Error running Microsoft Fix - It

Hello! I am trying to run the Microsoft Fix - It because my CD player has a lot of trouble, CD playback.

The problem is, I get this message: ' Fix it troubleshooting cannot continue because there is an error produced... we are sorry, but the diagnostic solution encountered a runtime error. " Please try again. »

Is anyway to fix the Fix - it? Thank you!

Hello

It could just be that your download was corrupted. Delete and redownload the fix - it ('save', not 'run') and run it from your hard drive.

Quite often, trouble reading CD/DVD media is the result of the dust and debris on the lens of the drive and is not a system problem. Running a disk cleaner lens inexpensive can often help.

    Good news is THAT MSE is showing protection is enabled and given that you do not receive notification of Security Center advising the firewall is not enabled it can be assumed that it is enabled. Bad news is that I don't have an answer. You have any other real time protection(Avast, AVG, etc.) currently installed? What, if any, previous protection in real time of programs have been installed and they did include a firewall? You made using tools and methods to remove properly uninstall completely?

    Since it is a problem Microsoft Fix it I suggest you consider posting your question in the fix it Center Forum.

    Hello Ronald.

    Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    Significant changes have been made on the computer before this problem?

    A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors could cause you to lose information in the file that you are using, causing errors in the file (corrupt the file) so that you cannot work with it, or prevent you from using a feature.

    Runtime errors can occur if you are running two software programs that aren't compatible, if your computer has memory problems, or if the computer has been infected by malware. As you get "VBScript Runtime error '800A01A8'" on Internet Explorer 11, I suggest that you try following the suggestions provided in the following article and check if it can help solve the problem.

    How to troubleshoot script errors in Internet Explorer

    Hope this information is useful. If the problem persists, I would ask post you to back with the answers to the above questions, so that we can help you further.

  • Error running Microsoft Visual C++ 6030

    I have XP and a Canon PIXMA MX 850 and I use a Dell on WIFI and Office HP laptop and I have the same question at a time when printing.

    After that I feel, I get this error message:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime error
    Program: C:\Windows\System 32: rundll32.exe
    R6030

    Is this something new with your system?

    Given that the message refers to the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library, it would seem wise to start looking here (after of course making sure you have the latest version of the software for your PIX MY MX 850).

    You can look in Add/Remove programs and to see which version of the Microsoft Visual C++ redistribuatable software you have installed.

    Chances are you will not have any more or you have an older version.

    It is also possible to have multiple versions installed because need some software that you install specific versions.

    It found on my system, I have 2005, 2008 and 2010 is installed.

    The current version is Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable and you can get it here (you need to be sure you have XP SP3):
