I connected the USB printer. There is no error message. I see the print job appears in the print queue, but disappear almost instantly and no action on the printer. I uninstalled the driver that several times and it still don't work. I use Windows 10. pls someone help

I came across your post about the problems you're having with printing from Word or Excel, to your 3630 Deskjet and wanted to reach out with my suggestions. A uninstall and reinstall would have fixed all the problems with the HP driver and software. Personally, I would say that the problem is probably with the computer or Microsoft Office.
You can also try running the print and Scan Doctor for Windows to help troubleshoot printer problems
Other suggestions I'd personally for you, would be to try to disable the firewall you have running and try to print again.
Clean boot your system and try to print again: How to perform a boot in Windows
Run a scan of the System File Checker to help repair the registry files corrupted: file system check (SFC) analysis and repair system files & DISM to fix things SFC cannot
If all else fails, try posting this question on the Microsoft's community of Support forums.

I have created a merge document and mail merge in word using an excel sheet spread as a data source. Initially, no sign of £ showed in the document among other formatting problems. I have (finally) found help explaining that I should use MS Excel via a DDE data sheets - I tried this but it seems to corrupt the data so that the column that contains say '1 names' contains "price data", "address" line contains the data of 'comments', making the e-mail merge nonsense.
If you use an alternative data source is CBO or something all NFL results (which wasn't shown on the worksheet) appear in the mail merge '0' both are unacceptable.
Surely I'm not the only person to meet these challenges is the software never tested before being sold where is the help manual, I tried to use the online help but will not accept my product key. All solutions provide the most basic assistance but my documents are fairly complex something computers should be good. I lost most of today on this. Sometimes I think it would be faster to type these longhand things than to use a Microsoft product.

The new update is already a PITA. I paid to be able to convert PDFs to Excel or MS Word and allows it to be on the right side of the pdf document. The only way I found was to go to the Adobe online. There must be a way faster and more convenient to convert. Then, I use a lot the zooming in and out tool. How do we get this tool on the Ribbon? With the upgrade, I have to go to the view tab, and then click the zoom tool. I found a dynamic zoom and it's good, but I wish the zoom on the Ribbon for quick access.

Could have closed the tool on the right side pane. Please press (SHIFT + F4) to get that back.
In addition, you can right click on the toolbar to add zoom tools there.

I have a user using Acrobat 10. It has been installed two weeks ago and had no problems at the start. Today, she said that when she tried to convert several word and excel docs by selecting and right-click on it to select convert/combine PDF format, pages randomly in the finished PDF file have a blue background. I did some research online and you can't find any information on this problem. Can anyone here shed some light on this subject and maybe point me in the direction of a solution? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

So something I didn't consider was that it could be a setting in office documents. The reason why I do not consider this was cause we tested several docs and had similar results each time. I returned and examined this possibility and found a setting in word that was causing this problem. Although the word doc showed no color page when opened in word, if I went to the "Page Layout"-> 'Color of Page', a shade of blue was chosen. By selecting "no color", then convert / combining documentation in PDF format, we have achieved the desired result. Thanks again for your response!

If you have Office 365, the simplest method is through OneDrive and your Office 365 subscription includes the free storage for OneDrive (currently from 1 TB to a personal account).
On your desktop, save the file on OneDrive (exactly how you do it depends on if you use Mac or Windows and what version of Word/Excel). If you use Microsoft Office for Mac I can give you instructions step by step.
On the iPad, tap Open (in the box on the left) and then press OneDrive and navigate to the file.

You can use Microsoft Office 2008, 2011, and 2016, Pages and numbers, LibreOffice or similar software (not including previous versions of Microsoft Office.) The most recent operating system that supports Microsoft Office 2004 is 10.6.8.

My question previous (25/02/2016 09:44) problems with the HP Solution Center has been resolved today - I can open the program and I can scan.
But now I can not print word and excel files - the paper is completely empty. I can print emails from google, but they are difficult to read.
In Control Panel, devices and printers, I have until now had a HP printer: HP0BAC44 (HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m) but now I also have the printer: HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m (Standard). Who would have something to do with the problem? I tried printing from two of them, but the result is the same as mentioned above.
