• How to upgrade software Epson printer XP-710?

  I get so far with my Epson printer software update, and when I go to Apple, as said (see the screenshot below), I get lost.  Apple always seems to take me to the update of Yosemite, Captain, but not where I can update my printer.  My printer has AirPrint so I thought it was always automatic.  It's an Epson XP-710.  My Macbook Pro is OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

  I had this problem too. I've pretty much went through all the same steps that you did and I went through internet looking for a response to not available. I only thought of it by chance, just that my patience was key to its end. The solution is simple, but it is not clear.

  Follow the instructions on the next page to properly set up your XP-630 with Epson drivers. Basically, it is not a matter of just download the driver (who knew?). You must remove and re-add the printer from Apple settings, where you can select the driver instead of AirPrint manually.

  Then - and this is what I've been hung up on for like an hour - the printer will disappear entirely as option in Print CD. You must select "Update printer information" in the file menu. He is never picked me up there; Only, I came across it by chance.

  very very slow printing and print spooler

  All of a sudden, I'm practically impossible to print on one of my 2 printers epson (R260 and R1800).    By hitting print (or ctrl-p) in any application (Adobe CS4, or MS Office, Internet Explorer or Firefox), it takes between 2 and 5 minutes to the next printer dialog box upward and so much time to print striking impression.

  I removed the printer and re-installed new epson drivers, and I also did several selective startups and clean boots, none of these help.   The printer is connected directly to the computer via usb.  When all printers are removed and only MS xps document writer, and fax are listed, the dialog boxes find instantly, but as soon as I re - install any printer, it crashes.   I also re-installed Windows 7 (as an upgrade), and stopped and restarted print spooler, but that has not changed anything.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated, it drives me crazy...

  I have an Epson SX405 and it was made slower and slower since I was a Windows 7 laptop.

  Finally discovered (a trick on another help site) the AUD in C:\ProgramData\Epson\PRINTER file. The more it grows, it gets the slower.

  So just delete this file. The driver will create an another next after printing, but nice and small.

  After that, keep him from time to time, delete before it happens basically again.

  using Windows 7 and 8.1 of Windows via a shared house group the WF-2540 Epson printer is off line.  This printer uses with two PCs using Windows 7 and a PC using Windows 8 with no problems.  Today it usually just printing using 1 PC with 7-1 8.  It is connected to the PC works well.  This isn't wired wireless we have wireless at the office.   Use this way for years with no problems, then suddenly this morning its all stopped.  I read so much information on it with no satisfactory response.  Epson will not know that it is not connected via radio or directly with a PC, so I'll through in circles.

  I reinstalled the PC on Windows 8 PC nothing works.  Any suggestions as to what I can try next as business has ground to stand without the printer!

In fact, I used more then one of Rogers, their internet service connected to the decoder of Rogers cable, in the meantime, I used wifi router connected with printer, but currently, I went to the Bell company, Bell connect system is difference, their modem was Bell 2WIRE, they had wifi build in for all my cell phone in the House.
