enjoy a rate of clock error (think this is 0.000): define a dummy value?

Hello
I use a VI and a USB-6211 to read in a txt file and this file as an analog waveform of voltage output and at the same time send a meter synchronized with this analog waveform. At the start of the VI, I have several errors:

First of all :-200077occured to the property Node DAQmx Timing(arg 5) in DAQmx Timing (sample clock)

PropertyampClk.rate, you asked: 0.00000, valid values begin by... etc.

Then:-88709, or the possible reasons: the specified operation cannot be performed because a task was abandoned or a device has been removed from the system... Task Name_unnamed task<22>

If I restart the VI (without closing), it works.

I think that what is happening, is that the property node is the research of sampling before clock frequency was calculated. The way I currently put it in place, the VI reads in the file and divides the number of samples in the file with the desired waveform period. (the typical file has ~ 100 samples), periods are about 1 sec.

I'm trying to find a way to have the sample clock to wait as the file to read before he seeks the sample clock frequency, or a set that a dummy valuethat not null will be replaced as calculated from the size of the file and the period. A search for 'sequence iof events', 'wait', etc. turned up other subjects.

I have attached the VI and a txt file/waveform sample.

Thank you

Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,

The simplest and easiest way is to use data streams: use wire instead of local variables and LabVIEW will be figure in the order of operations based on how they are related:

The less straightforward way is to use a sequence structure, which I wouldn't recommend here because it's just more complicated things:

Finally solved the problem. Discovered that the issue was only happening on HP systems so that it narrowed down. Yet a new windows install using their disks restore would fail on the new update (but only if HP utilities were all re-installed - for example, as fingerprint reader security utilities). I got some new updates for those and the problems went away. Yippee. My guess is that it was the security utilities that run in the background, because they are not browser so plugins work even in SafeMode to browser.

  • Example rate vs clock rate cRIO

I try to get my head around the difference in sample rate vs clock rate in the cRIO so I can explain it correctly my engineers in optics.

I have a FPGA code that is just the Basic with e/s example.  Modules 1, 2 and 3 are NOR-9201 with a sampling frequency of 2uSecs.  The FPGA runs at 40 MHz or 25nSec/Cycle.  Read in the documentation of the loop While takes at least 3 clock cycles.  Estimate that other functions of the loop take about 7 clock cycles, the loop should run in 250nSec.

This is faster that the 9201 - can enjoy.

What does the FPGA?  He expects the sample at the end?  Takes the value of the previous sample?  Do we get a partial sample?

    Paul_Knight_Lockheed_Martin wrote:

He expects the sample at the end?

Yes - the loop runs in reality more slowly - he will meet at the level of the I/O node to the end of the sampling - time which is the sampling rate of any module is in the loop. For example, some modules analog high-resolution have read very slow time (like 52ms) then the loop will run at a rate of around 52ms (according to any other code you got in there).

If you have the e/s high-speed digital, you almost definitely want to put it in a different loop at any analogue I/O so it is not slowing down your loop.

I think that some modules are able to run in a single-cycle timed loop - in this case, the module will run in a single clock beat (for example 40 Mhz).

  • explain DAQmx WARNING 200035 conversion rates lower clock rate minimum?

I'm sampling of data at 1 kHz on 3 channels using DAQmx read.  The DAQmx Read function returns a warning that:

"Specified clock rate is lower than the minimum conversion rate of the ADC." Your data may be invalid.

The material I have is a Multifunction PCI-6115 data acquisition of NOR.  If I am interested in signal above 100 Hz can I safely ignore this warning or what I taste to 50 kHz and then have labview re - sample data at 1 kHz?

Hi, according to the specifications you are limited by a minimum of 20 kS/s sampling rate. anything weaker that should give you the same error, because this is a physical limitation of the card is using the internal sample clock.

    Original title: Error message

I created several hyperlinks in excel spreadsheets over the years. I created a refrencing today a location in the same workbook as the hyperlink and several places of the week refrencing last on my hard drive. None of the links work now.

All hyperlinks have worked in the past. Today, I got an error message "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. "that's me, since this is my personal office. I made no changes in Excel or Windows.

    Possible reasons?

Where still look to find and fix this problem. I think it's a matter of windows and not a problem of office. I have winows 7 Home Premium and Office 2010.

I just receive the same error message when you try to follow a link in an e-mail to a Web page.

  • Images not showing and "there is an error on this page.

Hi, I maintain a fork of PDFBox, an opensource PDF engine. A user reported that one of its documents created with our library has made a mistake "there is an error on this page" and images were missing in Acrobat reader. I studied the he and the user managed to a given a short example file, I rechecked with specifications and nothing seems off... I also tried several PDF readers then 5 and they are all happily display the document, images and all, except Acrobat (I tried version 9 for Linux and the latest DC for Windows) which gives this error message. Could someone help me to know what is happening? Or at least, is a newspaper or a tool in Acrobat to understand what he dislikes in this document?

    https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12975533/12-Section_fish_manual.PDF

In short, I think my question is "what to do when Acrobat says that a document is malformed or corrupted so that all other drives don't"?

    Thank you

I got an immediate suspicion on this problem and it reduced, but I think it was really good. The problem is not the flow of the page I think but a color space that is referenced from an image online. R77 to be precise.

The reason why I was suspicious was there is a special case where many consumers PDF are wrong and Acrobat is right; and many PDF creators are too bad but the problem is so rare, that you almost never see. You can see where a string constant contains binary data. This is legal, of course, but the manipulation of the backslashes and returns to the line (both separately and together) is often incomplete or neglected. What we can be sure Acrobat is the search string indexed in R77 as having only 767 bytes, we run. My recommendation, because the implementions aren't in agreement, is to avoid the problem by using hex strings whenever a string contains binary data.

  • There was an error opening this document. Access denied.

    Greetings,

When I did my taxes last year (March 2012), I downloaded PDFs of the IRS.  Form 1040 was an accessible file for writing, and I filled the need.  This file was saved on a Vista on XP machine.  A few months ago, I upgraded this pc for Windows 7 SP1.

Today, I'm about to do my taxes for this year.  When I double click on Form1040.pdf of last year, I get the following error message:

There was an error opening this document.  Access denied.

Interestingly, I can open other files pdf, as the form 1040 Instructions.  I don't think I have my Form1040.pdf password protected.  The reason I think that it is not password protected is because I'm not be prompted to enter a password.

I copied the file in an old detached machine XP (XP Home Edition, version 2002, SP3) I have and it opens fine.  He did not ask for a password.  I have printed copies of forms of year last of this XP machine, so this isn't an emergency for me, but it's slightly annoying that I can't understand what is wrong.

I have Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.2 installed on two machines (the Windows 7 machine and the old XP machine).

To sum up, it was created on Vista, I can't open it with Windows 7, but I can open it with XP.

Normally I would consider loading the file in question, but in this case, I hope you agree that maybe it's a bad idea!

Tips to make it work on Windows 7 would be appreciated.

Access denied means that there is a kind of permission issues.  Check the permissions for your user id in this file.

Perhaps the reason for the problem of synchronization is the problem with the loading of google map?

Apple has not renewed the contract with Google to access Google servers.

If the old version of iPhoto, which are still using Google's servers for the cards and places are either crashing or hanging.  Places are only work in iPhoto 9.5.1 or newer, who use places of Apple servers.

There is more support for iPhoto from Apple.  You must update iPhoto 9.5.1 with the Mavericks. It would work well, only it is no longer buying this update to Apple.

Perhaps the reason for the problem of synchronization is the problem with the loading of google map?

It is very likely.  If iPhoto work very well when you are offline, then your problems will be caused by the connection failed to Googles servers.

GlobalStorage is no longer supported in the current Firefox (removed in Firefox 13), versions so the extension or Web site that uses it needs an update and use localStorage instead.
