Envy5530: Full print

Printing photos from iPad turn out chopped off the coast, and may lead them to, page size.

Hey @Valerieh1200,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you have a print quality problem with your HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this and have some suggestions that could lead to a properly shaped picture to print.

Have you been using the AirPrint method to print photos from your iPad?  It's when you go to the photo and print it simply hit without running third party applications; (AirPrint is Apple's built-in printing method).  With all the respect that is due to Apple, this method is great for basic, fast wireless printing, but you can see that sometimes, photos and other documents have formatting issues that require the ability to print more complex to solve.

Therefore, I recommend that you try to use the HP ePrint app.  You can click here to install it.  You need activate the application using your personal email address.  That your printer is probably connected to your wireless network, all you have to do before using the app is activate webservices to your printer (the ePrint feature).  Here's how:

  • Front panel of the printer, press the icon of webservices .
  • If you do not see an address of @hpeprint.com, enable the webservices and press OK to enable the automatic updates of printers.
  • If you see an address @hpeprint.com already and you want to customize, click here for more information.

Once you activate the application, click here for more information on how to use the HP ePrint app.  You will see in this article, and also when using the application and the selection of Photos, you can print all the photos stored on your device and configure print settings such as paper size, type, print quality, crop the photo, etc.

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  If I helped you to solve the problem and that you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual accessories by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • I want to get quick/full printing with my wireless HP photosmart printer

I recently bought a HP Photosmart Plus printer wireless, scanner, copier. If I'm something to print a word document it prints usually immediately. If I try to print from email, photos, etc., it usually takes 5 minutes before the print job is completed. It starts and then stops after that part of the document is complete. Sometimes, it prints a photo of an inch at a time. After every inch, it ejects the page, again, prints an extra inch, then ejects to this page. Then it starts all over again and repeat the process until finally, after 10 or if the partial pages, it's a complete picture. Diagnosis of HP does not come to the top with an answer to the problem. It is the second unit of HP wireless I've tried. The first, a different model, experienced the same issues and I went back because I thought it was a problem with the printer. Now the same problem is occurring with the new printer, so I think the problem is with the Windows Vista Home Basic.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Crapemyrtle,

Something has changed on your machine since the last time it worked correctly?

It was a Windows Update recently.

I want also to suggest that to go to the HP website to download any software and drivers they have available for your printer and install them.  You should be able to find them here:

After you have installed windows 10 my main screen printing is out of the display area.  the 'Print' button is under the bottom task bar.  I have to hit the enter key to print.  How can I display the window full print options?

    Hi @Hoppy1839,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that the print window is off the screen and you can not click on print. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

If the print window is not properly positioned on the screen, here is an article that illustrates two methods to solve such issues.

Bring misplaced off-screen Windows on your desktop (keyboard Trick) Get your hidden window returns with Cascade Windows

To retrieve a hidden window, the easiest method is to simply right-click on the taskbar and select "Cascade windows".

This immediately cascade all windows open like this, move your window on the screen:

If this does not work, go ahead with the tour of keyboard below.

  • HP Envy WIFI printer will not install

    Hello

You put a serial number of the printer here, not a model number of the printer

Access the site of HP drivers at this link > put in the full printer model number > select your operating system > find the right drivers > download and install following the instructions from HP that you may find.

  • Why a report I get attached to my documents when I print?

    Printer: CB494A

    OS: Windows XP

Whenever I have print a document, a sort of supplementary report is added to the end that includes the information below.  I know I have changed a setting in error, but I just can't understand that one.  Also, I think it's just as likely that the problem is not in the printer, but in the Word settings (2010).  I looked here, too, however, and I just empty.

    Your advice is appreciated.

  • OfficeJet 5740: Problem of margin envelope C6 with HP OfficeJet 5740 all-in-one printer

Envelopes (and Yes, I know how to load) print perfectly well, except that the left part of the return address is cut off. In order to get the full print return address, it is necessary to define a very wide margin that moves the return address too close to the center of the envelope.

In 2014, a user of Windows 7 has had exactly the same problem, and solved by offering it use another personal HP printer driver (what they delivered) for his printer. You can read how the issue has been resolved here. You have any fix available for people using Mac OS? I really don't understand why it is possible to print close to the border of the page with the largest paper (A4), covder the entire area a photo 4 x 6, but require a huge margin between the left side of the envelope and the return address.

Thanks in advance for your help. I really like this printer, but if she is not able to perform a routine task such as printing an envelope normal search, it reallty is a showstopper for me. It must just be a bug in the driver, and it needs to be fixed!

Welcome to the HP Forums @dkiechle!

I'd love to help you print on envelopes without having to change the margins to a point as it is too close to the center of the envelope return address. Since you mentioned the pilot, let's start there.

Please follow the instructions below to check which driver you are using and change:

    1. Click on the Apple and then click on System Preferences.
    2. In the hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/scanning dialog box opens.
    3. Click on your printer if it is selected and find beside 'type' to see which driver is used.
    4. If you see AirPrint, remove the printer, then click on the small symbol to add the printer back again.
    5. Choose your printer and click on the drop down next to the 'use '. You will see the option to choose your printer in this "use" drop down. The image below is a screenshot of an Officejet printer, but help to display my description.

If you see the HP printer that is already in use and not AirPrint, deleting the printer and add it again using the AirPrint driver. This will help isolate the driver as the first cause one way or other part.

If this resolves the issue, please click Accept as Solution below; If not, let me know and I will do everything I can to help.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back on your part.

  • distortion of margin Officejet 7000 borderless printing

Engineering, drawing on 11 x 17. "The standard of drawing itself has a border rectangular 10.25x15.875 ', for. 75' margin on the left. 375' others.

Borderless printing with no scaling gives (1:1) (from Autocad, Adobe Acrobat and PDF Creator) a. 625 "margin on the left. 25 "on others. It's bad and distorts the picture slightly (it is now a bit bigger, 1.6% long and 2.4% the way short).

Other large HP and Canon printers and the conspirators were used and have never had this problem.

Please provide/offer fix / adjust / solution (which means no pre distorting the drawing so it ends up right). Thank you.

By choosing "without borders" print of the image is usually slightly oversized to prevent any margin oversight white (in the full print without borders) due to misalignment.  For your application, it may be preferable to choose not without borders.  If the margins are cut then select "Minimize margins" in the Advanced tab.

  • Re: Officejet 6500 has more - printer goes to sleep, wakes.

    Hello

Location: HP Officejet6500A more - new iMac 27 "with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) - new driver installed OK HP - printer is connected via USB and I turned off the power on the printer wireless.

After that full power on the work of the printer scans well, work, fax work - but what printer goes to sleep "indicated by the power LED flashes slow" I can't wake him again when sending a new print job - I need to do a full power off/on power by removing the power cable.

When the printer is "asleep" utility printer HP cannot connect until I do a power full printer deactivation / activation.

While the printer is in standby, pressing the flashing slow power switch / light has no effect to wake up the printer, only a full power/turn off works.

I could not find info on the led slow blinking power manual?

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

    Hello

Thanks for the post.  With this one, I recommend following the steps listed in the link below.  Make sure you are plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a power strip or conditioner.  Good luck!

  • Check printer print

    Hi all

would we beable to direct me in the right direction when it comes to printing from flash?

Y at - it a script that would beable to check the status of a printer before it will print and give a pop-up message saying something like ' printing... Please wait "then a pop up saying"Full print"this kind of thing?"

Thoughts and help would be very appreciated

    Thank you very much

No, you can't avoid the print window appear unless you create a projector or air application.

to print a bitmap, you load everything first.  You can then print it.

  • HP Deskjet 3520: Windows 10 update, failed to refresh an ink

Since the update to Windows 10 I lost the HP page that allows me to update the ink, scan to printer, etc.  How to do that now?   Your help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

    DiGill

    Hi @DiGill,

I saw your post about software problems you encounter since the upgrade to Windows 10 and I would like to see if I can help.

First, you must consider the information contained in these resources.

If you printer software was installed before your upgrade, I try to uninstall the software completely and then reinstall it by using the most recent driver available on the HP Web site. Here's how to clean all the drivers of your computer.

I recommend referencing the steps described in this document to make sure that you haven't missed anything whatsoever;  Uninstalling the printer software - use as a rough guide, but the steps for Windows 8 should be pretty close to Windows 10.

You can also delete files using disk cleanup - take care to put check marks in selection boxes when it is available. (Once again Windows 8)

Software drivers can hide other places would be in your device manager.

    To open Device Manager:
    1) enter the Device Manager in the search field.
    2) click on Device Manager.
    (3) you can click on View, in the upper part of the windows, click Show hidden devices.
    (4) to develop the types of devices and check for any pilot associated with your printer.
    (5) to remove a device from Device Manager, click on the name of the device in the list and then click Uninstall.

For more information, see for Windows Device Manager information 8/10.

Download the newest software package here; Drivers and software features full printer e-all-in-one HP Deskjet 3520.

Or download the direct link here.

Then look for the updates of Windows; Drivers and software with Windows Update (Windows Update 10, 8)

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • Windows Fax and Scan cannot detect Photosmart C4580 all-in-1 scanner connected to the wireless network

I have no problem printing or scanning when I connect my C4500 to PC via USB.  When connected via my home wireless router I can print OK but can not scan - it's the same for other users and computers.  Windows Fax and Scan gives me the message 'no scanner found. '  I need to work so that all users on my netwrok home can share the scanner.  I use Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks Travis_C (HP).  I actually found the solution just before receiving your answer!  I discovered that, although the Solution Center says it would uninstall the existing files before allowing me to reinstall with the latest version downloaded, it didn't remove all the files.  I only discovered this because the new facility has not taken me through the whole fresh installation procedure, he simply asked me what additional features I wanted to install and asked me if I wanted a local printer or network etc.

I thought that there must be a mistake or problem with whatever existing files were left and the new facility would not correct it.  So I used the control panel to uninstall the existing files, and I made sure that everything was gone.  I then used the last download to reinstall, this time through the new correct installation procedure, and everything now works perfectly.

With this method I always had a problem on another PC, giving me the same problem I had before.  I realized that this was due to a USB dongle connected to the PC to a wireless keyboard that seems to affect the installation.  When I removed the dongle installation worked again perfectly, and I now have full printing and scanning ability on all PCs.

I think the installer for this printer wireless (and perhaps others?) should be updated to solve the problem, and also the center of Solution must be fixed to ensure that if you uninstall the software it should not leave anything.
