Error when I configure snapshot controlfile RMAN

Dear Experts,

I have Oracle 11 g R2 DB primary and Standby in two Machines

I have Window Server 2008

I am new to RMAN tools

I do set up RMAN primary side

I made the OS address for a disk primary side

Now I'm RMAN configuration as below:

Configure default device the disk type;

set up the device type disk parallelism 4 type of backup backupset.

CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK to 'Z:\RmanControlFileBackup\cf%F ';

Configure controlfile autobackup on;

Configure controlfile autobackup peripheral type disc format to "+ FRA;

Configure controlfile autobackup format for device type sbt to "backup_ % d_controlfile_ %f."

Configure redundancy 4 retention strategy;

Configure the None archivelog deletion policy;

Configure snapshot controlfile name to 'Z:\RMANCONTROLFILEBACKUP\SNAPSHOT_EPPROD1_CF. CTL';

Next, I get the following error... I don't know how I can delete that I did my research online, I found this link

http://pavelermakov.WordPress.com/2011/11/08/ora-01580-error-creating-control-backup-file/

RUN SYS. DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE. CFILESETSNAPSHOTNAME('/U01/app/Oracle/product/11.2/DB/DBS/snapcf_db1. F') ;

I could not implemented on my setup because I do not have snapcf_db1.f file... Please any help will be appreciated.

anyone with any solution.

I need to erase the last transactional... .configure the controlfile Snap to 'Z:\RMANCONTROLFILEBACKUP\SNAPSHOT_EPPROD1_CF. CTL' name; who make that mistake.

  • Error when generating the snapshot of the Project Office Pro Plus 2007

    I try to Pack Office 2007 Pro more with ThinApp v4.5 and it breaks down during the 'snapshot.exe - GenerateProject' article in the process.  I tried this time using the graphic interface and the command line.

    (error - instant tool has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We're sorry... etc etc")

    I managed to packaging and construction using a virtual machine that has ThinApp v4.04 on it.  I even built the project using the 4.04 and then used 4.5 to package the application.  Realize that this is a failure on the creation of the ThinApp (snapshot.exe C:\Template.ini - GenerateProject C:\MyProjectDirectory) project files, only not on the creation of the package (exe or dat).

    Is there a note out there somewhere that I missed out on the snapshot.exe v4.5 with problems of construction project for Office 2007 files?  I packed several apps on this virtual machine by using the 4.5 version and this is the first time that I had this problem.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you

    Hi Bryan,.

    Sorry for the delay in response. I followed the exact steps mentioned by you, but nothing helped.

    The package is created successfully every time. I tried several times and get the same result every time.

    If I take another shot at this question, I would ask you to try it in a different environment. I mean, it's to try on another computer

    create a virtual machine for XPSP3 and then try it on her. As far as we know, it could be an environmental issue.

  • Agilent E5070B: error when using 'configure calibration VI.

    a mistake came during the communications test LAN to the Analyzer of Agilent E5070B network with the "agena Configuration Application Example.vi".

    It seems to me that there is a bug in "agena Configure Calibration.vi" that is called during the execution of the example of vi.

    In my case, it helped change the string declaration of impedance with the declaration of the decimal point:

    old: :SENS:CORR:IMP %lf
    new: %.;:SENS:CORR:IMP %lf

    Can anyone tell if this problem is really a problem for all users?

    (or only for users with the German country settings because it is obiously a problem with the statement of the decimal point)

    It is probably a very common problem in all the countries that do not use a decimal separator. I know many deselect the option "Use localized comma" instead of rewriting the pilot.

    I can use %d for these two orders with no problems:

    FORMAT 1 CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK MAXOPENFILES ' / var/backup/%d/dumps%d_%T_s%s_p%p.bus';

    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT for DEVICE TYPE DISK TO ' / var/backup/%d/control%F.ctl';

    Then why can't it be used for snapshot controlfile?

    On the snapshot Controlfile: when RMAN must resynchronize the catalog of recovery with a consistent read version of the control file, it creates a TEMPORARY snapshot control file. RMAN needs a snapshot control file when the resynchronization with recovery catalog or before you perform a backup of the current control file.

    Why you should use variables in a temporary file internal?

    RMAN does not have a snapshot unique to each backup file, RMAN automatically overwrites the file if it exists. You can use the same file and location all the time, for example ' / u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/snapcf_dborcl.f'

    If I put the path snapshot controlfile to the db name hardcoded in the path, it works:

    CONFIGURE SNAPSHOT CONTROLFILE NAME TO ' / var/backup/IDB00246/snapcf_%d.f';

    You have this file "snapcf_%d.f" not "snapcf_IDB00246.f" in "/ var/backup/IDB00246 / ', because 'CONFIGURE SNAPSHOT CONTROLFILE NAME' does not support variables.

    You must create a file snapshot controlfile name unique for each database.

    What is the difference between the two?

    It seems that the * supported * the RMAN command line method tries to create the snapshot controlfile while the * not taken in charge * the PLSQL API method does not attempt to do so.

    Who do you prefer to use, one that is taken in charge or one that is not documented, not supported?

  • Error when you try to delete snapshots

    Hello

    I have problems when you try to manually delete snapshots of our ReadyNAS. The error is displayed when it fails is 28004020002. After a search through your forums it seems most of the time you ask newspapers, and then it seems that the problem is solved. So if need be I have newspapers available on request.

    One of the suggestions also says try a defrag on the device and that pops up and displays a different error message: 14007010000. I don't know if that is related, but I have not dug deep in this one I would like to help with the first issue first please

    All comments are greatly appreciated.

    Fixed.

    Please do not restart the system until the balance is over. The balance will take time to complete.

    You can see the progress made in the web administration interface.

    In addition, you can plan a balance to say run every 2-3 weeks.

    'pending snaphsot controlfile enqueue' message and was not able to run the report need backup.
    So my question is rman taking snapshot controlfile to process any backup or in special cases such as synchronisation?

    Hello

    I was running Backup complete level 0 on a single session and when you are connected with the other backup archivelogs tried session

    It can be a normal behavior since you made the simultaneous backup.
    When RMAN needs to backup or re-sync the control file, it first creates a snapshot or a coherent picture of the control file. If RMAN jobs is already backed up the control file while the other one needs to create a new snapshot control file, then you can see this message.

    Your definition of the Windows service uses a different inittest.ora or spfiletest.ora - not the one that you have edited.

  • Error decoder IMAQdx configure enter with the Mono10 Pixel Format

    Hello

    I recently encountered the following problem, so I'm trying to capture images across an iPort CL - U3 Pleora USB3 vision.

    "Error 1074360265 occurred at IMAQdx configure Acquisition.vi.

    Possible reasons:

    NOR-IMAQdx: (Hex 0xBFF69037) no decoder available for the pixel format selected. »

    I always get this error when I switch the 'Pixel Format' to 'Mono10 '. In my images, I use 'Type of Image' 'levels of gray (I16).

    My test code works very well for 'Pixel Format' "Mono8" but not others.

    It is also important to note that in MAX, with 'Levels of gray (I16)' and 'Mono10', it works fine as well.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Harry

    Have you changed the type of image requested the default value of 'Auto' to 'Gray levels (I16)' at some point? If you have changed this setting in MAX, and recorded, which would explain the error you see. Your code is only to change the pixel format, and there is no decoder available inside the IMAQdx which takes a Mono8 image and returns an image I16 (you would have to project the image with screws of the Vision).

  • Why do I get an error when I try to change the mode of scanning by programming engine?

    Hello

    I have a problem with my EtherCAT system.

    The system contains:

    a RT PXI-8840

    2 position with EtherCAT sensors

    and 8 inverters with EtherCAT (with Softmotion plugin and xml file)

    I use LabVIEW 2015 with RT and FPGA Softmotion module.

    At the beginning of my code I pass the engine scan mode in configuration mode and then the active mode programmatically. It works well when I start my code with LabVIEW but I get an error when I use a startup application. The error code is-2132869095 (the deployment link has expired). I've tried also with a code containing just the screw for the switching of the mode of scan engine and nothing else. With this, I get the same error.

    The problem occurs when one or more inverters are involved in the project.

    Anyone an idea what I need to do to avoid this error?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    the two cases mentioned in my last post have solved the problem. I have to follow this exact sequence and I expect that the analysis engine is running.

    Now, my startup application runs.
