Establishment of a network of the laptop on pc

My pc shows the networking group, but after using the assistants on phone, still can not see the netgroup on laptop. Can anyone help please.

Hello

What you want to do exactly? To share data between PC and cell phone or you want to have access to the internet by using the internet PC configuration?

Check please the wireless network connection properties and select the advanced option to define what type of connection you want to use. On the desktop also controls the same properties and sharing using Internet connection option in the Advanced tab.

  • Problems connecting Xbox 360 to computer vista laptop via ethernet connection to the network local (the laptop is connected via wifi)

I spent a few hours trying to solve this problem, and I've been to countless forums.  They all told me to go into "Manage network connections" and right-click-properties on my connection Wi - fi.  Then they speak by clicking on the tab sharing... which I did not.  I don't know how to share my connection to the WiFi with my xbox 360.  It is supposed to be easy, but I can't realize what is designed as "highly probable."  I have a laptop Sony Vaio VGN-FW390 and Vista Home Premium. Maybe I have to set up a connection to an access point, or do a sort of thing ICS... I do not know.  I am incredibly annoyed by this, and I'd appreciate any help.  Thank you.

    Messier,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

Try this and see if it works for you, it has worked for some users.
With no cable connected between the computer and the xbox, go to control panel, network and sharing Center. You should see a "Local Area Connection", which will show disabled at this stage, and your "wireless network connection", which should show connected. Connect the ethernet cable to your laptop and the back of the xbox. Select the 'connection to the Local network. After that it is well connected, disable your 'Wireless Network Connection'. Once disabled, right click and click Properties. Go to the Advanced tab and check "allow other users of the network to connect through this computer's internet connection". Once this is done, your wireless internet connection should say shared next to the State of the connection.
Turn on your wireless connection. Then, right click to 'connect to the Local network' and click on repair. Allow the end. test the connection on your xbox.

Let us know how that works for you.
    Thank you

The network port is the port on the laptop (it is not that large - look around) that looks like a large phone connection.

You have a router/network to connect to and a cable network to connect with?

  • How to disable the laptop network WiFi & allow cable TV

I have my desktop computer connected using cable for my internet & I have a laptop that I was using WiFi for my internet, how do I change my laptop wi fi to cable so I can go online on my laptop, as well as on my desktop, thanks

    Hello

You do not have to manually disable you the WiFi, all you have to do is to run an ethernet cable from your router/access point and connect to your ethernet port on the laptop.

As soon as an ethernet cable is plugged into a computer/laptop, Wifi is disabled automatically, it's the industry standard ethernet tends to provide more transmision of data reliable and stronger than wireless signals.

However if you use a Modem and not a gateway/router then you can buy a new router, or ask your ISP to upgrade your Moderm to a gateway.

If you want to keep it cost effective and minimal cost, you could also try doing an Internet connection sharing, providing that your computer has an additional network card, or you could buy a new network adapter and snap it to your computer because the laptop is internet sharing off of your computer in this configuration, you may experience a slow connection.

  • How to add the printer in Photosmart 7525 wireless network to my laptop?

I have already added my new printer Photosmart 7525 to my home network.  It is installed via USB with the complete HP 7525 software (downloaded from HP) on my HP desktop computer that is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I shared the printer on the desktop.  I want to access the printer even my laptop which is connected to my network via a router wireless (N).  The laptop is running Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit.  On the laptop under Windows, when I click to "add a network printer", it "sees" the printer 7525 shared desktop, and she also 'sees' 2 iterations of the 7525 which are connected to the network (I used the control panel of the printer to add the 7525 to wireless connection before never hang on the printer to any PC).    Under Windows, when I click on 'Add' my printer to the laptop, it pops up a window asking me to choose my printer model in the list of printers HP listed in the menu drop-down (it is looking to add the printer driver, I think).  My Photosmart 7525 is not in the list.  Photosmart 7500 series of printers is not also listed - even when I refresh the list of printers Windows drop-down list by using the Windows Update option.  So, what should I do - download and install the Photosmart full 7525 software and then add the 7525?

    Hi cwr64,

It is easier, more likely to work, to install the software of feature complete on each computer you want to use this printer.  I think you can use the printer with the USB cable connected to a printer and the Wi - Fi connection for other systems on your network home.

The exception: CE devices don't use FFS - instead, you can use the mobile application for printing.

Online at any time may be all or part of the next list computers/gamers, computer hand Win XP sp3 is connected to the router, Samsung clp300 printer lazer connected to the main computer as a server, Vista sp2 office connected to the Wii, PS3 wireless wireless router and laptop Vista sp2 wireless. Whenever the laptop wireless comes online, it will stop magic network until the wireless is fully initialized and online, it strikes all onlines offline until there is a full boot of the wireless.

Very frustrating since we went all the cisco and spilled a belkin router that worked perfectly with the above configuration. (unfortunately I gave the belkin far and no longer have access to it or I would have released this new linksys and would be happy to once again) I don't understand why cisco units cannot work together in harmony?  In any case, I can't find any info on the help of linksys or the magical sites network which brings me to this forum. • Network printer stops working after restarting the laptop

I have 2 PCs both running windows Vista. A PC is a desktop computer ACER with a printer connected to a USB Port (HP Photosmart C4480). The 2nd PC is an ACER laptop also on windows Vista. I have a network home and print away from the laptop. Problem is when I restart the laptop I can't print remotely and do are Add' the printer again. Print spooling is nec automatic and active. I have downloaded the latest drivers HP for the printer. Just a note to say that ACER laptop my son who works in XP does not have this problem and can print after a reboot.

Hi GaryPolaris and thanks for the answer.

What is the brand and model of your printer? Have you checked to see if the printer is compatible with Vista? You can check this in the Vista Compatibility Center located at this URL http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/ . Also, you can try installing the Vista drivers on the XP machine. If the manufacturer has released Vista drivers simply download and install the drivers on your XP machine.

I hope this helps. Please post back and let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.

  • Computer laptop XP does not appear in the network of Vista laptop

My cell phone based on Windows-XP does not appear in my laptop Windows Vista-base and is not accessible from this Vista computer, but it appears in the network adapter connected to the network wireless by a double dashed line. At the same time, the laptop Vista appears in computers on the XP network and is accessible from there. I have already applied Windows XP - SP3 hotfix KB 922120 to XP laptop and checked the firewall on both machines (Exceptions) settings, and they seemed OK. Also, I checked the HKML restrictanonymous DWORD value data value data (0) of the XP machine.

Can someone help me with this? Thank you so much in advance.

    Hello
    Maybe this can help.

To get best results connect to each computer system screen and set all the computers to be on a bearing the same name of Working Group , while each computer has its ownunique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please Note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled).
If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic.

If you end up with the 3rd party software uninstalled or disabled, make sure that Windows native firewall is active .

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.

    -------------

If you have permission and security issues with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/permission-security.jpg

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

    * Note . All the users who are allowed to share need to have an account onall computers that they are allowed to connect to.

Everyone is an account, that means a group of all users who already have an account now as users. It is available to avoid the need to configure permission for each on its own, it does not mean all those who feel that they would like to connect.
