Hello

I've just set up my new printer.  I had good time set during the installation, but now in view of the Control Panel, it's showing the wrong date and time.  How can I fix this please?

Please do not take into account.  I just figured how to fix it.

    To use the Scan software on your printer, you will need to download and install the printer driver.

    Once you have installed the software, you can click the icon for the printer on the desktop and it will bring up the HP Printer Wizard and you can use the Scan software.

    You will first need to scan more than one page, select "Save as PDF".

    Once you've scanned the first page, in order to scan several pages, you will need to click on 'Add page' (as shown)

    When you are finished, you can save the document.

  • ENVY 5530 e-all-in-One Series: My ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a multi-page document.

    My newly installed (Jan 2015) ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a document with several pages of my HP desk top 500-123ea, windows 8.1. Message on PC "Unable to print document", it's even on Double or single sided printing.  A ran Scan doctor, OK; reloaded software and Firmware from the Hp site. He spent hours and hours of reading the elements of list of support HP; Impossible to talk online with HP. very in angry and frustrated. This HP product seems not as "fit for purpose". I will give HP Feedback after this announcement and rate accordingly. I beleve others have similar experience of this problem. HP is aware?  Is anyone out there that can help?

    I used to have a printer Photosmart 4400 C that would allow me to scan to produce searchable PDF files, i.e. I could select letters or words in a text selection tool in my PDF reader.   Today, I just bought a DESIRE 4500 e-All-in-One-Series.  It will scan only text to give me a graphic PDF that is not searchable.  I've updated to the latest version of the EN4500_198.exe driver, but it does not help.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    No, the 4500 desire doesn't have any default OCR software, you will have to pay for the software and believe it or not, that the software is more expensive than the printer itself. You can buy the software or you can try to use some free software around:

  • HP ENVY 4500 E - ALL - IN - ONE: HP ENVY 4500 E - ALL - IN - ONE DOES NOT PRINT

    I can't print from my desktop PC with an ethernet connection, but I am able to print from my laptop with a Wi - Fi connection.

    The printer used to work on my desktop PC, then I upgraded to Windows 10, made the operating system was not entirely compatible with my PC, reformatted it with the help of remote support Microsoft, back to Windows 7, had a lot of problems with Windows Update and WIndows Installer and so also with the installation of the driver.

    I tried installing from the original installation CD HP Envy with no luck, uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest driver from the HP website with no luck and since (apparently) to solve the problem with Windows Update and WIndows Installer, uninstalled and reinstalled the driver software on the CD again with no luck.

    I tried all the suggestions on the forums, with my computer hang too for the first time in weeks at the recommendation of msconfig on your forum for disabling startup programs.

    The scanner works.

    Sometimes, in Word, I get a message error "Windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup". Sometimes I have no message.

    When you run the PSDR, have you selected the connection "network (192.168.2.107) is not installed? Being not fully installed is causing the problem.

    There is corruption on the computer, this can certainly occur after you upgrade your operating system. I suggest to try the following steps in the following order for best results.

    Manually delete the print driver:

    This problem occurs if there is printer drivers are corrupt.
    I suggest that you remove all installed printers and reinstall Windows 7 printer drivers if available.
      
    Remove a printer
    1. click on the "Start" button, type PRINTERS in the start search box and press ENTER.
    2 find the printers installed icons, then delete them.
    3. right click on the blank part of the window and choose "Run as Administrator"-> "Server Properties".
    4. on the tab drivers, select them printers list and click Remove. Please, select Remove driver and driver package.
    5. open the start menu, enter APPWIZ. CPL in the search box and press ENTER to launch the "programs and features".
    6. try to remove all related printer software.
    If the problem is not resolved, I suggest that you clear the money printing system.

    Step 1
    ======
    Start Windows Explorer, and then rename all the files and folders in the following two folders:
    c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32X86
    To rename a file, we can click with the right button on the file and select Rename.
     
    Step 2
    ======
    1. Click Start, type REGEDIT in the start search bar and then press ENTER.
    2. navigate to and then click the following registry key:
     

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environment\Windows NT x 86

    Find and click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors registry key. View the list of subkeys. There should be only the following subkeys:
    BJ language monitor
    The local port
    Microsoft Document Imaging writer monitor
    Microsoft Shared Fax Monitor
    Standard TCP/IP port
    USB Monitor
    WSD port
    If there are any keys other than those listed above, follow these steps to remove them:
    a. on the file menu, click Export.
    (b) in the file name box, type a descriptive name for this key--for example, type Monitorsregkey - and then click Save to save it to your local office.
    We can use this backup of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors registry key to restore the key if you experience problems after you complete this procedure.
    c. delete all keys other than the above 5.
     
    Step 4. Disconnect the printer from the computer and restart the computer.
     
    Step 5. Reconnect the cable from the printer to the computer, install the printer according to the manufacturer's installation instructions and then check if the problem persists.

    I read on the way in which you no longer have a certain computer, however, the printer it still lists as a detection option of.

    1. I'd say trying to power cycle the network devices first, which can remove this PC in the list of printers:
    Turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press the buttons on the router).
    Plug the router back in and wait another minute, turn on the printer and the computer.

    Check the printer to see if the PC you have more is always listed or not.

    2. If the PC is still listed on the printer, check out this guide to set up the scan of the computer to the correct computer:

    I have successfully installed the printer software and received instructions to set up printer, with the claim code.  I created an account on the site Web HP connected and click on the devices tab, but the only thing on this page is a Printers tab, do not add a device tab.  I tried several times without different results.  I can't enter my claim code, and my table of 24 hour time runs out.  Is there anything else I can do?

    Hi, I am at a loss to explain why you do not see additional connected a device button in the tab devices when you are connected to your HP account. If you are located in the United States, you can call the Cloud Services on 855-785-2777 support team to see if they can solve that problem for you.

    Regarding the other issue you describe, have you tried to reinstall the software again? A it is solved the problem of not completing the print jobs? You also mention that you have downloaded and installed the HP Print & Scan doctor but utility that your computer will not open it. It's on the 8.1 Windows machine? If so, make sure that you download the latest version of the tool from this Web page. I don't know why your computer is supported its corrupt. Maybe try again to it and if it happens a second time after back and I'll do some research. To remove the file just do a search on the computer for it and send it to the trash.

    Absolutely, you can. The range of USB printer cables are the same, so even if you have an old kicking around, this would be a great way to test if the problem is from the network.

    One other thought, you have another computer or peripheral such as an iPad or iPhone, you can try printing over the network? This would help determine if the problem is limited to only your laptop. (Printing on a wireless network with Apple AirPrint FAQs)

    There are TONS of OCR options out there. Even if your printer is not necessarily delivered with a release of box OCR solution you can always us third-party software to do what you are looking for. Here is a link for the top 5 free OCR software tools. The article is a bit dated you can search in your favorite search engine to find the solution that best fits your needs. I went to the Microsoft Office Document Imaging or OCR via google Docs, as I have already included it with office and use google Docs quite heavily.   • Reinstallation of HP Photosmart e-All-IN-one series D110

    My operating system is Windows 8 (64 bit) I had to unstall my HP Photosmart e-all-in-one series D110 printer. I had problems with it a few times where I received a message that it was installed properly and put on the CD to complete the installation.  But when I put the CD in I got the page but there is no other option than EXIT. I use the wireless control. So, no I unhooked the printer and used a cleaning tool. Restarted my computer and put it in the drive to start the installation.  I get this same page with only one OUTPUT option.  Any thoughts what I can do to have it installed.

    If you try to connect your printer to the router, you should make sure that wireless Direct is trurned to offshore. Direct wireless is a feature that allows you to connect a device directly to your printer without router (the printer generates its own wifi)

    Please turn off direct wireless (it's often a button on the front panel) and try to connect again.

    I bought an envy4500 all in one series and after all tests and installation correctly, I had only one problem: when I print from excel files including 'grid' the printer will print all the lines in files. Sometimes jump the line grids, then print two or three grids correctily and back to the grid (lines). I made a copy of old copies and the copy was perfect.

    Impression in 'best' or 'quality' mode should solve your problem.

    Alternatively, you can also use any other border style in Excel and it should print correctly.

    I would be grateful if this does not resolve your problem, or a problem on something other then Excel, border 'Style 2' in mode 'Normal' or 'Draft' hearing.
