Export pdf cs6 causes much lower resolution file

Hello

I'm trying to export different photo, posters in the formats jpeg and psd to PDF files, but I'm getting much lower resolution files for example 2480x3508jpeg in PDF 500 x 800. The same thing happens to all the cs6 design standard suite. To the overview of the institutions. I use the mavericks. Anyone know the solution?

The appropriate image size should be set in Photoshop.  Let all the layers - especially the layers as kind and forms vector

Then you must read carefully the options when recording in PDF format.

On the general tab, choose "high quality print".

On the Compression tab, ensure that the dpi is set at least 300

That should be fine, so otherwise, come back and tell us what is happening.

  • The export of Lightroom only in low resolution

I can't export photos from Lightroom with high resolution more since last week (or my last update of Lightroom). Export settings are always the same (jpg, quality 100, sRGB, 300 pixels). The export file has 190 KB, although the image itself is about 43 MB. What could be the reason and what can do?

    Thank you very much!

500 x 500 pixels, 190 KB in size is a reasonable number.   Post screenshots of your settings dialog box export and as a DJ asked, the size of the CROPPED photo that you export.

  • Look at pictures of press pdf low resolution

    Hey,.

I wrote a pdf of press of an Indesign file made up of photography. He was wonderful as usual. But I imported the same content for a resizing and wrote a new pdf press and photo of the pdf part looks like very low resolution. I re-imported the photos and tried again. But now I am at a loss. Someone help please?

As you find it, a lot depends on how you create the PDF file. I guess it isn't with the option to export in ID, Acrobat. When you change the size on a bitmap, a change of resolution in PDF format can cause a lot of problems because of the way the original bitmap can be sampled and put in the new resolution. Always a danger when playing with scaling of bitmaps (why vector graphics are preferred where appropriate - of course, not for photos and others). I suspect that all goes back to the sample which is forced. In the future, you might want to to scale the chart in an appropriate program (perhaps PhotoShop) to obtain the desired size and resolution and use in the presentation of the ID, not just a copy, paste, scale. Graphics programs are properly designed scaling a bitmap.

  • Lo-res images appear in the exported PDF from Indesign files - anyone else having this problem?

I used Indesign for years without this problem...

But I noticed recently that many of these images (PSD, TIFF, or JPEG) that I placed in Indesign files are exported as pixelated, versions low resolution when I export for printing (PDF/X-1).

I tried different settings, but in each case, the image (which appears thin and sharp as seen in Indesign) came out like a pixelated mess blurred.

This seems to have started happening in the past months.

    Vector graphics are fine.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Or someone at - it a solution?

Also use some PDF parameters where resolution is not sous-echantillonnees at all.

    Turn off downsampling.

And I would like to test, when you export to PDF/X-4 would make to the resolution of the images.

Just to know, if something is fundamentally wrong with your PDF export feature perhaps.

  • logo JPEG to PDF display low resolution in reader but ok in acrobat DC, any ideas why?

I gave a client a jpeg of their company logo which they have downloaded on their ticket service online. The system they use generates a PDF tickets. The customer complained that the logo is not rendered correctly in Acrobat Reader. I was sent one of these tickets and seen in Acrobat reader logo is low-resolution and has a grey box behind it, it also prints like that also. However in Acrobat DC it renders correctly and also prints correctly.

I appreciate more info is probably required on which system is used to generate the PDF file, , but someone have any ideas on what could be the cause? They do not have problems with any other graphic they transferred.

    Try Acrobat Reader DC.

  • Embedded Fonts and low resolution PDF

    Hi guys,.

I have Acrobat Pro 9. I've used Acrobat Pro 7 some time ago and it was great to have option of embedded fonts. I read that if I save the PDF file in high resolution (printing for example) fonts will always be integrated. The thing is I want to make a Low Res PDF for the Web but Embedded fonts so that everyone will see the Garamond type I choose or if they decide to print it, they can do it and maintain its design.

    Can I do this?

    Thanks for any info!

    See you soon,.

    SEBS

In InDesign, just use File > export and choose preset for smaller file size. Which will integrate your fonts (the subsets that would be good enough) and reduce the image color resolution 100ppi.

If you want it lower, like in Acrobat, go to the "Compression" settings and put them at a lower resolution it.

  • 5.5 InCopy user cannot save to PDF low resolution

The user complains that they can only save as pdf high resolution pdf not low resolution.

Is there a way to do this in InCopy?

    Harlan

InCopy users have not 'res pdf' control... it downsize images to 150 dpi, which I think is more a "res intermediary." Images that are less than 150ppi initially are left as is.

The only way to get the images to a smaller resolution is to open the PDF file in Acrobat Pro and do a Save optimized As it or to reduce file size.

  • Create thumbnails and pdf low resolution

We have an archive of 3000 + PDF in high resolution, ready to print and new come every day.
Some of them are 80 + Mb in size.

We want to put these available for download, but in low resolution.
Can someone tell me how I can

-Downsample pdf high resolution low resolution as PDF files, have 72 dpi images.
-Excerpt from the first page in PDF in low resolution.
-Create thumbnails of the first page, in jpg format, width: 200px.

I tried many solutions already ghostscript iText, acrobat pro, pdf2image and cfx_pdf.
All of these programs seem to give nice results at first sight, but all have let me down.
They cannot manage jpeg2000, add borders and invisible to the pdf layers, etc.

We are working currently with automate and acrobat pro, but acrobat crashes all the time.

We are looking for something reliable that we can run ColdFusion with Java/COM or command prompt.

I'd like to hear your comments, thank you in advance.

    Hello

I found the solution I was looking for.
I'll post here so if anyone has the same problem, it doesn't have to waste time, I did.

You will need 1 program and 2 plug-ins, all of them are not free to say the least.
    -Adobe Acrobat Professional
    -A box of stuff ( http://www.quite.com/box/) -200 EUROS
    -Autobatch ( http://www.evermap.com/autobatch.asp) -120 EUROS

These tools allow to downsample a whole repertoire of PDFs from the command line (CLI) at 72 dpi.

You can create a 'batch' with "a box of stuff" so it won't be to downsample the images in a PDF document at 72 dpi.
Autobatch is a program that creates batch (.bat) files that run in "batch processing" in acrobat professional.
ColdFusion can run this batch file, and you can create a scheduled task to do it regularly.

However this solution only works on Windows and Mac.
You must run a free operating system, write a letter to Adobe to convince them to free Acrobat professional on linux, * BSD, whatever. Because they should.

    Best regards

  • Exports of low resolution?

My Illustrator to draw (running iOS on iPad iPhone and 6s Pro 9.3.4) seems to export images blurry/low resolution. Normally zoom gives a clean, sharp image, but those more recent that I did become blurred and lose detail. I have iCloud photo library so I don't know if this affects it.

    Baz,

I think that the resolution difference you see is because you save from your iPhone instead of your iPad Pro. Make a test recording of the same design of each device and see if you get a difference in quality.

    Let me know.

I solved it! I had to use the original URL shorter links to create
