  I made a few rules in use. Rule A for DynamicDistributionGroup A and article B for DynamicDistributionGroup B.

• How to send emails to the MS Exchange Server 2010 distribution group?

  Well, I'm not well versed in Exchange, (that I'm learning) so please forgive me for the lack of details correct / lingo.

  I try to create email for my church, distribution groups.
  We must be able to send a single email to a group and do it before out to all members of this group.
  For example: if I send an email to * address email is removed from the privacy * ", the email needs to go to each (even personal) email address that is in the distribution group"deacons".

  So far, I can do where ONLY the people on the network of the Church can send to distribution groups, and then ONLY the emails that are created from the Church network can receive them.

  Obviously, there is some progress, but I'm just at a loss on how to 'open' of this group until the 'general public'.

  I need to have server-based distribution groups and NOT people's individual e-mail / accounts Outlook, because the Congregation members need to be able to send messages to these emails as well. I can't create individual distribution to 1000 prospects people groups.

  Any help would be spectacular.

  I have an old server that has been removed from the network that it was used for active domains (domain controller) and emails,

  A new server (Windows Server 2012) took his place with a new address ip and domain name for every pc.

  I would like to return the 2008 server in the network so I can continue to use exchange as your e-mail server server.

  How to 'reset' the server so I can put in the new network, using the new domain controller and damain network and have the old server as the e-mail server.

• Unable to download POP3 e-mail.

  WIN8.1 using Tbird 24.5.0. Download the emails became intermittent in mid-May. From 6/4, none can be downloaded. No problem with sending emails. I have a POP3 with Earthlink account. I started Tbird in SafeMode via help > restart with ad - ons disabled.

  The status bar at the bottom said I was connected to pop.earthlink.net. He then stated that it was "TΘlΘcharge message 1 of 116'. After some time with no incoming message, he says "no messages to download. He never said message 2 download, so I don't think that the messages were somewhere unknown.

  This is the situation with my Windows Firewall disabled and my G Data antivirus disabled. I tried various other things after reading that others have a similar problem. EarthLink support check that I have the right settings. I uninstalled Tbird and reinstalled. I deleted the account and added a new - and lost my saved emails until I went to my backup. Someone said a blocker of advertising. I have one on Chrome Adblock Plus; I don't see how it would affect Thunderbird.

  Well, the e-mails stopped coming again! This time when I turned off my G Data antivirus mail followed, they began to come. This had happened before, but they continued to come when I turned the supervision of email on.

  I asked G Data support and they said that I must put their certificate in Thunderbird. FYI, here's what they said to do, and it worked for 4 days.

  Our latest software update 25.0.1.4 has introduced a new feature allowing it to scan SSL encrypted mails.

  You can do so by following the steps below:

     1. Open your G DATA Software and go to Settings > "E-mail check"
     2. In "encrypted connections (SSL)", use the function "Export Certificate ..." to save the certificate.

  We are facing problems that are not too familiar. Our problem happened after installing Symantec Endpoint Protection in the server that is running Microsoft SBS 2011 with MS Exchange 2010. Thus, our clients are not able to send or receive emails.

  Here is the error we have obtained:

  

  The general message with error: Exchange Search Indexer has temporarily disabled indexing of the database of mailboxes Mailbox Database (GUID = b9999002-bde3-4ca6-8a96-799d0f4b7482) due to an error. Cannot read events. 0x80004005, ec = 1142)

  In addition, our certificates of exchange for email under the self-signed signature parameter is changed to FALSE instead of TRUE. We believe that Symantec inadvertently change and block configuration. As a result, our customers cannot send or receive e-mails in internal or external. Anyone can us enlightened on how to renew certificates?

  Any help is appreciate this issue! The fix would not simple?

• Installation KB979744 causes Setup of Exchange Server 2010 to stop working

  I'm installing Exchange 2010 on a new instance of Windows Server 2008 x 64. Exchange Setup requires install several patches. After you install the 979744 hotfix, the Exchange Setup program fails with a fatal error. Remove the patch allows the installer to run, but Exchange says that this hotfix must be installed in order to continue.

  SOLUTION!

  I don't really know the root of the problem, unfortunately, but I don't know how to fix it.

  2 options:

  Option (not recommended) 1: uninstall all the installed except windows 2008 server sp2 service packs and install only what is to be the installation of exchange. Be sure to turn off the automatic updates temporarily. What either updated clashed against kb979744 won't be there either, and everything will work

  Option 2: Reinstall windows 2008 server sp2: and then turn off the automatic updates, install only what is to be the installation of exchange. The installation should work without any problem

  CAUSE: we installed all service packs from Microsoft including .net 2.0 sp2 and then we tried to install exchange 2010 sp1 and it flies well. Because now I guess it is recommended to install exchange first of all with its required updates, then later, I'll consult with microsoft if it's ok to install windows from the site updates. If microsoft confirms if all goes well, then we can proceed.

When a user enters a DNS name in an application, DNS services can resolve the name to other information that is associated with the name, for example an IP address.

• Conversion of MS Exchange Server disk from IDE to SCSI blue screens

  We are running a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 on a virtual machine in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition on VMWare vSphere 5.1.0 with the following discs:

  1 C: / Capacity 50 GB space free 22.5 GB (OS)

  2 E: / 600 GB capacity, free 291 (Exchange database) GB space

  3 F: / 360 GB capacity, space free 146 GB (Log files)

  All of these disks are IDE and try to change in SCSI, we made a clone of Exchange running and to turn the server works smoothly, then IDE.

  Because the Exchange running is still active, the clone is assigned an IP address outside of the vlan operational and is able to start and to flow normally, although some services, requiring probably the DNS do not start.

  To work towards a smooth conversion, we changed all the Services of MS Exchange Server in manual start mode and followed the guidelines that provide by the link: VMware KB: conversion of a virtual IDE disk to a virtual SCSI disk

  The same steps had previously worked for our virtual machine running Sage ACCPAC, but for the Exchange, immediately after changing SCSI drives and the switching on of the machine it blue screens and returns the message that we run a startup repair or start Windows normally.

  As there is just no image to us for this and Windows starting is normally on the screen even in failed attempts to run a startup repair.

  Anyone who has managed to convert a disk Server MS Exchange VM to IDE SCSI, kindly help what to do even if with off the server always returns the same error messages.

  Assuming that the manual conversion is ok and the virtual controller selected to add the LSI Logic SAS as mentioned by tomtom901, you may still be missing appropriate drivers in Windows. In order to inject the required driver, or temporarily add another disk virtual SCSI connected to a controller LSI Logic SAS before changing records virtual or secret the data first disks, make sure the VM powers on and load the drivers and then convert the drive system in a second step.

  There are a lot of forums and chats on 10 ColdFusion connection to Exchange Server 2010. Anyone know if 10 ColdFusion can connect to Exchange Server 2013. If you don't know, what are the steps? I tried all the stuff used in ColdFusion 10 connection to Exchange Server 2010 and still not connect to Exchange Server 2013.

  Found a solution. Yes, you can connect 10 ColdFusion to Exchange Server 2013 but there is a slight twist to the solution if you want to use the features of cfexchangeXXXXX.

  1. ensure to that you have imported the certificate Exchange Server 2013 into 10 ColdFusion server.

  2. in the cfexchangeconnection call, add:

  ServerVersion = "2010".

  Protocol = 'https'

  formbasedauthentication = 'TRUE '.

  formbasedauthenticationURL = "XXXXXX".

  If serverversion is missing, it will default to Server 2007.
