Error printing queue

I am trying to install the printer and the camera software.  When I do that, I get a message saying that the print queue Service does not work and reboot and try again.  It does not work.  I tried to install with the supplied disc and also via the web site of the manufacturers, but get the same message every time.  Help!

First let's make sure that the print spooler service is running.  Go to start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and scrool print spooler and make sure that it is located to automate (set it to automatid if it is not).  If the service is started, and then stop and restart again.  If the service is stopped, then start it.

Are you sure you are using the printer drivers appropriate for devices AND for your version of Vista?  Are you sure that these devices are compatible with Vista.  See Center Compativility of Vista at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/default.aspx.  You may need this cofirm with manufacturers.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you may need to perform these two new devices, even if they came with the drivers on a disc) and all the others you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

Once the drivers are installed and the print spooler service is running, try to reinstall the software.  If it won't install, it is possible that the software is not compatible with Vista.  If so try using the Mode of Compativility http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-compatibility-mode/. and see if that helps.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620:8620 print error printing queue

I got the 8620 printer for several months and it works fine. Yesterday when I tried to print from my HP computer (Windows 7 Professional (64 bit), the print queue indicated "error-printing" for the document.

At first, I couldn't remove the document in the queue but can now. When I try to print, I still get the same error message. I tried to print a Microsoft document, a pdf and e-mail with the same results. The Microsoft document, on the print window, it recognizes the 8620 as default printer and says he's ready.

I downloaded the Scan doctor who says I need more downloaded software - it manages at the end of the download (169 MB 169 MB), but then says "download failed." I've stopped and started the print spooler. I tried to reinstall the software. The documents are not blocked in the queue - just says: "error-printing".

The printer says there is a great wireless connection. My computer sees there is a printer but the print queue still says that there is an error.

I am answering my own post in case it helps someone else.

After trying to downloads, suggestions and all I could find or think, I tried to restore my computer to an earlier time yesterday before the problem started.

Problem solved. The printer is now speaking again to the computer and printing without problem.

  • Want 5640: Error - printing queue

My husband and I want to 5640 each. Both are connected to the network and until tonight, all two worked very well on my PC.

To start I got the printer off-line message with mine but could still print using machine of my husband. I removed my in Device Manager but then found I couldn't add new and got the message "driver is unavailable," Although it is able to print using the machine of my husband.

I used the HP support tool and reinstalled everything to do with my printer and it is now finally showing in device as manager being available. However, when I try to print I get a message from Windows 10 that the printer cannot print and in the queue, it shows a "print - error" message. There is no error message on the printer itself.

The HP troubleshooter cannot find what is wrong.

All the time I can still print using printer to my husband.

  • HP Deskjet 810C error printing queue.

    Hello

    I have a HP 810C printer.

    I run SP3, XP - Pro.

All the settings are correct in the properties and the Advanced button.  I print in B & W, no color.

I have problems with the print job is one involving 270 pages. Some of this work was made on another printer.

When you start this task, there is a requirement of the range necessary page for - page 48 to 60 [included].

For some reason, the printer starts on page 44 and goes to the rear... 43, 42, etc every time. He will not shake this number

I have "removed" the printer to printers & faxes and did a 'clean' as such with the drivers install, etc..

I tried closing the printer down, unplug all cables and leaving it alone for a time, and then reconnect the usb with the printer [according to the instructions [?]]

I am able to print one page at a time with any problem.

    .. don't know what else.

has someone faced this problem before?

    ideas please

    c

big - oh! sorted, rather well and a position back to research
There are pages in the line-up of document that do not appear in the "numbers" in the interface of foxit and printer settings/preferences is feared, IE. the installation of the printer. quite confusing when are trying to sort them...
Thus, continuous looping I did, it was because of an incalculation on my part. I did not take into account the preface or indeces in the document. gr8 stuff
BTW, the HP 810C printer has this thing where he puts the pages in the order of sense. the first page is the number 1, then 2, but's done it correctly. I mean, when you take pages from the tray paper pages are crammed in the right digital position not as is the case with the modern printer that I use. That you put page 1 on the bottom of the stack of paper. I have nothing at all the settings in preferences, HP, he did it by himself

This problem caused all sorts of problems for me with the other printer [epson], because I couldn't work [some settings were in different parts of the different interfaces - one in the pdf reader and the other in the epson printer monitor-on the HP, it's all in the one place] how to sort how who should go... man, drove me almost crazy .

Anyway, the issue - See FIXED, hoh UM!
Thanks guys, for lettin air me.

    * Original title: printer: error

    Overview:

I have a Dell 560 which has Windows 7 64 bit is installed.  My printer is an old HP Officejet v40xi.  Have had two e connected by a USB cable for 3 years.

I ran out of ink.  I had not been printing a lot, so I did not fill the cartridges for several weeks.  I had a bright idea to reinstall the printer software for the printing/tool box I used on another computer.  I wanted to do a scan.

  • Laser HP jet 4 p using windows vista out errors in the print queue

I have a hp jet 4 p laser. I'm trying to use it on windows vista. It is attached with a usb cable to serial port. I have the printer installed and vista now sees the printer. When I submit a test page, it appears in the print queue but - mistake.

Have you installed the Vista drivers? If this isn't the case, you should do this. Bring:

HP Support & drivers - go to the site Web and download/install the drivers and utilities for your HP operating system. Be sure to choose the drivers 32 or 64-bit according to the case.

  • HP Envy 4500: Print jobs disappear from the print queue and not print (Windows 7).

I just bought a HP Envy 4500 printer,

When you attempt to print from a PC with windows 7 OS home pro (64-bit), the print job appears in the queue and then disappears, but the printer does not print anything.

Everything else seems to work very well know

    • The printer prints the internal test page
    • The printer does print when you use iPad2
    • The printer does print when you use ePrint
    • The PC recognizes and communicates with the printer (tried with USB connections and wireless)
    • Analysis feature works very well - when initiated from the PC and printer

    I tried

    • uninstalling and reinstalling the software (several times using software from different sources)
    • restart the printer queue service
    • Disabling the firewall
    • running printing HP and doctor Scan
    • following the instructions described here (the question is the same but the different operating system):

Print jobs disappear from the print queue and print (Windows 8)

    • combinations of all of the above

Absolutely no joy in any of them, and in spite of more than 2 hours of research on Google and forums search I can't find a solution.

HP... can you give me a solution or is that goes back to the shop?

Well I finally worked on the fix myself by trial and error.  I changed the security settings for 'All' and 'Creator owner' to 'Print' and "Administer Documents".  Why on earth they were not automatically allowed as part of the installation, I couldn't really say.

Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.

  • HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615: Printer is deleted when delete print queue of the printer in Win8.1

I right click the "Delete the print queue" option in "devices and printers". Who deleted the default printer and also removed the icon of the printer. The system then made the fax printer HP 4610 series the default printer. I re - install from the web HP printer drivers, but the HP 4615 icon does not appear with the other printing devices in "devices and printers". In each application, I need to select the HP4615 now that the printer before I can print. If I click on "Add a device" or "add a printer", the HP 4615 is not picked up. If I select "printer queue", then it shows the HP series fax and printer HP4615. How can I get the system to display the HP 4615 icon so that I can make my default printer?

    @Pietcar,

I hope you're well and welcome to the community of HP

I read on how you had removed the icon of the printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615 of devices and printers and since then have tried to reinstall the printer, which does not have the icon back to the printers and devices section, leaving you to not be able to select the 4615 as default printer.

Here are my suggestions, starting with:

    1. run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Let me know what the results detected please. (Select difficulty printing when you run the PSDr)

    2. run the HP printer install Windows Wizard to find and install the driver "Full Feature" printers and software and go through the installation to see if there are errors or if the installation fails at any point.

Check the devices and printers again to see if the printer icon appears. Also try to restart the PC to see if that helps.

Please keep me informed of the result!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8630: Test Print "error - printing".

    Hello

I have problems printing in the main printer in my office, the HP Officejet Pro 8630. Some work colleagues print to this printer without problem, and others have gave up on it as well. I have no printing problem with HP Officejet Pro 8600 to an office close to home.

I have finally connected to this printer manually, using its IP address, because it does not appear in the search "add a printer". When I try to do a test print, in the print queue of the printer window, it shows its status as 'Impression' for a brief moment before changing to "error - printing".

Honestly I don't know what else to do without disturbing the few people who are successfully using this printer. I hate my work colleague whenever I need to use their printer bug.
