Envy beats audio: cursor frozen on screen

Hello. I hope that all is well. My cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen, I can move it anywhere. My laptop doesn't have a battery that I can get out. Help

Hello

Stopping Notepad and then try the menu of the bios again via the following methods:

Click next to the ESC key as soon as you start Notepad to open the Start Menu, then choose f10 to open the Bios Menu.

or

Tap here to f10 as soon as you turn on.

If you can access the menu of the bios, Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

If this does not help, then it began to resemble a hardware failure.

Kind regards

  • HP ENVY Beats Audio - Subwoofer m6-1231ea does not work

Recently purchased HP ENVY with beats audio and triple bass subwoofer m6-1231ea

But how to get the subwoofer to work? By pressing fn + b does nothing...

    Hello @Gurtais,

I read your post about how you try to get the subwoofer on your laptop for work, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

Because the subwoofer is an automatic feature of your sound system, I recommend reinstalling the drivers software and hardware original that came with your system. This can be done by following the steps described in this document on the use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8). Once installed, please update the drivers by Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8).

If you are still not able to use the subwoofer after update the software, I recommend to return your system to a previous restore point to where the subwoofer was working. To do this, please follow this document on using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8).

Should the subwoofer still not work with the rest of the sound system, I suggest you perform a backup and restore of your operating system. This can be done by following this resource on the backup of files (Windows 8), and more to perform a recovery of the HP (Windows 8) system. This should help get your system back to factory settings.

If the problem persists, please call our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number.

Due to a defect in software re Windows 10, I had to install a new hard drive in my laptop. I didn't have a recovery disk installed Windows 10 again from scratch.

  • Envy 15 1000 beats audio: power on black screen

I was watching a DVD and moved from one room to the other laptop. Suddenly the screen goes black, but I can still hear the movie. I turn it works, nothing.
I do a hard reset by removing the battery and it turns on but no screen. The fingerprint scannet led lights up and accept my fingerprint, but the screen stays off.
I feel that I hit a button, but I don't know which. I just got this laptop 3 days ago. I had no other programs running, but the film.

In this case, it seems that one of the physical connections or display itself has gone wrong. To be better if you can try to connect it to monitor or get it checked store of the local computer or HP service center.

  • Is integrated audio (Audio envy;) Beats Audio) good, or do I have to upgrade to a sound card?

I am considering a desktop HP Envy Phoenix 810-130qe computer. not a gamer, but as the music & videos. Is the integrated audio quality?

    Haaa, welcome to the forum.

I can't answer the question of personal knowledge, but I had several HP computers, none is as beautiful as this one.  I'm a musician who is very picky with how the music on my computer sounds.  I've never used anything sound integrated.  I use 12-year old Polk Audio loudspeakers with my h8 1228 and they sound very good.  My next speakers will be speakers Bose computer USB.  They provide their own power.  They are quite expensive, but worth it.

Please click on "BRAVO", if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.

This is a new PC, but the beats Control Panel seems to be a simplified version of what is shown on the HP website. A chat session with HP support gave me with the latest Realtek driver set, but the control panel is still the same after installation. There is no options of selection of entries (i.e. stereo mix, etc.)

Here is my control panel Audio Beats:

Here is what is displayed on the HP site:

Any help to solve this problem is appreciated...

Thanks for your reply. I had to install the latest drivers Realtek HD Control Panel. After a day of searching, I did the following:

-Right click on the volume icon in the lower right corner, and then select "recorders".

-The right window opens and click on the "Recording" tab

-The Mic Mic/Front with the right button and select "show disabled devices".

-With this checked, the stereo mix appeared, giving me the access I need (and always had in the previous PC.)

    Thanks again.

  • m6-1178ea audio HP envy beats sound fluctuations and low windows 8.1 (no compatible drivers)

    Hello

I have a laptop hp envy beats audio m6-1178ea. everything worked great until I upgraded to (forcibly) to windows 8.1. Since then, the audio has reduced in quality, power. The control panel with EQ does nothing. Small changes with the sidebar on the left, but in general the sound is it good and really low. When I plugin speakers or earphones, it's even worse, the quality declines more, the sound comes only out really low and flat, no bass and also varies a lot. (for example when I plugin the speakers for 1 second the sound is good and strong, and then he goes down and fluctuate). I have lived many forums like this one, I used the latest drivers (which are more than a year), I used the default windows drivers that disables audio beats, still nothing.

All solutions? Microsoft, HP will lead to a solution and the correct drivers?

This document should help to upgrade your system to Windows 8.

  • HP ENVY m6-1125dx: Beats Audio In/Out-put pilot missing AFTER Factory Reset/OfficeProgram reinstalling Windows

    Hello

So about three months ago I had a problem with my HP mouse and browser. both were glitching on screen and does not allow me to type consistently or right-click (to copy, paste, etc.). After seeking help from technology College friends, HP reps (which were not useful since my ch isn't under warranty anymore) and work friends, no one would understand it. I decided to make a setting reset according to which did not help. Then, a factory reset. Finally, it fixed my problem, yay no glitching more! So I contacted Microsoft to reinstall my Microsoft Office. After I have reset a computer and everything was in order, I hung up with them. By attempting to play a video a few moments later, I noticed that my volume is not working. I tried through the Troubleshooting Device Manager (replied 'No audio device found'), by lifting missing audio drivers via the HP Web site (found nothing) and call Microsoft to see what they could do since HP reps no help. So far, no progress is possible except that Microsoft has discovered that he is no longer an audio in/out located on my device. This is absurd! My laptop was purchased 2 years ago for around $500 with award-winning special Beats Audio Sound System. I want to come back. I was forced to resolve the previous question myself and I wa slucky enough to find a way. But now, I am presented with an audio problem I'm afraid that I can't solve in my favor.

If someone who comes through my investigation has informed business and education with a solution to the please my problem do not hesitate to contact me with your advice and your credentials. I'm willing to try anything at this point, but of course not at the expense of my computer. Experienced responses welcome!

I hope someone can help me. Manager Microsoft is kind enough and plans to call me again today at 15:00. But, I really don't think there is anything else on our end that we can do. It's all HP to reinstall the audio driver Beats for me once again.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I do not work for a hardware or software company. Since your machine drivers support site, available for Windows 10, only the drivers that came with your machine (for Windows 8). Driver for Windows 8 above should work as ask you 'pilot missing AFTER factoryreset/windows.

    Kind regards.

Once done, press and hold the SHIFT key when you click shutdown , completely power down the laptop,

When the laptop is turned off, press and hold the button for 10 seconds.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.
