• S2415H adapter part number and possibly how to buy a replacement?

  I have misplaced my adapter while moving and can not understand which adapter I need to buy, either 3rd party or Dell (if they sell them).

  My monitor is the S2415H, but on the back, it is listed as S2415Hb. Not sure if there is any difference.

  I tried to chat/email technical support, but the monitor has no serial number and the serial number does not work so I can not simply contact technical support which is currently closed by phone. If someone who has the same monitor could help or if dell support can provide the part number it would be appreciated. I would like to order as soon as POSSIBLE I currently can't use my PC without him.

  Why didn t ask you a reference number if you have already contacted the Toshiba in the United Kingdom?

  I think that there are also some FSA in Ireland who are able to order this part at Toshiba.
  Therefore, you should contact the ASP in Ireland and they could order directly in such part of Toshiba.

  Can anyone tell me the part number of the AC adapter I need to buy for my Satellite P300-1 c 8?

  The toshiba site list or recognize the model, CarPhone Warehouse does not provide me with detailed documents and the original adapter was stolen. If not, can anyone provide an email address for toshiba (I am unable to call during their office hours).

  Or failing that, some general tips on an adapter compatible Please, I bought an adapter for the correct base - 19V, 3 specification. 95 a, (75W), Connector (PA3715E-1ACE) 2.5/5.5mm however, it does not work. The toshiba site lists another card of the same specs (PA3468E-1AC3) but I am reluctant to risk without being sure that it is just to buy it. I'd be happy to buy a universal adapter but only a high quality which will not be an electrical danger.

• HP Docking Station EN488AA - part number for power adapter

  I have a HP Compaq nx8220 laptop, with HP Docking Station EN488AA.

  Unfortunately I lost the power supply for the docking station.

  I always have the power supply for the laptop itself (393955-001), but they do not plug in to the docking station. This is the correct voltage but only 90 w instead of 120W, and the connector is the right size.

  I search online for the part number for the power supply of the correct replacement for the dock, but it has become very confused when I found advertising sites the same spare part for the nx8220 and the EN488AA when they are clearly different because the plugs do not match. No specify the size of the plug so I don't know who is who.

  Can someone help me identify the correct replacement part? Or better yet, is there an available adapter so I can use my power for the docking station too?

  Attached are two photos - the plug of the power supply next to the entrance to the laptop (fits) and the dock (does not fit).

  My Toshiba laptop (M105-S3041) seems to have a lot of problems with power.
  My OEM adapter broke and I bought a replacement (not OEM) on ebay.
  That worked fine until a month ago I started having problems charging my laptop.
  In my view, the adapter works just fine (as the light on the adapter goes on) and I have a problem with my power supply.

  I've been looking for model / part number for the power outlet without a bit of luck. Someone please help me on with the model/part number correct, where to buy and the approximate price for it?

  Secondly, does anyone know if the power supply is plug ' don't play or should it be soldered on the motherboard?
  I was pretty well to say it-assemble the laptop and put it back together (except for a bloody screw which does not come off, I will probably saw this guy here).

  I m not very well, but I think that the DC-in socket is soldered to the motherboard.
  In this case, it would be difficult procedure to replace it.
  But it seems that you are not 100% sure that this part is malfunctioning.
  It could also be the problem of AC adapter, as you say, you bought a non original part.
  It s just a suggestion, but I would try to replace the power adapter with a recommended Toshiba one before trying to disassemble the laptop and replace the DC-in Jack.

  PS: All parts can be ordered from local Toshiba ASP!

  I need a replacement adapter for my Pavilion DV6-2120EG.

  From my research, I discovered the part number is 693712-001

  Searching the net I came across an adapter with apparently the same characteristics, but number of different part: ED495ET, also ED495AA (90W, 19V 4 74A).

  I was wondering if I could use that one too with my laptop? Is there a difference between the two? Also, is there any other compatible part number?

  Thank you! I finally found a used one.

  What I learned from my research:

  -There are 2 types of adapters provided by HP, a budget of one (no HP logo on this subject) and the other with HP logo. The difference is the price and probably components

  -There are plenty of part numbers for essentially the same type of adapter. (I came to the conclusion that it is in order to make more difficult the adapters used trade - that I found pretty eww fron HP)

  -It is incredibly difficult to teach yourself through hundreds and hundreds of different sites of HP and it took me HOURS before I did the meaning of all this.

  I finally found the partsurfer.hp.com site, which has been helpful, although pretty buggy (I had to manually enter the search text in the url, as the button on the page did not work properly).

• USFF OptiPlex 755 for HDD Caddy/RAILS part number?

  I inherited 8 eight Optiplex 755 USFF machines (ULTRA SMALL FORM FACTOR). They lack all their hard drives, and I just realized under the cover that it is just a metal container lack the blue part plastic caddy/rails. I'll have a terrible time trying to find the part number appropriate because everyone online tags their photos with about 10 different 7xx Optiplex models, ranging from unspecified SFF and rarely find USFF.

  I know a picture is worth a 1000 words, but if I had one I would probably be able to find the part number. On the 755 Mini Tower there blue bins or carts that drives staple in and then you slide on the machine. The USFF is a set of blue rails that screw in the HARD drive or is it a similar caddy? I have a lot of them (from 755MT and Precision workstations) laying around, but these blue trays do not adapt the 755 USFF.

  To clarify a bit more. There is a metal drawer/box HARD drive to staple in. This metal tray screws down on the chassis. It is a small square fan that screws into the metal tray so the part I'm looking for is the part in blue plastic to HARD drive only WITHOUT fan, just the part that securely attaches the disk of the machine.

  Thanks for any help. When I entered some of the ST in the Dell website they specify HARD drive that machines shipped with but do not specify the part number for the tray/caddy drive HARD blue.
