  This is a common problem. The basic Panel is simply hidden.

  I can't update "windows" or "windows defender". Followed the steps described by Microsoft help, tried to download manually, have asked Microsoft to help (no response yet) these first two things didn't work. I even had something like; change setting.that message security came for "Windows update", I have change the security setting, did not just well, still nothing.
  Windows Defender gives me an error code that looks like this;
  Error Code 0 x 80070005
  That's all I can get, and it will not update.
  and on top of it, I've lost my "Microsoft Help and support (it) when I click Start and click Help and support, I get a (?) all help options or when I click on it nothing there is totally 'empty '.
  I have one more problem.
  I tried to defrag my computer, and I can't do it either. I get a grey screen and if I click on anylise or defragment, it does nothing, no error message or anything else. Tried to manually defragment Traore does not work, tried to load a defrag on the web program, wouldn't let me load it.
  Nobody knows what happens here? why I'm having these problems all of a sudden? I do nothing but send E-mails and read my emails and I do not browse the internet or enter sites that are safer. So, what can I do? How to make everything return to normal? can someone help me with this?
  Also let me tell you right now, I'm not an expert on how to do things on the computer, so I'm scitish when it receives or sounds complicated. I don't want to lose my entire system because of these unfortenate none of the work programmes.

  I would recommend that we run a SFC (System File Checker) first scan to see what he finds. Try this:

  1. click on START
  2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
  3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
  4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
  5 restart your computer

  1. click on START
  2. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
  3. type "sfc/scannow" (without the quotes) and press enter

  If the question started very recently, you can try a system restore:

  1. click on START
  2. click on "all programs".
  3. click on "Accessories".
  4. click on "system tools."
  5. click on "system restore."

  6 follow the prompts shown to restore your system to a date before the problem started. Although the system restore does not target the personal data, it is recommended that you back up all data such as music, photos and documents in case something is not bad.

  I was preparing my old but in good condition the HP Media Center M7070n for a family in need for Christmas. I had pages of notes, password, etc, but my husband has moved the computer & lost the paperwork.  He struggles with the TV remote, so there is no hope of fimding papers.  Several weeks ago, I don't remember the password.  What should I do to participate?  It is so old, that I can not find the recovery disks, either I did in 2005.

  Well, so is it IS installed in the phone... just hiding.

  First, in the main menu, press menu > show all.

  From there look for, if its in the main menu, check each folder in the phone.

  See if its actually just hidden somewhere.

  Another option is a theme, change your to another (you do not have), if it was hidden, he would display and either put it in your main menu, applications folder or somewhere, but visible.  (you can always reset)

  The question I have is I need tup upgrade VM ware tools on the ESXI 4 hosts but cannot be upgraded versions ESXI due the existing material. We have a different architecture for and is not capable of movement v so upgrade to esxi 5 is a no go for now...

  Can I install the latest tools on the esxi4 VMS or doe it have differences in tools for hardware (Ie version 7 and 8)

  Idea was the installation, a debian for nfs box and use sharing nfs as a data store in esxi.

  You said above "my root" and I assumed to mean that esxi is a directory directly under /, but is that correct? Looks like maybe not.

• ESXi 5, NTFS, LUN

  We have the following situation:

  2 Dell servers running VMWare ESXi5, 1 as backend and 1 as a backup server. Both servers are connected to a system of Raid Dell PowerVault using iSCSI.

  When we arrived a LUN system has already been created on the RAID system using all the available space.

  We want to keep all the virtual machines on this RAID System. Should also be a NTFS file system on the RAID system, who will serve as storage for a Windows file server.

  Can we use this a LUN to store the data store for ESXi 5 and the NTFS file system, or should we create two different LUNS, one for the data store and one for the file system?

  As I am new to VMWare, I don't know how data warehouses are stored on a LUN. Can someone point me to documentation where what is described?

  If you really want the Windows file server to have its "own" LUN it is possible, however it is not recommended to VMware to have something other than VMFS on a LUN with a VMware partition on it. If you really want that you create two LUNs, one for VMFS (for all other virtual machines) and a logic unit number which, by a so-called RDM is mapped to Windows virtual server.

  However, as has been mentioned above, the best solution is probably to create a large VMFS LUNS and then keep all the VMs virtual disks, including the Windows file server.

  No - ESXi 5 does support more than 2 TB of LUN - you can see page 115 of the http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/vsphere-esxi-vcenter-server-50-storage-guide.pdf for confirmation. What type of storage is - SAN or local disk? Was there any system/partitioning preexisitng disk file

  You should take a look at the Button Firefox Knowledge Base article. It will show you how to enable the back button. Don't worry, nothing is broken. It's just a setting.
