Envy 15 freeze in rendering

Hello

I want 15 1100ea, win 7, ATI 5830.

Product name: serial number of VY195EA #ABU:[Personal Information deleted].

I had recently replaced cooling unit. Since then, computer laptop get gel frequently and speacialy everything in 3D rendering software - task before she did it without problem.

A lot of help, I'll appreaciate.

Thank you

Shaul

Thanks for the minidump!

I watched the 9 most recent minidumps. Here are the 4 latest since March 2013.

A. 06/05/13 - dxgmms1.sys - Page fault in non paged area

B. 06/05/13 - dxgmms1.sys - Driver IRQL not less or equal

C. 06/05/13 - ntfs.sys - Kernel Mode exception not handled

D. - iaStor.sys - 04/03/13 0 x 00008084

A and point B in a video driver issue. You mentioned that the driver is up-to-date in your last post. The video driver recently updated since 5/6 or earlier? If it was before, I would say that the uninstall from Device Manager, reboot, download and install the latest video driver from the link in my last post.

C is a pretty vague error according to my research. It simply means that there is one in the nucleus somewhere.

D is associated with the hard drive.

The other 4 I watched came from January and have not reappeared.

You have already run the memory and hard drive tests and they all came back without error so I would give that BIOS update a few days and see if you get all the other blue screens. If so, proceed to the video driver uninstall and reinstall instructions from A and B above. If after you have reinstalled the latest driver, you always encounter blue screens, I recommend to backup your files and reinstall Windows. Do not load any of your files or programs on immediately. Use the new installation of Windows for a few days, and then install a program both for a few days until you experience the error again, or not at all.

I hope this information helps! Let me know the results after using the computer with the latest version of the BIOS for a few days.

    Hello, as title my HP ENVY 15 freezes every time I stop or I put it in sleep mode. The LED stays on and if connected battery is discharged, and I must stop so hard the laptop each time. I already tried several solutions suggested by the forum, but unfortunately I'm not able to install an older version of the management engine Interface. I've already disabled the quick start and changed a lot of settings that might cause the galley with the closing, but nothing has worked.
    Thanks for your help, any suggestion is welcome.

    Hello

    Try the following.

    Open settings and select System.  Select food and sleep, and then click additional power settings - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

    In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close the open windows and restart the laptop.

    When windows has reloaded, download the driver directly from Intel IMEI on the following link, unzip the and run the installer.

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/download/26127/Intel-management-engine-consumer-driver-for-Intel-nu...

    Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

    When the machine rebooted, re - activate the quick start and restart the computer once more - let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

  • Envy 15 freeze on the transfer of data USB 3.0 drive when copying many files

    Thanks in advance.

    My brand new envy 15 (model LW897AV) (15 t-3000 CTO) crashes every time that I try to transfer a lot of files from a Flash DRIVE via the USB ports on the laptop.

    It gets about 5 minutes, then simply hangs. He had done this 7 times now. I got a message on a blue screen BSOD once:

    0xE0010002

    After calling technical support HP and Google search, they think it's a problem with the USB 3.0 controller or something to do with the hibernation mode. I updated the driver for USB 3.0 controller. No joy. Also, I changed the power settings to never Hibernate. Still no solution.

    The USB ports on the left side appear to be able to let go. Next to the USB port is a wireless mouse, and he loses too much power (the Green led turns off). Sometimes the mouse keyboard and the touchpad still works. Other times, everything is frozen.

    I can recreate the problem with two different USB drives. Of course, these USB drives have no problem with either of the readers.

    Help!

    Thank you. -ChipTay

    Hi kstoltz. I have the solution for you.

    Return it. I spent more than 20 hours, sending in the dump and bsod messages files. SUPPORT TECHNIQUE IN THE U.S. WAS AWESOME.

    FAR IS A SUPPORT TECHNIQUE WAS SO PAINFUL THAT I THREW ALMOST THE ENVY 15 IN THE MARINA.

    They said it was a problem with the hardware with USB 3.0 ports and file transfers. There was no trouble, so they have defective only intel chips on motherboards out there.

    I had an Exchange with an upgrade of RAM and processor for my troubles.

    :-)

    I love HP.

    Hello Royboy1946,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

    I see that you have a problem with the printer freeze.

    Please make sure you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

    Write me back and let me know if you still have questions or if you have any other questions.

    See you soon,.

  • Media Encoder CS5 freezes during rendering

    I created a project in first Pro CS5 (64 bit) on Windows 7 Pro x 64.  It takes 28 minutes.  When I try to go in Media Encoder CS5 (YouTube Widescreen HD), we get about 2/3 of the way through and then stops.  It does not close, it just hangs.  Not always in the same place (I tried four times).  If I click on stop queue, it asks if I am sure and when I say Yes (click 'No', in fact), it crashes and Windows presents its dialog box "Close the program?" followed by a dialog box saying: "PProHeadless.exe a Parisian of work" and asking if I want to close that, too.  I say Yes and return to the desktop.  I modified make VBR 2-pass VBR 1-pass, to see if she would get at least through the first pass without hanging, but he didn't.

    I have created dozens of projects with these tools, more short but some more long and don't have never had this problem.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

    Hi I_Iame,

    I have created dozens of projects with these tools, more short but some more long and don't have never had this problem.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

    You may have a corrupted file or a video effect in your editing. Replace the clip or effect to this article and you should be able to encode once again.

    Thank you

  • DVD freezes during rendering

    I am getting very frustrated.  I'd rather burn a DVD without menu, but it won't burn without menu.

    So I created a simple menu, the screen wide black one with a single button.  The menu is set on the first play, and the button is bound to the first chapter.  There are no other chapters.

    End action of timeline is set to return to the last menu.  The remote menu is return to the last menu.

    The properties of the drive say first of all the game's menu, and the main timeline is not defined.

    End of the menu action is stop.

    The chart shows just three things: icon pointing to the dvd menu.  the game in the menu is oriented to the timeline.

    I chose the writing speed 4 x.

    I'd love to hear what I am doing wrong and what I can do about it.

    Thank you!

    I wonder if your problem is with the transcoding of assets or with the construction of the disc, after transcoding is complete.  Transcode first, then build; who will tell us.

    A menu should not be transcoded; "s/o settings" is right - does really say no "transcoded" on the menu line?  If so, tell us about your menu.

  • Make freezes - how to solve?

    Using a machine fairly new HP, with 16 GB of the MMAR, Professional 10 operating system. have Adobe Premiere PRO CC, it is completely up to date.  All source material is on three external hard drives USB3.

    Working on a project where I worked on more than a year, no problems until a few weeks ago:

    Here are the questions:

    When rendering, the process will freeze and does not.

    When this happens, and I try to exit the program, first will not respond, and I have to use the Task Manager to quit smoking.

    One of my hard drives, would mysteriously go offline.

    I contacted Adobe Support, and although some problems have been solved, many still remain.

    (1) some freezes it rendering were caused by fixed JPEG images coming from a MAC, once I converted those, then the images rendered.

    (2) I moved all the files source on a USB hard drive.

    (3) I was able to make the specific sections of the timeline, but not the entire timeline, I still have specific files on the timeline that will not be rendered.

    (4) I was able to solve all the RED indicates the sections of the timeline, the sections that don't make are darker green color.

    (5) all my hard drives have been checked for errors and optimized.

    (6) I deleted all the files of rendering, and attempted to perform a new rendering of the show, the same questions have emerged.

    Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

    Thank you

    Michael

    Today, thanks to chat using Adobe, we have solved the problem.

    The problem was not with Adobe, when windows updated 10-day, he changed the rendering engine in first without my knowledge or permission.

    Once we have fixed the rendering engine, everything works now. the correct engine is software only playback Mercury engine.

    BE AWARE: Windows 10 changes a lot of settings when you upgrade, you must check a second time when you upgrade.

    Thanks for everyone taking the time to help, very much appreciated.

  • graphic multithreaded WPF error

    When I create 2 wires that respectively show 2 graphics, an error occurs.

    When I commented "_controlDispatcher1.BeginInvoke (aps1 [f], simulatedData)", no error occurs.

    code in MainWindow.xaml.cs line: 320

    complete code to testmultithread.zip

    I was able to reproduce the problem with your test project and create a task to solve this problem for the next version.

    The underlying problem is with the cache that allows us to record textures point when rendering with bitmaps. From your application, the simple workaround solutions as "using vector rendering" and "do not use item renderers" do not seem to appropriate. However, using pre-initialized converters shared, you can avoid the cache access exception and always use the point rendering. Here are the changes I have made to your project to get this working:

    (1) PointGraphicsReal.xaml

    Remove the section, where the point local renderers are created.

    (2) PointGraphicsReal.xaml.cs

    Declare a static collection of converters point to share between all the graphs and use them as the default value for the PointGraphicsReal graph:

    private static readonly SolidColorBrush[] _pointFills = new[]{
            Brushes.Red,
            Brushes.Lime,
            Brushes.Blue,
            Brushes.Yellow,
            Brushes.Magenta,
            Brushes.Cyan,
            Brushes.Red,
            Brushes.Lime,
            Brushes.White,
            Brushes.Lime,
            Brushes.Red,
            Brushes.Yellow,
            Brushes.Blue,
            Brushes.Cyan,
            Brushes.Magenta,
            Brushes.Lime,
            Brushes.Red,
            Brushes.White,
        };

    public static readonly PlotRendererCollection PointRenderers = new PlotRendererCollection(
            _pointFills.Select( fill => {
                var pointRenderer = new PointPlotRenderer { Shape = PointShape.Ellipse, Fill = fill, Stroke = null };
                // Freeze the renderer so that it can be used on any thread.
                pointRenderer.Freeze( );
                return pointRenderer;
            } )
        );

    public PointGraphicsReal( ) {
            InitializeComponent( );

    graph.DefaultPlotRenderers.AddRange( PointRenderers );

    // ...
        }

    (3) MainWindow.xaml.cs

    Initialize the converters point shared on the main UI thread, before they are used on all other threads, but their use in a hidden graph.

    public MainWindow( ) {
            new NationalInstruments.Controls.Primitives.Tables.RenderTargetBitmapWrapper( 1.0, 1.0 );
            InitializeComponent( );

    // Use all of the the shared renderers on one thread, to pre-cache the render settings for safe use on all threads.
            var graph = new Graph( );
            graph.Visibility = Visibility.Hidden;
            graph.RenderMode = RenderMode.Hardware;
            graph.DefaultPlotRenderers.AddRange( PointGraphicsReal.PointRenderers );
            graph.Data.AddRange( Enumerable.Repeat( (object)default( Point ), graph.DefaultPlotRenderers.Count ) );
            var panel = (Panel)this.Content;
            panel.Children.Add( graph );
        }

  • HP Envy 4500 - Scan does not, most periodic freezing

    Hello

    I'm having a ton of problems with my HP Envy 4500. I will first start by scanning. First to get the "No found computer" message when you try to scan (I can print fine however). I tried HP Print & Scan doctor, he said I was not fully installed the driver. So I download the file ~ 100 MB, then it passes through basic facilities, then allows you to "Connect to printer", I'm wireless and enter the IP address (which is connected and Excellent report) and about 10 seconds later, he says: "cannot find the printer. My only options are the search, the installation program and cancel. Therefore, I can never get to install and he sends me in a loop. I also file & Printer sharing turned on with Windows 8.1, with the automatic configuration of network devices.

    Since the end of the printer, I've tried manual and automatic IP and also directly connect without a bit of luck. In addition to these frustrations adds the printer freeze about every 10-15 minutes. I have to disconnect and reconnect the printer for it to work again because it is totally insensitive.

    Finally, my printer indicates an update is available, so I download a driver, but it ends with the OXB82EF9BA error code. All crashes again.

    I tried everything that I can for hours without success. Please notify.

    -Jesse

    Hello Jesse_B,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

    I understand that you get some problems with your desire to 4500. I will do my best to help you! First of all, I need to know your operating system on the computer that is having these problems? Click here to read: Windows.

    Because you are having problems with the HP software, I'll give you a few steps to help:

    Please uninstall the software on your computer by following this document from HP about uninstalling the printer software. When it finished, I would like you to clean your Temp folder on your computer:

    1. click on the start menu, in search programs and files type % temp %

    2. press on Ctrl and together on your keyboard (this will highlight all)

    3. right click on your mouse and click on remove

    Now, perform a clean boot on your computer by following this Microsoft document here. This will eliminate the conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program.

    Secondly, I would like to you can use the Printer Wizard to install the full features software. This is the right software and you need to use a USB cord to perform this step. It will be much easier to find your wireless network. (It's only for the Windows operating system 7-8: 1).

    If you printer is still the gel, then make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector. I want to see if that makes a difference. Also, try to reset the printer for more than 60 seconds. Leave the printer turned on > unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

    You receive an error message "OX82EF9BA". This refers to an error in Windows Update. You must perform this update on your computer. Please post your results, I will be looking forward to hear from your part have a good night!

  • Envy 15-j101ex: HP Envy 15-j101ex - Windows Pro 10 x 64 - HyperV - startup freeze

    I have a laptop HP Envy 15-j101ex.  It is running 64 bit Windows 10 Pro.  There the last HP BIOS: Insyde F.65

    I need to turn on Hyper-V (hypervisor hyper-V).  I added the Windows features (enabled in the Control Panel Add Windows features): platform Hyper-V and the Hyper-V management tools.

    Work for the Hyper-V hypervisor, virtualization hardware support must be enabled in the BIOS.  The laptop supports hardware support for virtualization.  But when "Virtualization technology" is enabled in the BIOS (with active UEFI), it ends with a freeze on startup with the circle of rotation (under the logo of HP) and the laptop won't boot.  Virtualization technology must be in the OFF position or the will of the laptop does not start.

    I checked on the Microsoft site and ran the tools proposed: coreinfo.exe, check the SLAT, DEP status checked.  Everything on the laptop is as specified in the requirements for Hyper-V.

    > - what someone faced this problem?

    > all suggested fixes?

    Note: I've seen suggestions to turn Bluetooth off and uninstall the driver. But if I uninstall the Bluetooth drivers, Windows will automatically reinstall the Bluetooth drivers after a reboot. And if the BT device is just disabled in Device Manager (without uninstalling drivers), problem (defective start).

    Thank you very much!

    GH

    Problem finally solved manually!

    Cause: Windows 10 and HP site give BAD (old) version of the Mediatek (Ralink) drivers for this laptop HP Envy (15-j101ex).  Had to manually search for drivers updated on ALL HP websites.  And after many wasted hours (trying to locate the drivers and trying to disable bluetooth constantly) found the Mediatek drivers updated.  Please see the links below.

    Solution:

    Download the drivers for the adapter Mediatek Wireless LAN RT3290:

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=ob_150624_1#tab3

    Download drivers for Mediatek Bluetooth adapter RT3290:

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?swItemId=vc_159313_1#tab3

    Install the drivers and then turn it ON "Virtualization technology" in the BIOS and you should be good to go!

    HP support could be more USEFUL:

    The web site for this laptop should provide access to the latest drivers for Windows 10.  And the database of drivers window must be updated so that Windows 10 provieds the LATEST drivers for HP laptops.

  • E: HP HP Envy screen glitches and freezes when at a certain angle

    When my screen is directed through an angle of 90 degrees, my screen either glitch on (colors are reversed, etc.) or sometimes freeze while the screen becomes clearer until it whitens.  When this happens, the only way to fix the screen is to move the screen at a different angle.  Any ideas what is causing this problem and no solution?

    Hey @el1054,

    Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

    I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked into your problem on your HP Envy laptop and having problems starting with lines on the screen. Here is a link to a document that will help you to troubleshoot the image on the screen flickers, has lines or distorted colors.

    You have connected a monitor to the laptop to check if it comes to that as well?

    If it does not appear on the screen, it could be a connection problem with the LCD screen or the inverter cable.

    Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

    I'd be happy to help you if necessary. How can I find my model number or product number?

    Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • HP ENVY 700-149 freezing several times (graphics card problem)

    Hi, I bought a HP ENVY 700-149 days ago and right out of the box it freezes several times every 10-15 minutes that it is in use.

    Indeed, it appears a little error box in the corner that says:
    "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver display driver, Version 311.41 stopped responding and has successfully recovered. »

    Sometimes this box appears several times in a row (quickly) and the computer continues to operate, but more often it pops up this message and then the computer freezes and must be stopped and restarted manually.

    In addition, it will crash occasionally to the 'blue' Windows screen with the message: "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP" and the specific problem refers to "nvlddmkm.sys" which I googled and it has to do with the Nvidia graphics card as well.  The installed (from the factory) graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 635 with 2 GB memory DDR3 dedicated.

    I installed all the updates that are available for Windows 8 and have checked the Web of NVIDIA website for updates for the driver but nothing is available and the problem persists.

    Can I do to solve this problem?

    Hello

    Your PC is under warranty. Not to be with an intermittent problem with a new PC.

    HP support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here.

    HP has a 21 day return policy.  After that, it's a warranty issue.
