Error on my HP Officejet 5600 series printer

I have a printer HP Officejet 5600. I was in the middle of printing the other day when my laptop shut down - so now the printer does not print
Is not given an error code - just says error printing only - printer does not display an error - just in printing Q
That's what I did as well as disconnected everything on the printer - what can I do?

You may have an incomplete print job.  Go to control panel, printers.  Double-click the printer in question and delete all print jobs that are there.

If this does not work, restart your router and your printer (I assume that you are connected via a router since you are posting in this forum).

  • HP Officejet 4630 series: printing error

    Hello

My printer was fine until 'Windows10 update 1607' has been downloaded on my desk a few days ago. Now every time I try to print anything for my computer. Status reports "error-printing".  I ran the trouble shooter print a test page, I printed a report of diagnosis of HP print and Scan doctor. Everything seems fine, but it always brings a printing error. So now I'm re-printing a document, it now says "printing" on the device, but it feels very, very slow, 10 minutes and it's still printing the first page. What can I do to fix this?

Your help in this matter is much appreciated!

Welcome to the community @BeeAnn HP

I saw your post on the slow printing problem and wanted to do some of my own suggestions.

    You can try the following:

1 reset the printer, then restart the computer. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet.

    Turn on the printer.

With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

    Wait at least 15 seconds.

Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.

If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

2 run printing scanning and Dr.

3 try to make copies to see if they are too slow. If they are, then it's showing us that there is a problem with the hardware with the printer.

    4. Uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and software.

Let me know how make you out!

Can I print using my HP Officejet 5600. When I open the Solutions Center to scan or another function, it displays a printer I use not i.e. HP Officejet 5600 Series Fax. Please tell us how to change the setting for HP Officejet 5600 so that I can scan.  In the control panel to the correct printer is online and designated as the default.

Hi there @Shirlene888 , welcome to the forums!

I saw your post on your Solution Center showing that the fax driver and that you can not scan.

I would say first of all that is running the print and scan doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all the conflicts that could be the cause of the problem and try to fix them. Then try to scan and if the tool has problems, made me know what they are in your response.

If the diagnostic tool has not fixed the issue scan, try to completely uninstall the printer software, restart the computer to complete uninstallation, then download and install the complete driver under the following link. You will need to select the mode of "5600" you have in the list: drivers & software

  • OfficeJet 4630 cannot print from Word 2013

    Hello!

I bought a printer all-in-one Officejet 4630 a few months ago, and all went well until a few days ago: all of a sudden, I was unable to print Word files (2013), or Notepad files ("the parameter is incorrect" message).

Printing of PDF files and anything from the Web works fine.

I did not make any significant changes to my computer or a printer.

I am running Windows 8.1 on a HP Pavilion laptop.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer several times.

I ran printing HP and doctor Scan, and it tells me to reinstall the device software, what I do, without result.

I checked each forum help on the subject.

    Hey @LadySteph12,

I understand that you get the error message "the parameter is incorrect" when you try to print Word and Notepad on your computer Windows 8.1 to your HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to work with you today with the resolution of this problem. At this point, it is not a conflict of driver on your Windows computer.

    Step 1: Uninstall the drivers:

In order to solve this problem, I will need you to have a nice clean slate to work with. So, I'll have you uninstall the drivers for your printer. To do this properly please follow the steps below.

    2. Once your start screen is open, simply type programs and features

    4. Once the list of programs fills in the program programs and features, scroll down until you see 4630 Officejet full series or the base driver package and Uninstall it.
    5. Once your bundle of software and the printer driver is deleted, go to the next step.

Step 2: Delete the Temp folder:

    1. Open your Start screen again by clicking the Windows button on the lower left corner of your screen or by selecting the Windows key on your keyboard to the right of the Ctrl key.
    2. Under your start screen, type run. Click Run to open it.
    3. In the run box, type %temp% , and then click OK
    4. In the Temp folder, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard to select everything in the folder. Select "delete" on your keyboard. No files and folders on your computer will be deleted. This only deletes temporary files. If a file is always be used by a program on your keyboard will rise pop to 'jump' the item.
    5. Once your temporary files are deleted, close the Temp folder.
    6. On your desktop, right-click on the recycling bin and left, click "empty recycle bin"

    Step 3: Reinstall the drivers:

    1. Please select the following link to download the appropriate drivers for your printer again: e-all-in-one HP Officejet 4630 Printer series full feature software and drivers
    2. Once downloaded, let the installation program to run
