Endpoints of TPS and TCS TX

Hello

I've seen a few threads where TCS and registered CUCM endpoints are discussed, but could not find a definitive answer to this question:

Pouvez meetings Immersive telepresence (TX9000s) Records of TCS 6.x (registered in VCS) hosted on a GST?

What same scenario but meetings scheduled through TMS?

Thanks in advance

JO

To add to what said Wayne - this means that will allow you to save any segment is active at any time (only), speaker rather than all three screens at the same time.  Of course, you get all the audio data.

Did the same thing earlier with TCS + Server TP + CTS-3000 - it worked fine.

One thing I did was to add the CHT manually as an endpoint on the server TP and set available to speaker spent, rather than active presence, so the film appear in the record.

  • Problems with endpoint Windows Audio and Audio service

My PC decided that the copy of Windows 7 was no stay true even if he was.

I had to go through several different solutions to correct this, but by train to try, I tried to use "performance issues" under the control panel > everything on the control panel > performance information and tools > advanced tools.

Identified computer sound problems caused performance problems and proposed to correct. It seems that what he actually did was disable Audio endpoint and audio services.

I tried to reset to automatic in the section of the Task Manager services (and they may be started for this session on the PC so there) but when you restart the computer, they are the two dump again.

Any suggestions on how this can be corrected?

    Hello

Thank you for the update on the issue.

If you receive an error message that the Windows Audio Service is disabled. So firstly, I you suggest to start the service and then try to check the status of your problem. I suggest you try the steps in the below mentioned thread and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

Any solution for "The Audio Service is not running"?

Hope it would help. Keep us updated on the issue and we will be happy to help you further.

  • TMS and TCS Cluster

We had two boxes of telepresence Content Server, as separate in TMS for a while now (TCS01 and TCS02)

Recently, we grouped matches of two.  A day or two after having done this, the TCS02 device appears in TMS with an error "incorrect authentication information.  TCS01 is fine.

Would we still followed the two devices separately in the TMS, or should we now be treated as a single device (via the pole DNS entry)?  Or is there a problem with TCS02 do we do?

    Hi Wayne,

Try the steps below and let me know your comments.

Here we must activate and change the API password in CHT management settings

set a new password TCS (which is used for adding the TCS to the TMS
    Server)
Connect to the web interface of TCS¹s go to

Management > Configuration > Site Settings > API

Ensure that the API is enabled. Choose a new password, and then save it.

The user and the password in the settings of the API is the same user name and password
who to be used when adding the TCS to the TMS

  • Telepresence - administrator password

We have a client that requires us to change administrator passwords each quarter, and we need to change the password for the first time.

I wanted to know if we run into any problems by changing the passwords on the CUCM, VCS VCS Expressway, MSE8000, TPS and TCS.

Are there any traps or order that we follow?

    1. I wanted to make sure that the VCS, CUCM, MSE, and GST will have any issues registering with TMS.

    2. the VCS Cluster will have a problem?

    3. This can affect the OpenDS TMS?

    4. all the problems with TMSXE?  The TMSXE server is managed by another team, and we will not change this administrator login and password.

Here is the list of the versions:

    CUCM - 8.6.2.2000 - 2

    TMS - 13.2

    TMSXE - 3.0.2.0

    VCS - v7.0.2

    VCS Expressway - V7.0.2

    MSE8000 - 2.2 (1.17)

    Telepresence Server - 2.2 (1.54)

    TC - v5.3

    Thank you

    Bryan Darnell

    Hi Bryan,.

    1. once change the admin password on these devices, you can update the TMS with the new password of the device tab connection from each device so that it can access using the new admin password

    2. There should be no effect on the VCS cluster, because each peer can have a different password for the user "admin".

    3. no effect on replication opends, as this is handled by different accounts

    see you soon

  • From bandwidth of endpoints

Is it possible to have all calls between a MCU and TCS use a bandwidth fixed (2 048 kbit/s), but for all calls with the MCU or TCS between other points of endpoints that are not these two devices will use a fixed bandwidth (768 Kbps).  We use of TMS and a VCS in our infrastructure.

    Examples:

    MCU <> TC - 2048 Kbps

    MCU <> end points - 768 Kbps

    TCS <> end points - 768 Kbps

Any help to make possible would be great!  Thank you.

Are you using a VCS? Then check for bandwidth management administrator's guide: links / pipes

Guess who would be the best place.

You can also have aliases of different record with different parameters of bandwidth on the TCS.

Default call pricing on the MCU + define the TCS as the 'End Point' with 2 Mbit/s on the MCU

and/or set a rate of default reminder on endpoints 768kbit/s or something like that.

But I'd go with links / tubes model

  • Remove the video of TCS in the layout when flow on demand through TMS ' record'

    System information:

    TMS v13.2.2

TCS v5.2 (configured as a terminal)

    4510 Codian MCU v4.4

The TCS and the MCU are registered at TMS.  I work on the management of all our calls more centrally by TMS and struggled to integrate the CHT in conferences.  I don't want the black screen of the "registration...". "appears as a participant at the disposal of the participants.  I know these can be configured manually to rule out it, but I want to automate it as much as possible.

On the MCU, aliases are configured to not send the video to the MCU by default; It silently records in the background.  All conferences configured directly on the MCU without the "help" of TMS call out to all the endpoints - including the alias TCS - and only the video settings are visible.  The content is saved properly.

When conferences are planned through TMS, however, the TCS alias is composed in just like before, but it also sends a video feed to the MCU - a black screen with "Recording" on this subject.  I tried to call from the system directory and what makes an "external" call, but both give me the same result.  I guess that's because the MCU and TMS do not share the same phone book.  What is the reason?  When this happens, the MCU is not the ability to cut the flow of the CS during the video content.

Currently, my plan is to have every endpoint called via TMS scheduling and then have my technicians dial to the CS manually after that trial is over.  Automation is my aim, however

    Any help would be great.

    Hello Luke.

You can very easily cut the video and/or audio from the TCS in your conference.  When you create the reservation in MSD and have your MCU added, go into 'Connection settings' and it should be two boxes on the right-hand side where you can trim the video/audio.

Try it and let us know.

  • How to stop the TCS "Record Black Screen" permanently?

    Hello

I have a TC7.3.4 SX80 recorded 10.5 CUCM and integrated AV system, conductor XC4.0 integrated with CUCM using SIP Trunk, telepresence server TS 4.2 (4.23) is used as bridge Chief of Orchestra and TCS 7.0 is integrated with CUCM using SIP Trunk.

I added TCS as attending the Conference model of driver self-composed and active "appear as a recording device' and 'video muted initially' options in avancΘs auto composed of participants. But still, I could see that black record is displayed if the Conference starts.

I have a record configured in AV touch screen button to record video calls from point to point and endpoint hosted calls multisite with TCS, basically if someone presses the record button initiated SX80 endpoint to alias TCS that record the camera or video call. I need to stop recording black screen in this scenario too.

    Thank you best regards &,.

    Nikhil Jayan

I just tested with TCS S7.0 as a participant in a telepresence Server 4.2 and XC4.1 conductor self-composed.  When it is connected through the telepresence server, TCS appears as a red record icon in the upper left corner of the screen, and I do not see the 'Recording' screen that you would if you were connected point-to-point for the CHT.  That said, if you do the special appeal of the SX80 endpoint to the CLD, then Yes, you will see the screen of "Recording" of the CLD and there is no way to remove it, unless the call goes through the telepresence server.

There was several enhancement requests in the past to hide or disable the 'Recording' screen that comes from the CLD, the CSCup47470 and the CSCty83791.  If it's something you like, suggest that contact your provided with the bug ID or account manager.

  • Range of Ports RTP endpoints TC changed after registering with CUCM

    Hello community,

We have SX80 endpoints running TC7.3.2 and registered at CUCM 11.

By default the TC ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP endpoints. After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. In my view, WHAT CUCM change the codec settings.

Based on the http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/codec-c-series/tc7/administration-guide/administering-endpoints-running-tc72-on-ucm1051.pdf guide I couldn't see any setting to do with RTP ports.

This is a problem for us, because on the firewall rules, we have configured and fixed ports for points endpoints use the default go 2326-2487 UDP. Because these endpoints and video infrastructure (servers of telepresence, TCS, VCS) are on different networks separated by firewalls. At present, when recording and join the conference bridge there are no media because ports have been changed. When I change the default port range, there is no problem with the media. I can record and call to the conference bridge hosted by a TP server successfully. And if I hit the button refresh on the web GUI of the codec, 16384 to 32766 changes the settings.

Y at - it a setting that I could check on the side of CUCM?

    Thanks in advance.

«By default the endpoints ports rank 2326-2487 UDP RTP TC.» After registering with CUCM, the range of ports have been changed to 16384 to 32766. "I believe THAT CUCM change the codec settings".

Yes, it's true. Once your video endpoint is configured and registered on the CUCM, the CUCM will be more than just the default settings of your endpoint. It depends on the SIP profile has been used and applied for your endpoint. You need to check that the configuration of the SIP profile of the CUCM applied for your endpoint. In your case if it's SX80, check the SIP for SX80 profile and change the start and stop media ports. It comes to the RTP port range.

    In your case:

    Port of bootable media: 2326

    Stop Media Port: 2487

  • E2000 Wireless and help connect BEFVP41

I have a VPN BEFVP41 router that I use for my home software company and I have several clients who need to access the files on my server... so the VPN endpoint router. And it works very well. However, I would like to connect my laptop, PS3 and DirecTV set-top satellite Internet and bought a wireless router Linksys E2000 for this.

When I followed all the instructions, right out of the box, with all its parameters by default, I had wireless internet without problem, but did not have access to my network. I have live chat and was immediately referred to the helpline to help set up what they called a 'cascading connection '. Well, after almost 4 hours on the phone with them on 2 separate days, I now have no internet OR network connection on my E2000. It of a paperweight and sits right on the desktop. I tried to reset and start from scratch, as if I had just pulled out of the box... No, does not work.

Is it possible to use an E2000 wireless router and connect to the internet through a wired router BEFVP41? If so, how? TIA

    PJO

    1. make sure that the BEF is working properly. I guess that's the address LAN IP 192.168.1.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

    2. it is probably best to reset the E2000 to the factory settings. Press reset for 30 seconds. Make sure that the E2000 is not connected to your network.

    3. wire a single computer to the E2000. Open the web interface at http://192.168.1.1/ on the main Setup page, give the address LAN IP 192.168.1.2 and disable the DHCP server. Save the settings.

    4. unplug the computer. Now one of the ports numbered from the E2000 LAN wire to the BEF. Do not use the internet port of the E2000.

That's all. Now, you use the E2000 as a simple access point and ethernet switch. The internet-related functions are done on the BEF only.

Don't forget to set up the wireless and secure the E2000 through its web interface to http://192.168.1.2/

  • CMR Cisco and Webex cloud solution

    Hello

I hope this is the right place to ask the questions about CMR cloud services and webex... If my current company is looking for room conference based cloud solution. WebEx is superb and I tested with the test account. I'm waiting for the trial of CMR license which, according to the guidelines of the page Web will take up to a week. I'm still confused between Webex and CMR. Are they basically the same?

Anyway, now my main question (not the one above) is that we also have a Cisco Telepresence C40 and a few cameras. We have them picked up by another agency recently closed. Can we use with the service cloud CMR or webex? Is there another device required for use with the cloud?

    Thank you

    Difan

Cloud of CMR is characteristic of WebEx Meeting Center and makes it possible to endpoints of video and applications to join the WebEx meeting.  So yes, it is possible with cloud of CMR for your C40 to participate in a Meeting Center meeting.

  • AMP for endpoints

    Hi guys

before you begin, forgive me for this post, I just need to be headed in the right direction.

I installed an ASA5506 on a customer site for a POV, behind their perimeter firewall. ASA sits on the network just to monitor traffic. He picked up malware immediately.

Now the customer is looking for malware to endpoints, I read and read,

In my view, there are two deployment modes, Proxy cloud and mode of the air gap.

customer already has a virtual environment, so what do I need exactly. monitor endpoints? The CMF? or cloud

I want a solution on the prem. I have read the deployment guide, but I still feel completely lost, someone please guide me...

You get the cloud account when you buy the amp for the endpoint.

    For the first snap,

  • SX80/20: registration number and directory

    Hi guys,.

I have deployed a solution of cloud CMR to a customer.  they have little sx80 and sx20 (no other end points).  This solution includes 1 cucm, exp, exp 1 e 1 c... That's all.

When endpoints are for the first time or (even when we re-) they go to the State is not registered until I connect on endpoint web gui and change the proxy sip of cucm fqdn to cucm IP address. then it works.  he enter info dns and domain name of the dhcp server. I don't think his dns problem.  Do I need internal _cisco - uds._tcp.example.com on dns srv record? I thought that it is necessary for the registration of jabber.

Second, after his seat, I can do b2b calls fine.  but the directory does not work. I can't see all contacts/users from cucm.

can you kindly give some directions?

    Thank you

    Vijay

If endpoints are trying to enroll in CUCM via FQDN and it fails, however, using the IP address works, it sounds as if it was a DNS problem. Have you checked through the logs of endpoint, you see something that stands out when attempting to register via FQDN?

  • The GRE and IPSec

We currently have several sites with ISAKMP/IPSec tunnels between routers 2800 and we need some of them migrate to the GRE with IPSec tunnels. Are there problems with endpoint tunnels GRE and IPsec on the same router and interface?

I didn't know all the problems - apart from the router doing the encryption/decryption & GRE encapsulation/decapsulation, just be respect for traffic through the put.

I have noted problems with traffic GRE and MTU problems. Cisco recommends a MTU of 1440 at Discretion, I would say that set 1400.

  • NAC agent and configuration of NHPS with ISE 1.1.1

I try to get all the workstations (OSX and Windows) install the begging native NAC Agent and Assistant during the on-board process.

I currently use portal default comments to EHT.

The environment has been implemented using a design of dual SSID.

For the moment, devices can plug the SSID of provisioning and get the CWA. Recording device works, the portal is running the installer of NHPS that correctly implements the network card.

The problem is that the portal never tries to install the NAC Agent.

Has a political client provisioning policies for wired and wireless as well as BONES. Each strategy includes a PSN and Agent NAC configuration. It seems that portal comments only checks the configuration of PSN and not the NAC Agent config.

    Any ideas?

Just if I understand correctly, you are using both a client provisioning portal and a native Portal begging provisoning related policies separate authz.

With that road you check to see if the customer is consistent in the political portal provisioning client.

Let me know if you have following configured (windows OS in the example), this implies that endpoint is statically assigned to RegisteredDevices after native pursueth provisioning.

Rule 0 (Group of endpoint = RegisteredDevice) AND (AD:Domain user and authentication method: x 509 and posturestatus: COMPATIBLE) = access allowed

Rule 1 (Group of endpoint = RegisteredDevice) AND (AD:domain user authentication method: x 509 [If you have deployed the certs to the State native supp] AND workstation NOT EQUAL: COMPLIANT) client provisioning RESULT portal.

Rule 2 (endpoint = Workstation group) AND RESULTS (AD:Domain user AND breed authentication using mschapv2) provisioning windows portal

    Hope that helps,

  • Telepresence TMS Server TCS

Hello. I need some good practices on this matter.

We have a soft copy of appliance server Telepresense TMS and TCS.

Is it a good idea to install a MSDS on the TCS Server?

Thus, TCS and TMS applications will be available on the same IP address

    WHAT?

Do that don't even think to it, not a good idea at all. If I had to explain all the problems that this may cause to the applications I could write all night.
