End of the session

How could I have shared files, whiteboard and other shared data deleted when the session ends? At present when new guests enter a room they see also data from the previous guests who were all connected on the eve.

I found the answer.

I used the example of file upload. I added nodeConfig.userDependentItems = true; for when it creates a new group. I also put the nodeConfig.sessionDependentItems = true;

  • TMS 14.4 not send notice of end of the session for all Participants (ends)

    Greetings,

I saw an old post and I thought that some clients may have a similar problem

    https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11450416/TMS-not-sending-Conference-ending-notification-TP-rooms#comment-10118276

In our environment, TMS 14.4 will send notifications which will end the session master endpoint in a call.  It can receive one or more times.  Other endpoints can receive the message once or several times.  Older end points like the series MX (Gen1 or Gen2), or Jabber will not receive notifications.

In general, it is configurable in the TMS regarding when notifications are sent.  But we found that the messages are sent in Control Panel (display) or the monitor.  If the control panel is a Cisco model, then the message is sent to the control panel.  If the model is non-Cisco (Crestron) then the message is sent to the monitor.

You can imagine the reaction of the participants when the call ends.  They do not see the control panel for the notifications, but interaction with the call and the on-screen display.

I thought that TMS may be able to use the "send the message to the system' in the browser part.  Is there an API, I can call and target the script sending of messages to endpoints?

    Thank you.

TMS usually only send end endpoints conference notifications are managed by TMS, sort of endpoints Jabber like will not work with it without worrying.  Even in this case, the message get sent to one that is configured as the master of video conference.  What you see on the subject where the message is correct, and is by design.  I don't think that there is a way to display on the monitor, if a touch panel of Cisco is used.

Have you looked at the following setting in TMS: Configuration > conference settings > show video warnings on the Conference ending?

From 14.3 TMS, you can set it to send notifications to end conference to all the endpoints via the MCU or telepresence Server that hosts the Conference.  Given that it would send Conference ending notifications by the main video track, everyone would be able to see any endpoint is, and they use a Cisco touchscreen as well.  See the MSDS 14.3 release notes, middle of the pg 3 for more information.

  • Find the end of the session of the invocation

    Hello world

I wonder if its possible to know when doing a "session of invocation" ends?

    For example:

The application calls an editor, the user edit the photo using the image editor, and when the user saves the image, the image editor closes. Is it possible to know when the user saves the image?

    Thank you

As far as I know, this is only possible if you use an invocation of card...

    http://developer.BlackBerry.com/native/documentation/Cascades/device_platform/invocation/card_invoca...

And even then it seems to be a signal in option (CardFinished) and so unless published, supported by this app (look at the music player) then best not to exercise.

If it is to do with the transfer of information between two applications you control, then of course you can implement an invocation that calls to the called party.

I have access to firefox. Previously the ikon would remain open and my firefox home page appears after

  • How to end the session of a web application?

    For the experienced:

I use JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 and have a question about the end of the session to a web application.

First of all, I would like to clarify that the session I'm talking about is the session that can be seen in the web.xml file, for example,
        <session-config>
            <session-timeout>35</session-timeout>
        </session-config>
If I understand correctly, if there is no user activity, its session ends in 35 minutes.

    My questions are:

    1. If in the application I don't put the code anywhere to end the session and simply say to the user to close the browser, I tell myself that the session will persist on the server until it times out 35 minutes later. Is this correct?

    2. If this interpretation is correct, is there a way for the application to get this session object and terminate when the user clicks on a button (a button ' Quit') explicitly? I find that without end of the session, after the user has clicked on the "Quit" button he can still return to the session of the application by clicking the browser ' go back a page ' button. That is not desirable. Once the user clicks on the button leave, it may be that the user should not be able to come back in this new. This is why I'm looking for a way to explicitly end the session.

    3. the application also interacts with the Oracle database server. If in the application there is no code explicitly put an end to the session of the application, the user login on the database server also will persist until the application session expires 35 minutes later?

Thank you very much for your help!

Assuming you are using ADF business components - don't. Database sessions are, by default, not assigned to a single user (nor is an instance of the application module). Good read on AM pooling in the docs about the gory details. If you are not using ADF business components - the answer could, of course, be different.

  • ask me if I want to save the tabs at the end of a session and therefore the tabs are lost

I'm working on a Mac. With version 3.6 of firefox when I type "quit firefox" a window asking if I wanted to save my tabs. By clicking on "save session" saved my tabs open for the next session. With version 4.0.1 of firefox, no window opens, and the session ends. The next session starts with only my open home page. How can I save my tabs open in this version?

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.

You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.

There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.

    Another possibility is to use:

    • Firefox > Preferences > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

Make sure that you do not remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the browsing history when you close Firefox.

I saw 4.5 upwards and running, although I ran into a problem with connectivity from outside the network.

I the installation of server Connection View and forwarded ports 80 and 443 to view connect server inside - it's a temporary facility until we run all over SSL VPN.

I can reach the server, download the client, connect, but when he tries to establish the session on the desktop, it disconnects.  Newspapers the for the user login and logoff, as a the packet capture poster that my outside client ends the SSL connection after trying to connect.  This behavior is the same with the RDP PCoIP protocols.

My question is: view you must install a server security for external connections, am I missing a port for PCoIP / RDP, or something in the roads is bad?

I guess it depends on how if you use direct connect to this broker for connections.  If you use directly connect you must put at the disposal of the 3389 of VDI machines to the customer outside. If you are tunneling by this broker for connections, then it should work except PCOIP.   If I'm not mistaken PCOIP uses the direct connect method constantly.

  • How to automatically restore the session after a crash/update / without asking me if I want to restore it?

Hello, there are times that my Firefox crashes (well, it happens to all of us who use it to some extent) or updates asking to restart. I would like to know if there is an option that allows you to restore the previous session automatically without asking me even. It would be very useful for reasons. I had this kind of problem a couple of times ending me be upset. Sometimes I misclicked and lost all my important tabs. Other times my firefox has crashed/shifted on after reboot and guess what sound restart still has not even asking me if I wanted to restore my session crashed.

    Thank you in advance.

Cesarius Hi, I think I understand, but I have not explained completely.

The browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes preference is to avoid an infinite loop. The default value 1 means an attempt to restore the session automatically once and if it fails (for example, it crashes before it can finish to restore), then display the "embarrassing". You could try to increase the value of 2 or 3 and see if it works on the second or third time. If you still see the screen "This is awkward" after a crash, Firefox still does not make a failback.

You can also check if there is a file user.js in your profile folder. A user.js file is a file of optional parameters that Firefox reads at startup and uses to override the settings saved in your previous session. Unless you create a user.js file yourself, you can usually just remove it. This article includes a section on the hunt for a possible user.js file: How to fix preferences that will not save.

Note: by default, Windows hides the .js file extension. Precise work with file names, I suggest setting windows to show all file extensions. This article has the steps: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

  • 'Open with' pop up at startup and during the session asking what file to open CHKUPD with. CHKUPD has no extension. Search does not find it.

My problem is similar to the question asked by EamonnO.  Start a 'open with' screen opens asking what file to open chkupd with.  I think that hit "Cancel" would put an end to the action.  He appears periodically during my session on the computer or watching a movie.  I don't find the file using search.  I don't think that this means Daemon Tools because I never downloaded the program.  Some recent downloads include "Free File Viewer" and "Search for free Extension".  I have Vipre AV and System Mechanic running on my computer.  The situation may be harmless, but it is sure agrivating.  Thanks for any help you offer.  George

    Hello

I had the same problem and there to remedy I just open the control panel and open then "Add / Remove programs.  The popup is apparently caused by a free File Viewer program.  I removed the program by clicking on the button Delete and the problem disappeared.  The free file viewer comes with a conversion program free .mp3 and seems to be completely unnecessary (I never needed the viewer of the file and open it with popup that was originally was boring and sometimes even nervewracking.)  If you do not have to uninstall programs of assistance, just the viewer of the file that comes as a free supplement program (problem).

Once again, removal procedure: click on 'start '.
    Click on "Control Panel."
Double click on "Add or remove programs".
Click on "Free File Viewer" in the list of programs
    Click 'delete '.

After this, the 'chkupd' open with popup when it stops appearing.

  • Can I use the session with the presentation variable variable

    Hello

I'm using a method join the variable session or repository with the presentation variable.

I created a variable called 'VarPres' in obiee presentation I created a session with a new block of initialization variable and I made this request

"{Select fullName from employees where idEmp=@{VarPres}.

but when I called the session variable in obiee I got this error

The session variable, NQ_SESSION. S_OBJ, has no definition of value

    Hello

Does not allow a presentation in an init block variable, simply because there is no variable presentation.

In general what you try to do probably will never work because of "timing" and is as a session variable.

A session variable is set once per session, for once he put no exchange of value as the init block is not executed again. So, because of this you already can imagine that there is a problem in your logic, if you want to use a value set by the user in the front end to set the value of a session variable.
