.exe (application) has stopped working

Hello

Some of my applications such as goprostduio.exe or powermanager.exe hangs when I want to start them and windows 7 says goprostudio.exe addressed the operation.

I can run all of these applications in safe mode without any problem.

How can I solve this problem?

Do a clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

A clean boot is executed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will eliminate the conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in 8.1 of Windows, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You can also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

    Hi 9gonz9,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

You get this error message when you start the desktop computer?

You can check if the complete startup items are checked in the msconfig utility.

    1. open System Configuration by clicking Start , clicking Control Panel, clicking system and security, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click the System Configuration.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. click the Startup tab and check if all the items are archived there.

You can also run a bag of security for your computer and check if this solves the problem.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

If the problem persists, turn the computer in clean boot and check if all the background program is causing this error message. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The steps to perform a clean boot are given below:

1 log on to the computer using an account with administrator rights

    2. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue

    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all

Note: Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use with existing restore points system restore utility

Once you start the office see if you get the error message. If not then follow the divide and conquer method mentioned in the article below to know which program is causing the problem.

For more information about the clean boot, follow the below given link:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart

  • "Userinit logon application has stopped working".

I have Vista Home edition Prem, and be recetnly when I start the computer, the ERROR "Userinit logon application has stopped working".  There is a similar question to this topic, but it was useless.  Assistant would be appriecated.

    Thanks

    Hi Marcosball21

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

This problem occurs if the Userinit key in the Windows registry has been changed. For example, this problem may occur if the Userinit key has a value, but no binary data.

    I suggest measures are:

Start the computer in safe mode and try to make these changes in the registry:

Important: The instructions below contain steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information, view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756

    1. how to back up and restore the registry in Windows

    i. log on the computer as an administrator or by using an account that has administrative permissions.

II. start the registry editor. To do this, click on start to reduce this top, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    III. click on continue.

IV. Locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

    v. in the right pane, right-click Userinit, then click on modify.

VI. in the value data box, type drive: \Windows\System32\userinit.exe and then click OK.

Note The placeholder of the hard drive refers to the drive on which Windows Vista is installed.

    VII. close the registry editor.

Link check: when you try to log on to a Windows Vista-based computer, briefly, you receive the "Welcome" message, and then logged on http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929825 if you are unable to start the computer in safe mode and then start from the Vista DVD and the Editor window registry opened the command prompt. Follow the steps

    i. Insert the VistaDVD Windows and restart the computer.

II. When you receive the following message appears, press a key:

Press any key to start from the CD or DVD.

III. define the following preferences and then click Next:

    o language to install

    o currency and time formats

    o keyboard or input method

IV. click on repair your computer and select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

    v. in the recovery option, select command prompt

VI. in the type of command line in Notepad

VII. in Notepad, click file, select open

    VIII. Select drive c:

    IX. Select all files

    Select Select regedit Windows x.

XI. right-click regedit and select open

Back up the registry and follow step 1

    Hope this information is useful.

Let me know if it worked.

    Hi Lee,.

    1. have you made a recent software or hardware changes to the system?

    2. is your system connected to a domain?

Nservice.exe seems to belong to IBM Lotus Notes / / Domino from IBM.

    Method 1:

If you use applications such as Lotus, then you can try to uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem.

Note: Make sure that you have the CD or downloaded installation files to reinstall the program.

  • Cannot print the financial dashboard on message of 64 bit windows 7 host computer driver print for 32 bit applications has stopped working

Original title: Windows 7 print driver host for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Hello

In my company, we have a Windows 7 (Professional 64 - bit) computer with installed on financial Edge(32-bit). We have been able to print from this fine machine, but recently we changed a printer of Conan for a Dell 2150cn Color Laser Printer (64-bit driver). Now, when we try to print from financial dashboard, we get the following error:
Host of the print driver for 32 bit applications has stopped working

    Problem event name: APPCRASH

    Application name: splwow64.exe

The printer is not a network printer, it is physically connected to the machine. In addition, it seems to print very well, if we are not trying to print from financial dashboard. Unfortunitly, once we try to print from financial dashboard, we cannot print from something else. In addition, financial dashboard can sometimes print (this is rare). I uninstalled and reinstalled, using the drivers that came with the CD (tried to download through the Dell website, but Windows seems to hate this driver)

    Hi IToccrra,

    1. the computer is in a domain environment?

    2. who is the provider of the financial advantage program you're talking about?

Method 1: Try to print in clean boot

    See the following site:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

Note: to set the computer back to start normally, use the step 7 in the same link.

Method 2: Run the printer Troubleshooter

    See the following site:

    Open the printer Troubleshooter

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter.

Method 3: update the printer driver

    See the following site:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly.

The details of the error are telling us that the accident occurred when the host of the 32-bit printer driver tries to use the printer. Apparently, you are trying to print from is a 32-bit program, and is not able to use 64-bit print drivers correctly. I would also ask that you contact the vendor of the software (from when you try to print) to check the issue.
