Error printer HP PSC 1315

I recently started work on a Dell Windows 7 computer, and it seems that there is some kind of problem (error 0X000000c1) with the printer drivers for the HP PSC 1315 all-in-one that occurred after the installation of MS Office 2010.  The scanner still works fine, so I know this isn't a problem with the USB connection to the computer, but whenever I try to print a test page, this is the error that is displayed.  I tried to reinstall the most recent drivers and nothing seems to work, nor was I able to find anything online for this error.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Zig, for your very useful and informative answer.  I was actually able to understand it on my own, but only for the benefit of other readers, I'll post below how I did it.

-Open the menu START, right-click on "Computer" and select 'manage '.
-Expand the "Services and Applications" tab, select "Services".
-Scroll down to "Print spooler", then double-click on it to open properties of spooler.
-Open the "Dependencies" tab to see what specific components that need to be enabled for printer to work properly.
-Locate each of these components in Services' and either activate or restart the service.
-Close the window, restart the computer and voila, the printer worked once more.

  • Is it possible to set up in windows 7 for my printer HP psc 1315 all in one...?

.. .or is not possible, and it is best to think about to buy a new printer!

I was wasting far too much time trying to set up many "good drivers" for this device and will never work ok

My question is simple: "there is a device that works well with HP psc 1315 all-in-one Windows seven?

    Thanks in advance ;-)

    Peter

IF this is your printer/scanner - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4062&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=374568#N223 then there are drivers W7 32 and 64 bit available for this purpose.

Everything on the PC concerned with your HP printer uninstall, restart the PC, then download and use the appropriate driver (W7 - 32 or 64 bit depending upon need) and see what happens then.

Whatever it is, as its apparently supported, you're probably better asking HP if you did not already.

I recently got a new PC with windows 7... I downloaded the driver for my printer (HP PSC 1315) of the HP site, but my PC does not answer with my printer.

In the HP Solution Center it recognises my printer and shows that it is plugged in and on, but in "Devices and printers" represents a yellow mark at the printer.

-uninstalling and reinstalling the driver from hp and corrective software and more recently

The only way to do a scan now is directly with the windows software.

Hello, I read the proposed guide, I'm in the first case, all versions of Flash are updates, 12,0,0,77.
According to the guide, I have only to reinstall Hp software but I just did.

I also ran the patch that you set (and rebooted) but nothing is changed.

    Edit:

I am remembered that some time ago I increased the font size in windows (DPI resolution of 100% to 119%).
Now, I tried to get back to 100% and now the HP software works well.

At this point, I changed to new resolution to 119%, and however it works well.

  • Cannot print/connection of Windows 7 for shared PSC 1315 on the XP Machine

I have a HP PSC 1315, connected to a computer running Windows XP (32 bit).  This printer is shared.  I can access it from other XP machines on my home network.  I can't access it from my computer Windows 7 (64-bit).  I can see the printer is shared on the computer, but when I double click on it, I get the following error:

"Windows can't find a driver for hp PSC 1310 series on the network."  To locate one manually, click on OK.  Otherwise, click Cancel and consult your network administrator or the printer manufacturer's Web site. »

Then I tried to download the driver Windows 7 (64 bit) of HP and installed on my Windows 7 machine:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-75052-1&LC=en&DLC=en&cc=CA&...

At the end of the installation, it asks to connect the printer to the computer via USB.  Because I'm not physically the printer connected to the Windows 7 computer, I check the box that says I can't login now and go forward at the end.

Then I tried to connect to the printer and I get the same error.  I try to locate a driver manually.  I point to c:\windows\inf\ without success (I am * if * the driver info might settle there, but I don't know what the name of .inf).  Windows says that it cannot find an appropriate driver.  Maybe I should be looking elsewhere?

I found some troubleshooters on the HP website, but it does not give "shared printer on a network" as one of the schemes to solve connection problems.

I'm a little confused on this one.  Hoping that there will be something simple, I missed.

    Thank you!

Here's a good explanation of how to share a printer from an XP PC to Windows 7 PC on a network home.  It should work since Windows 7 (64-bit) PC can see the partition Windows XP 32-bit.  What you missed was the type of port to use for the network connection.

  • hp psc 1315 all-in-one printer has a memory/hard disk?

I want to have a printer all-in-one hp psc 1315. is there a hard drive than the personal information?

    Hello

With a few exceptions, most of the printers have not memory to hold the print jobs (which are not cleared by simply turning off the printer).  The only thing that can be stored in some printers (with fax capacity) is telephone numbers in the fax log.  I don't think that the PSC 1315 has a fax, but if you really want, you can do a hard reset I think that you can unplug the printer from its power source and by holding the power and Cancel buttons down.  You may see a flashing of the lights. That should do it!

  • How to stop a test print page whenever the HP psc 1315 printer is turned on?

Everytime I turn on my HP PSC 1315 printer automatically prints a test page.  How can I turn this off?  At the same time, I was able to print or copy without a first printing test page.

I also have Windows 7 ultimate installed with a HP PSC 1310.

He kept printing an alignment at each start page, so I downloaded and installed the installer of HP PSC 1315 all in one series printer:

    Link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-75052-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=374568&sw_lang=

This download works for the 1300 series.

I ran the printer align cartridge utility, page printed, put in the scanner and used the button "scan" as the 'OK' button and it solved the problem.

Thanks for the tip of the "scan" button

  • Windows 7 needs. INF file for network HP PSC 1315 printer

I have a HP PSC 1315 all-in-one printer connected to a Vista x 64 laptop. I connected the printer with my desktop Vista x 32 before the end, however, I've recently added a desktop Windows 7 x 32 on the network computer, and I can't add the printer. I installed the drivers from HP for Windows 7 x 32 site, but when I go to add the network printer, it says I need a. INF file. It recognizes the printer, but it wont let me connect or use unless I have that. The driver INF file. I don't see why I need something else, because I have the drivers and software already downloaded. The accompanying CD wouldn't help, either, because he has only XP drivers, and I have even more.

Try the following: go to the folder, devices and printers, add printer, a local printer, create a Port, Local Port, \\Vista64Computer\printername (use the name of the actual share of the computer and the printer), OK, and then click Windows Update, and then select HP PSC 1310 series.

  • PSC 1315 all-in-one: paper jam

My wife was going to print something from our computer and the printer took several leaves inside. It jammed so she shot just leaves in the front now, our computer said there is a paper jam and will not print we. I went through all the steps of the Glade, restarting, etc. that I've read in hp and others who shared their problems. It copies and analyzes very well. The computer tells me that there is a jam. Could have broke us something by pulling the paper to the front?

    Thank you

    Oldfud

    Hi @oldfud

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand your computer continues to tell you that there is a paper jam. I would like to help.

It is possible that something has been damaged. Although it could be a "hiccup" with the software on the computer. You can try running the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This will check the software. If the problem persists, try this document a view of the "Paper jam" error HP PSC 1315, 1315v, 1315xi, s and 1318 1315 all-in - One Printer Series.
