Error handling... Users or roles?

Hi all

I'll put in place the management of errors for the AIA. The instructions State the following:

To create user error management roles:

+ 1. Access the Console of Administration Oracle WebLogic Server: http:// < host >: < port > / console. +.

+ 2. In the domain Structure menu, click Security Realms. +

+ 3. In the areas of Security Summary page, select myrealm. +

+ 4. On the settings page for myrealm, select the users and groups. +

+ 5. Select the users tab. +

+ 6. Create and modify user roles for use with the error handling framework. Error handling the notification and task list functionality to work as expected, make sure that you not use groups and user roles. +

If I am on the 'Users' page, then I create users roles. If I were to create a role, then I would go to the tab of "Kingdom of roles." That's when we create user accounts that represent roles? I'm confused.

See you soon

Roles in 10g are now users in 11g. Even the terms document this role, but it's user. I also found these rarely documented.
Oracle must document its share AIA ErrHandling elabolated more

This could be something hint: How to use roles to send e-mail Notification to multiple in 11 g users

The area has been configured using the application server platform psadmin.  UserId, UserPswd, ConnectID and ConnectPswd had been entered and verified.  Passwords have been encrypted by the suite.

The psoprdefn table showed correct SYMBOLICID uppercase and ACCTLOCK is zero on behalf of PXXXXX.

Why app server not sign to the Oracle database?

Using the pscfg.exe, Manager of the Windows client configuration utility, I selected the 5 first checkboxes dialog SQL Trace on the left side of the tab of the Trace, I entered the name and location of the trace people tools to create and store the output of client sessions on the same tab.  Then tried another connection to the database, using the pside.exe utility.  The text resulting in the newly created text file showed the last executed statement was a select on the table psdbowner.  I removed my trace entries using pscfg.exe to stop tracing.

Using the information provided by the last executed statement, I ran a request and discovered that the length (dbname) for the value of the column in the psdbowner table was one character longer than the expected value.

After update the column value by removing the end interval, the utility psadmin on the server worked without error.

  • Error handling and the basic flow data

    Hello

I'm learning the basic error data and flow management. The seal is a simple VI to implement this.

How do I implement this code to display an error.

    Thank you.

You must assign a value of your choice for the cluster of error - in errors generated by the LabVIEW functions, error is already assigned/etc, but to find user customized errors, the user must assign values.  Just make sure you do not use the same error values that LabVIEW uses for predefined errors. If you do a search for error codes, you will be able to find this error varies from code - so pick something that is not already used.

And Yes - using an error handler would be a simple way to accomplish what you're trying to do. This error handler will appear a message error only if your feature will remain smooth.

I have a section of my site assigned to be a "Error Handler", but when a user is brought to this page, the status code is a 200. As you can imagine, this has the potential to cause a lot of problems for processes that are based on work status codes.

I found the following solution on another site, indicating to put that code Idoc Script at the top of the Page Template:

    <!-$setValue ("#local", "ssChangeHTTPHeader", "true") - >

Unfortunately, doing the above does not work. Am I missing something?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Josh

I'm sure there's an easy solution here, but I can't find it on my box.

Using Apache as a front end? They you could use mod_rewrite to redirect to a 404 page if a specific header exists in the answer. If you could put this on your error page:

And then you have this in your Apache config file:

    RewriteCond% {HTTP:HTTP_FOUR_OH_FOURED}

    RewriteRule. * /not/ - found.htm [R = 404, L]

    More available here:

    mod_rewrite - Apache HTTP Version 2.4 Server

  • Error: The user is not synchronized in the LDAP directory.

    Hello

I have observed that the users imported via the load utility to bulk IOM does not get incorporated into the OID (as the configuration via LDAPSync). Additionally, when you try to change a users in the identity Console give me the following error message:

IAM-2050243: process Orchestration with id 5436, failed with the IAM-3010059 error message: change failed because the user TSEMMENS is not synchronized with the LDAP directory.

I need a manual task for this? or is it a mistake?

    Thank you

    Hello

Because users are not present OID, so during change it will throw the error.

    Try running the following Scheduler:

LDAPSync Post allow provision users to LDAP

E.7 Provisioning of users and roles created before enabling the LDAP LDAP synchronization

If you create users and roles in Oracle Identity Manager deployment without LDAP synchronization and decide later activate the LDAP synchronization, then the users and roles created prior to activation of the LDAP synchronization must be synchronized with LDAP after activation. The commissioning of the users, roles, the role memberships and hierarchy, role of LDAP is obtained by these regular positions predefined LDAP:

    • LDAPSync Post allow provision users to LDAP
    • LDAPSync Post Enable provision roles to LDAP
    • LDAPSync Post Enable provision of roles for LDAP group memberships
    • LDAPSync Post Select available role hierarchy in LDAP

Allowing a LDAP synchronization in Oracle Identity Manager - 11g Release 2 (11.1.2.2.0)

We'll see if it creates the entry in OID.

Any ideas why I get this error in 12 c?

    Hello

Its new, so I think that you must first create the PDB (plugable DB), then you can create user as part of the PDB not covered by the CBD (DB container),

  • BI Apps 11.1.1.7: Regional coordinating unit failed to create DEV_DW user or role

    Hello

I install the Oracle BI Applications 11.1.1.7 on Linux OS. While running the utility BI Apps RCU, after you select the components of Oracle BI Application and tablespaces and clicking Next, I get an error message: ORA-01917: user or role DEV_DW does not exist. I would like to mention that the dmp files have been copied to a globally accessible folder writable on the machine hosting the database server. Anyone faced with a similar question? Please let me know a workaround.

    Best regards
    Karamba.

The database version is not a problem. We need to make it sufficient disk space to accommodate the set tablespace size. The error message is misleading, but then on checking space, disk and allocation of the smaller sizes for tablespaces the problem has been resolved.

  • upgrade from 3.2 to 4.1 - error handling for the unavailable database links

    Hello

I have a 3.2-> upgrade problem 4.1 associated with error handling for the damaged database links.

I have a conditional button Exists on a page that contains a SQL query to related tables. However, for 10 minutes every day where the target of the link database becomes a cold backup, the query fails. In the apex 3.2 old, I just had an error within the region where the button is located but otherwise, the page was still visible:

"Is not valid/not exists condition: ORA-02068: following a serious error of MYDBLINK ORA-01034: ORACLE not available ORA-27101: there is no shared memory realm."

However, in the apex 4.1.0.00.32 I get the following unhandled error and click 'OK' brings me to the edit page when logged in as a developer.

that is, the page cannot run at all so that the links to the database fail to this one area.

    Treatment of error condition.

    Users generally see this:

by clicking on 'OK' takes the user to another page, don't know how the Summit decides that, but not a concern at the moment.

I did a search and read the http://www.inside-oracle-apex.com/apex-4-1-error-handling-improvements-part-1/ page, but the new apex error handling is not clear to me, and I don't know if the apex_error_handling_example provided on this page would be applicable to this situation.

    Hello

It was my fault, I forgot that the code will be compiled on the fly which already fails if the table/view of deletion is not accessible. Nice that you found yourself workaround.

  • What is your strategy to find errors that are not triggered by the WebService error handler?

Is there a way to underride the default functionality of WebService.as? I can't find the source code in the SDK, so I guess that this part of Flex is not Open Source.

I find that the use of Web services there are many errors that potentially happen that I can't capture in the user interface. Alternatively, let me rephrase, I couldn't find a way to capture in the user interface.

For example, the error message "Unable to load the WSDL" following occurs. Now, I could probably design a strategy all about check that the connection is still alive and these, but then I saw the other errors that occur in the WebService base classes that are all asynchronous licensees.

Is it possible to add a default handler than capures these types of errors? (They aren't catches by FaultHandlers).

I can't have a user interface that displays the large white box to end-users with a stack trace. Thank you.

  • Yahoo solution DNS error handler

I tried to go through all the things I could find after searching it upward. Most links, pages (for example, my Bank) and same plugin page is just finish on this DNS sokution yahoo error handler. It happened after the most recent update, and it really bothers me. more than 50% of the time, I have to change to another browser just because of this.

Hello, randomn, you probably have an extension that modifies searchers, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

    Thank you

  • Receive a DNS Solution Yahoo error handler Page and some pages are not displayed

I recently downloaded the Stuffit Expander and since then Firefox has not been the same. I get a DNS Error Handler Solution Yahoo page, when I do a search sometimes. And now, some pages don't display even for me when they should. How can I get rid of this thing of Yahoo (in simple terms please)? Thank you!

You can have an unwanted extension that modifies researchers. Try this:

Disable all non-essential or unrecognized extensions on page modules. Either:

    • Command + shift + a
    • Tools menu > Modules

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off. (Or if it is obviously the badware, delete).

Typically, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Who help me?

Note that when you search from the address bar of Firefox, searches that contain no spaces are checked as possible (e.g., intranet or my.web.server) server names. Most of the servers DNS don't report just "no server" and Firefox bounces the query to Google. However, some DNS servers say Firefox, they found the site and display the search results. This could be what you see. If it is new, maybe your DNS servers have been changed? (Don't know how to check on Mac).

  • find errors returned by the error handler simple vi

When running the application in the development environment and after the application of the error handler code, I found would be Manager of simple errors that VI is a few errors which I do not know where on the block diagram the source code. Is it possible to find it?

    Kind regards

I think I have strength to my self more clear in my post earlier. So here's the explanation:

I have a few variant to the data functions in the while loop of a block diagram. When I now run my code after the implementation of the code of error handler I get errors. One of the ways I could think now to find which variant of function data is wired content type incorrect data is to run the vi Analyzer and find in the report generated by the vi Analyzer.

    Lets see how it goes.
