error 53 system produces "net view \\computername.

Tupac Shakur,

I think I see in this case. You try to access your computer from your desktop using thenet view command?

If so, you have about it the wrong way. Net view isonly for access to systems on the same network. NET view would help to me if you try to access another computer on the network in your office, while you were still at work. Itwill not work across the internet to access your computer at home.

What I think you're looking for is a remote access solution. There are 2 ways to go about this: sync a folder of files between systems or newspaper in your system and remote control. The response to these two solutions becomes Windows Live Mesh.

Take a look at the following links and see if they make you what you are looking for:

If so, download Windows Live Mesh from here:

Windows Live Mesh 2011

I hope that's what you're looking for!

  • The endangered network devices / system 58 with Net View error - something "randomly" seems to have occurred to my network 2-3 days ago

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a Toshiba laptop computer on a network that also has a Synology Diskstation 710 +. There are other Windows 7 machines that continue to work perfectly with the NAS. My LAN is only small, so I run a working group called "WILF" owned computers and NAS.

Until 2 days ago, everything worked perfectly and had been stable since the SIN happened more than six months ago. Then:
-J' noticed that he was missing the NAS drive (which normally appears as "DISKSTATION" under "Network" in Windows Explorer).
-Backup software was still able to access the drive normally.
-I could manually create a connection to the drive in Windows Explorer by typing "\\DISKSTATION" into the address bar, which worked well.
-Of course, I could ping the device, and I have confirmed that it is correctly in the my network router routing table. It has a static IP address in a reserved area.
-L' other computer normally on the same LAN is a workstation running the same version of Windows, no problem.
To try to find flaws, I went in the command and ran 'Net View'. The spokesperson system:
    "58 system error has occurred."
I used the other workstation to confirm no problem with a network browser (in fact when writing the workstation is the master proposed stand-alone browser).
Review of other forums, I saw references to Group Policy editing, etc. But (a) I already have pretty much everything these game settings they describe, but more to the point (b) I am a firm believer that computers do not start at random to behave differently, everything that happens all of a sudden started - network settings, group policy, IP addresses, the names of devices etc... None of this has changed. I find myself thinking that there cannot be a settings issue given that the parameters have been very well three days ago. However, there no obvious "triggering event" visible to me - so I wonder if a recent Microsoft patch (for example, a security patch) that auto-updated itself on my system has caused this.
Any thoughts? Clearly, something went wrong, and I think even that relative layman I have to assume that low level network commands are not working is probably related to the fact that I can't see certain features in the Windows Explorer window.
    Help appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hello

The computer is connected to a workgroup?

There are scenarios when a computer is connected to a working group and the name of the specific computer that has an operating system is not the same as that of other computers. Here is a link for example:

Refer to the suggestions for Ztruker , posted August 27, 2009:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/Windows/en-us/77ead57a-A3F7-4E07-9e66-2ee2abb34d97/win-7-network-browser-not-seeing-other-XP-Pro-systems?Forum=w7itpronetworking

You can also try turning off Firewall network and software security Norton temporarily, once you enable an Internet firewall, you may not able to find, or "Browse," to other computers on your home network or office, and you will not be able to share files with other computers on the network of Home Office r justify.

Important note: Security software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • System table or view in oracle to contain the error message

    Hello

I created a group Materialized View Refresh. and execution in a single schema.

    Start
    DBMS_REFRESH. Refresh ('TEST');
    end.

There is a lot of reason for the failure of execution of the Group MV refresh (such as network, change of base table problem). At the time of the failure of execution of oracle to refresh group displays an error code and error message.

    Question: -.
Could pelase propose you any system table or view in the oracle database that can contain any error message and error number? I have to get this error without exception handling in pl/sql block.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Vinod Gupta.

As I mentioned, there are exceptions that you can't intercept. If this work of dbms_refresh.refresh ('TEST'); results in an exception fatal server (usually an ORA-600 or an error ORA-07445 ), you can not only catch a PL/SQL block exception. All you will see (if you have a client session), is the "+ ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel +" error.

Yes, you can catch a number of other exceptions. And Yes, you can write these exceptions to the errorlog table.

Create a package error log that makes the insertion in the errorlog table. Use an autonomous transaction because it allows the error log to insert without making all existing transactions.

Also record all PL/SQL of the error stack trace, because it helps to determine where the exception occurred. Something like dbms_utility.format_call_stack allows to get the call stack and insert this result in the error log line in the error log table.

Then call this package since the exception handler for the refresh job.

But before you do, you need to consider whether or not you remove this exception or not. If you do, then Oracle work process does not see this exception and think that the work has been a success. It you do not have, the process will be the exception, to realize the task failed and reported that employment for re-delivery.

So basically, your refresh job will look something like this:

    begin
      dbms_refresh.refresh ('TEST');

    exception when OTHERS then
-- the package will record the actual SQLCODE error and call stack
      errorLog.saveException( appErrorMessage => 'Refresh job for TEST failed' );

-- we want the job processor to see the error and reschedule the job for execution
      raise;
    end;

  • CMD 'net view' to show the other operating systems.

Is there a cmd command similar to "net view" except it shows computers/devices linux, mac, ios and anroid?
When I type "net view" in CMD in my computer windows 7, it only shows the computer name of windows 7 my mother, not my portable linux or my ipod that are also connected to the same network.

    Hi, Nathan Barrett,

    You use the command correctly?

    net view \.

    Or

    net view/Workgroup:

    Or

    net view/all

    net view

Returns the computers in the network or the current domain. This list shows only computers that have file and printer sharing enabled.

    net view /all

shows all available actions, including administrative shares like C$ and admin$

    net view /domain:contoso.com

lists all computers sharing in the contoso.com domain

    net view /all /domain

shows all shares (ordinary and administrative) in the field

That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:

Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):

Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.
Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary).

And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:
Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):

    1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

(You need to install IE8 AFTER SP3! Trust in me.)

    IMPORTANT NOTE!

It is VERY important to ensure that Internet Explorer is at the level IE6 before installing SP3. In case you have IE7 or IE8, you must uninstall it / them, using the Control Panel Add / Remove programs. Let us know if you need assistance with this.

    Once again:

Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.

    2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

4 set up a clean boot. The last thing you need is for a program that runs in the background to interfere with these updates! (It happens!) For more information:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

(Note that this is the same as setting up a "Diagnostic boot.")

    Reset.

5 install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

6 switch to IE8. Restart TWICE.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

7 unscrew the clean boot. (That is, return to the Normal startup).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

Start | Control Panel | Security Center

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

10 re - enable automatic updates.

  • Errors and warnings in Event Viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.

I receive a number of warning and an error message in the event viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.  Is there a way to fix this or fix another way?

Here are some notes on the event viewer reports that can help you. When you have a lot of mistakes, you need to focus on system errors and warnings, even if it's the applications that are giving you grief. Problems with the first sorting system can do the easier application problems. Note the time that the computer is started last and deal first with those at the beginning of the boot. Correct previous errors can be solved later.

    1. normally, when an error occurs on your computer looking in Event Viewer should be your starting point to find a solution. More related system errors are recorded and get an exact copy of the relevant report is important. Unfortunately, is not easy to understand reports and most of the users computer need help with their interpretation. I have to say later interpretation.

2 Event Viewer includes four major newspapers in Windows. These are application, security and system with Applications and Service logs as a source more details... For purposes of troubleshooting system is by far the most important.

    3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. Place the cursor on the system, right click and select filter current log. Check the front of the error and click OK and see you only reports errors. Click the Date and time column header to sort. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

    4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Click the button copy on the general tab allows you to place a copy in the Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste it into the body of the message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

    5. He cautioned against three types of reports, information, and reports errors. In most situations, it is the error reports that offer the best information but sometimes WARNING reports provide useful clues.

    6. all reports have stamps date and hour and when troubleshooting, it is important to focus on the latest reports. Reports of studies from the point when the computer is started, and then check if a similar report appeared in the previous session. If errors do not repeat investigation as to why they happen is wasted effort.

    7. in the individual reports the most important information is the event ID and Source such as these help when looking for help on the internet. The description is just as important and copy the exact text to use as search criteria greatly helps achieve better results when using Google. Not paraphrase descriptions when other people asking for help.

    8. for Vista and Windows 7 Google is the best source of information. Search for selected text in the Description part of the report (not of the particular words of phrases) that "this exact word or phrase" Gets the best results. Focus on Social Technet and Microsoft Answers reports in the last 12 months. Look elsewhere if a response is difficult to find.
