eRecovery media compatibility

I have an Acer Aspire E1-571-6856 with windows 7 Home Premium.

I want to buy an erecovery disc.

My laptop is out of warranty.

The page for the erecovery asks SNID.

When I get my laptop SNID, nothing happens.

How can I be sure I'm getting a recovery disc that works?

I tried to move by Microsoft to buy or make a free recovery disk, but when I enter the product code that Microsoft says my OS was OEM and I need to contact the manufacturer.

In this case, you can click on the following link and the "Chat with us" option allows to contact Acer support for assistance:
http://store.Acer.com/store/aceramer/en_US/eRecovery

Hope this will help you.

He has hammered my HARD drive in a State of porridge, and I couldn't ride of it prior to my drive HARD to shake apart. I had another machine Acer I stopped using Windows xp Home on it so I figured what the heck... same as the same size. Well, I managed to do a recovery on it and it worked gr8 for awhile and I had the reserved question to win 10 to come now don't you know I managed to be affected by any work Drivede else than IE? already tried Hiren boot CD and miniXP?

    Download boot from Hiren's cd
    http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

You must create a media bootable CD or USB pen from the .iso image file in the downloaded .zip file.
    start by selecting Mini XP

    Once booted using command prompt:
then inside the cmd window, type
    DiskPart
    then, type diskpart
    list disk
take note of the correct disc ID to clear
    type
    Select disk x

    type

    Download the .iso file
then use a software to burn CD/DVD or USB flash drive and burn the .iso file
Once completed, put the CD/DVD/USB on your PC, boot from CD/USB (maybe you need to start under the legacy if you have the UEFI BIOS)
Press F12 on startup and choose the CD or USB

  • Compatibility of tape PowerVault 124 t.?

It's maybe a stupid question, but I couldn't find any information about it on the internet. Tried to look for an array of media compatibility but it shows only turns out Dell strips with the types of bands (with a few broken links). HP media: the site also lists PowerVault 124 t. as supported.

Here's the question. The tape drive takes strips of different brand like HP, IBM, as long as the type (3 LTO, LTO 4, etc.) is supported by the PowerVault?

Yes, the media are standard across the range. He just brands and prices.

  • an av playing on a windows pc

HI - can someone tell me if this is possible.  I created an Audio/visual presentation to our camera Club, but they have to play on a windows pc.  I tried, but it will not work, is it possible to do this please?  The file has been created using opening.

    Thank you very much

    Sandra

Most computers have Quicktime compatibility.  If you can export the file to the Quicktime format that works.

You'll want to ask the club to the camera so they Quicktime Player on their PC.  They can download it from Apple if they don't have it.

http://www.Flip4Mac.com/ offers Windows Media compatibility as well.   I don't know if it will export from Aperture functions add Windows Media or not.

Since you created it in Aperture, I'd say to post the question to the

    Opening Forum.

Alternatively, you can carefully Pack your iMac and present live video of your iMac.    You will need to know if the projector supports HDMI or DVI or S-Video.  Apple offers connectors to each of your iMac. EveryMac contains links to each of your spec iMac then you can know what are the ports you have:

    iMac "Core i5" 3.4 27 inches (end 2013)3.4 GHz Core i5 (I5-4670)

    iMac "Core i7" 3.5 27 inches (end 2013)3.5 GHz Core i7 (I7-4771)

When I install the Bluetooth Suite (two links, either one after the other), I see a link "More Bluetooth" in "All programs", which opens just a blank window with the possibility to add devices. I can't found, because BT is not running.

By pressing Fn + F3, as suggested in another thread here, turns only WiFi on and outside, not BT

A I forgot to install an application or driver? Or some other required is missing software? I have. NET4.5 and MS VC ++ 2005 installed.

Or my model, similar as the one in this thread to arcived not has the capabilities of BT at all? My device settings think otherwise, however.

    Thank you for your help.

What is reasonable too, like some sounds and some did not. You can order the Acer erecovery media for a nominal cost that is specific to your system, which should receive all installed devices initially up to-and-operational unless they have been somewhat damaged.

  • Questions about Acer Recovery (long story, simple question)

    Hey there,

I recently came across a pretty annoying problem with my Acer Aspire 7560 notebook computer G. First of all, I hope this is the right section to ask the question on this model in particular, if this not is not please forgive me. In addition, for TL; DR scroll all the way down.

The issue I had was that programs would fail / refuse to start. Zune opening, steam or even just try to open a picture in Windows Photo Viewer either did nothing at all, or the program would look like it began only to then disappear completely (sometimes, but not often, accompanied by an error message saying that the program has stopped working). The laptop still start well, I can browse my directories, internet access, run certain programs, but not others (kkkkk emulator Android works very well, for example). I decided that the best thing for me to do was reset to the factory. Boy I was wrong.

I backed up all my personal files on an external hard drive, so the laptop is ready to be reset. First problem I encountered was that do anything during startup caused me a BIOS password. I did not create one, so it must be the default, and it wasn't really all that difficult to get rid (I used a bootable USB key with clnpwd, just follow the instructions). Then I entered the BIOS, but whenever I get alt + f10 to work and load the Recovery Manager, invites a message indicating that I have to wait for the operating system to load. After that start the laptop, and nothing changes.

I discovered that I probably haven't installed Acer eRecovery utility, because I had to replace a HARD drive defective just now. If at this point, I tried to not get these files to http://us-store.acer.com/erecovery/rcd/ no chance. When you enter SNID or show, it always returns "we have found the serial number entered. Uppercase or lowercase do not make a difference. I'm sure that number I entered is correct, however, because when I use it to search in http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers it is my laptop model immediately. So, what gives? I'm not sure.

If I can't get the support of Acer recovery soon, I might have to resort to completely reinstall my OS (Windows 7 Home Premium) for the device. Problem is that I don't have a disk for it. I thought to download an ISO and that copy on a bootable USB key, so I went Microsoft Web https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 site I found the product key with a simple .vbs file, but alas, because the OS came preinstalled, which won't help me. At this point, I'm getting impossible to reacquire the Acer recovery as well as Microsoft methods. If this doesn't help, I might have to resort to some Windows 7 disc torrent download, but I'm not too happy with this prospect for obvious reasons. I don't even know if I could activate my product code, and I don't trust those "cracks".

    THUS,.

My question is: how to acquire Acer eRecovery media when they tell me "we have found the serial number entered. If that proved impossible, you know safely to reinstall my OS using my product key?

Thanks in advance, I hope I can get this mess sorted out.

Customer support was no help, in the end, they just referred me to a local retailer and gave me an estimate on the time and money it would take to get things resolved. Too long and too expensive, but that's just my opinion. I'll just go come and clean install my OS.

Found this mirror which has the ISO files archived: http://mirror.corenoc.de/digitalrivercontent.net/ I'll check the SHA-1 checksum, just to be sure, but they must be perfectly clean. With Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool?wa=wsignin1.0), I can create a bootable USB key, and after that, it's going to be all simply a matter of following the instructions.

A little muffed that I couldn't have this problem solved, but hey, I was counting on the factory reset anyway. I will get rid of all the bloatware and possible malware in a single shot in this way, then everything that works, right?

I downloaded everything from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/drivers to my device (because, my SNID worked) for additional safety. ISO file is almost finished downloading, I'll probably do a last post here when all is set and done. That way, if anyone ever find this thread, they know that what might work.

Thanks for your efforts, but alas, they were of no use.

  • has had to do a reset of the W10, lost all OEM software

Reset which resulted in losing all OEM software provided with the laptop, I was wondering if there is somewhere that software and programs can be recovered.  Aspire E 17 ES - 771 g-52PR

Lost all the Cyberlink software, as well as all utility provided Acer.

I know that you are not wanting to go back to Windows 8. 1 - the information I provided is only for the Applications (ie the OEM software) & drivers (which may be missing after the upgrade).

The FIPS AppDrv disk is your own back up of these applications you can do when you purchased your PC.

The eRecovery media will contain your full operating system (IE Windows 8.1).

  • Recovery disks to restore the recovery Partition, laptop Aspire 7740-5691

If I use the recovery discs (3) and the disk driver and application to re - install Windows 7 on my Acer Aspire 7740-5691 will restore the recovery partition. The recovery partition is 11,72 GB and 100% free space and in good health, according to the information in disk management. I don't know how the recovery partition wiped but the computer is running right now. The discs were made when I bought this computer about 5 years ago. The HDD is 320 GB, the processor is intel quad core i3, ram is 4 GB. Thanks in advance for your comments and information. Oscar1

Acer erecovery media will restore your laptop to factory default, so, Yes, it will restore the original recovery partition too.

  • restore from backup image

    I have an Acer Aspire E1-571-6856, Windows 7 64 - bit, 4 GB RAM, 2.6 ghz core i5, 4000 hd graphics card

I have created a backup of the image using Acer Backup Manager.

There is no option to restore from Acer although backup recovery image.

How can I restore backup images?

I don't think that you can load your restore with Acer erecovery media point, since normally is used to re - install from scratch the BONE.

You must create your own media recovery with the same software that you created in the backup image, which will no doubt help to load the backup image.

  • Confusion of recovery UEFI or legacy

My wife has an Aspire V - 5 431 that exploded a year ago. Not a common model, the model was built for Amazon to distribute to employees, they changed their minds and sold on Woot. I bought two and have been really happy with them.

The machine came with Win 8 on it and has been a lot of work until she killed. She gave it to my friend, instead of saying (argh), difficulty and they put win 7 pro on it. Not what I wanted, but what they were doing. She let the children use it and now it is so infected that I just have to start over from scratch.

I ordered the Acer recovery disks, and now I have a problem.

When I put the system disk and attempts to boot from the disc, the first thing that happens is I get an error recovery process must be run in UEFI mode and the process stops.

I'll and change in Legacy UEFI, repeat the process.

Now I get to the screen to select a language, French, then recovery menu appears asking if I want to reinstall the OS or perform a full reset to factory settings.

No matter which option I choose, I get a message telling me that this process must be run in traditional mode. I am frustrated and perplexed.

It has to do with the OS on the machine is not not the origianl? I don't really know. I consider myself pretty tech savy, but this seems to be above my level. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you, Joe

you need to completely erase your HARD drive
    http://www.partitionwizard.com/Partition-Wizard-bootable-CD.html
    Download the .iso file
then use a software to burn CD/DVD and burn the .iso file
Once completed, put the CD/DVD to your desktop, boot from the CD (maybe you need to start under Legacy)
at the level of the Office
    Select your HARD drive
Right-click on the icon for your HARD disk, and then choose Remove all xxxx and click Yes, and then apply

Original title: recovery Partition not here and not backed up copy of Win8

I have an 18 month, Acer Aspire V5-571pg now out of warranty.  For the last 3 days, of what it has been in a loop bringing repair until this morning disc error messages, it just says "operating system not found '.  A call to Acer support and we have tried to activate the recovery Partition using Alt - F10 but it seems that the partition is not there either, and of course I did not create a recovery disk when I got the laptop.  I was not eager to send the Acer laptop for service after the warranty expires, I thought I should at least attempt of recovery or re - install.  Windows 8 is a preinstalled OEM version.  Where should I start?  Y at - he's going to be a download that I can use and what I need to know a product key to install?  Should I get Acer to send me a recovery disk?  Not super PC here but am knowledge letter wins all the time.  I hope someone understands my situation.  Thank you

You can order the recovery media using your SNID, from the link below. I have an ACER desktop computer, and it cost me less than US$ 20.00, to order an additional series.
