Export vector shapes in Photoshop

Hi, I hope IM able to explain my situation correctly.

The thing is that I did several vector shapes in Illustrator, of course I forgot to save the .ai and then my mac is out of power and lost the document.

BUT before that the mac is out of power I imported Photoshop shapes, and now throw out there like vector shape layers. Is it possible for me to export vector shape layers in illustrator and retain editability of vector?

I would be very grateful for any help!

Nevermind I figured it, the solution was to double click on the smart vector layer in photoshop, and it will automatically open the shape in illustrator.

  • Please can someone tell if I can use my creations with the tool shape in Photoshop, commercially for example on t-shirts? [was: on]

Please can someone tell if I can use my creations with the tool shape in Photoshop, commercially for example on t-shirts. Thank you.

    Yes.  No problem.

[EDIT]  I decided to qualify that.  No problem with forms that come standard with Photoshop, but just about every logo, symbol of the brand, can be downloaded in two vector forms and brush presets.  It would be another story, obviously if you have used this kind of work, but you knew I'm sure.

  • Auto vector shape layer

I'm having a problem with vector shapes where when you select the shape or pen tool (which are intended for vector drawing) does not auto layers create more. By default, photoshop is set to create layers of auto for vector drawings. Unfortunately this does no more to me. Anyone know how to recover the creation of layers of self selection option once the shape tools?

Set them really produce vectors, no pixels in the horizontal tool options.

  • Can you do a vector shape to a path without having to define a new custom form?

I want to do a vector shape to a path. Is there a way to circumvent the duty to define a new custom form? I just want to add quickly the vector shape in a new layer, but I don't need defined as it is going to be used just once.

Of course, if you select the path to make it active, just do a color fill adjustment layer.

There are other ways if this isn't what you want.

In photoshop cs6/cc with the active path and one of the tools of form or of the selected pen tool, press the button of form

    in the options toolbar.

I know how to do this with the vector shapes with the pathfinder tools, but for some reason any, that he will not work with an embedded image.

Should I do this in Photoshop?

Place the text on the image

    then select both

Then go in the transparency Panel and choose in the passage to the outside to make an opacity mask.

Make sure that you have unchecked clip and reverse unchecked.

You can imported Gif file in Adobe animate CC and then add sound.

Anime of CC or Edge animate can publish OAM who can be placed in the Project Muse, DW or InDesign

I think that this may be the solution for you can add GIFs with his Muse.

I created one and plase on my web site for testing. .

  • How to export my sketch in Photoshop in 300 dpi images

    Hello

When exporting my images of the sketch on the iPad for Photoshop on Mac, they seem to default to 72 dpi.  What makes the images 72cm wide and 72 dpi, which is not what I want.  We use images for a book, so they must be 300 dpi.

How can I export images at 300 dpi and make them appear as the right size in Photoshop?

    Thank you.

    See you soon

    James

    Hello James,.

I don't think at the moment, it is possible to choose a resolution of 300 DPI in sketches. However, you can export your art in Photoshop and set up your resolution for printing it. The iPad Pro has allowed me to create an illustration in sketch is 2732 x 2048 pixels. Using the sharing in Sketch (square with arrow at the top of the screen icon) feature, I chose to send to Photoshop. When the image open in PS, I adjusted the resolution we print, using the size of the Image. It is an easy workflow.

I've attached a screenshot of the dialog box size of the Photoshop Image with the original resolution sketches and the adjustment in Photoshop. Note that "Resampling" is disabled in the example below, while the number of pixels will remain the same, when the ppi to 300 ppi.

    I hope it's useful.

    Best regards

  • Vector Illustrator to Photoshop Smart objects is more editable...?

I've just updated my CC and experiencing some weird behaviors between Illustrator and Photoshop. I always start in Illustrator to make my designs (logos, etc. for the vector art) and then build in Photoshop for brochures and other media. I always copied and pasted as smart objects (from Illustrator into Photoshop) and production wise, this is a quick easy workflow - I can go back and change my smart objects by clicking twice if necessary changes.

However, after update CC two days ago, I feel something I've never seen. When I paste the graphic Illustrator (such as a smart object) I can no longer double-click the layer to edit in Illustrator - I am panic and need help! What they have done or what has changed? It's ruining my workflow and I would really appreciate the help. The alert script error I get when I double click on the vector smart object is "this element is not directly editable in photoshop, but it can be placed in a document. To move the item, drag it into an open document. "Why I'm doing this and why they would change?

    Help, please

The interest to place the vector in Photoshop is not hunting for the dynamic object - it is much too long and then go back to Illustrator. Is there a way to express my concerns?

Your first message is at odds with your last. You said in your first post that you double-click to edit a vector pasted in Photoshop into Illustrator. Then you say you want to go back to Illustrator and "hunt for the object."

As long as you have the option "add to my current library" unchecked when pasting, it should work as before. Is there something I'm missing here?
