Export with maximum Render quality

I'm about to release in 4K, a master project file final for a short film which was mainly shot in 4K, but has also a few clips in 1920 by 1080 and same 1280 by 720.

I am not concerned about how long takes of the export.  There is no disadvantage (or advantage) to enable ' maximum make quality "?  What "go to maximum depth.  24-bit or 48-bit?

I think for a master file, you would max on all this, right?

Thank you for all the input.  I will use the master file to generate Vimeo, Apple TV, dubs etc.

Use the maximum Render quality: Mainly affects the upscaling of the content. If you do not upscailing, you will not notice much difference. Looks like you might be content to 4 k upscaling, so I would say Yes for this light.

Go to maximum depth: What is the depth of your source content? You have any content of your sequence that would benefit from the higher bit depth?

If you really don't like how much time it takes to export, you might as well turn on these. The drawback is more encode time.

  • Question of export - Youtube 4 k or maximum render quality

I have pictures that I want to maximize the quality - when I choose made maximum after youtube 4 k - he will to custom.  Should which option I choose to get the best picture possible, or rather as good as what I see in first pro.  Thank you!

Optimal rendering quality is really necessary only when you scaling or deinterlacing sequences. And then if the mercury reading software is used for the playback/rendering.

The best results usually come from keeping the same flow, cadence, and the size of the image as the original film.

    See you soon,.

With the exception of the line drawings, there is no good reason to go more than 300 dpi.

If printing fine art books 200 lpi or greater, you may want a little more, ppi may be as much as 400, but 900 is really excessive, and the RIP will throw more than half of the data in any way, if she's not choke first.

  • The rendering is essential prior to export with the SOUL?

    Hello guys!

My sequence has red and yellow lines. This means that I have to go to the preview. I don't want to make because I don't know the result in preview (I did the same thing with other projects)

She must be rendered prior to export with the SOUL or not?

I don't know, but once I forgot to make the effect of stabilization of deformation and the blue line appeared on my images...

    Hi Yiotal,

You shouldn't have to make before you export a project either through the integrated version or autonomous of the SOUL.  If you got a blue line in your film, this must be a bug in PP/SOUL.  I got errors, export projects when using the AE projects related, so output bugs exist.

Rendering is for smooth playback when editing (especially the clips with a red bar.  Any decent system will well with the yellow bars).  Even if you make everything before exporting it, never use make files in the output (i.e. make sure that the "Use Previews" checkbox is disabled).  I did some tests and the quality of the image you get when you work with files of rendering is less.

    I hope this helps!

  • Format QuickTime exports with the wrong project settings.

    Hey there.

I have a problem when exporting mov. files. Basically what is happening, it's that my project settings (exposure, color balance, shadow / highlights) are not the same after exporting they are in a project. They seem to have some changes applied, but they are significantly reduced. I checked the export with different format and it works fine.

    My settings are:

    -QuickTime format

video codec - Motion JPEG A

    quality - 100

    Cadence - 25 fps

Firstly, the field Type - low

I need to keep this format and codec, unfortunately, so here is what I can do to apply the settings of my project?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, because I spent my whole day trying to find an answer.

    Kind regards.

  • name the file exported with date

Hi, I use this command to export my schema

    exp file = c:\expdat.dmp med/med

I think that if I use the same command over and over again, it will replace the old file with the new one? right?

    2. I want to name the file exported with the sysdate (date and time)? , and I think it's a way to create a new file and does not replace the old file.

    Thank you

Here is an example of adding a date for a file name:

    > exp med/med file=c:\expdat.%date:~10,4%%date:~7,2%%date:~4,2%.dmp

To add as a data and once, you just need something based on time that is unique, so try something like:

    > exp med/med file=c:\expdat.%date:~10,4%%date:~7,2%%date:~4,2%.%time:~1,1%%time:~3,2%%time:~6,2%%time:~9,2%.dmp

  • Lightroom: Export with all the metadata includes the objective data

When I export photos from Lightroom to photo site appears all the EXIF metadata, but not my lenses. Lightroom recognize my goal, but when I export image with the option "All metadata" the objective data is not exported. Why? Maybe not important but I want to get all the metadata with my photos.

    ScreenShot.jpg

    Hello!

There must be something else, perhaps with the importer of photo website? When I export with the option to include all the metadata info from the lens is also included. It is usually written by the camera in EXIF fields data. Sounds like your camera is written this info since Lightroom can see it.

If you have another application of image processing (you camera manufacturer, Preview, etc) see if a file exported from that behaves the same way when you import into your photo site.

  • Scene markers can be exported with a clip?

    (With the help of PE4)

I want to build a major project of smaller subprojects (because at the time where there is 30-45 minutes of content, editing becomes desperately slow experience).  I want to do all the stuff complicated small subprojects, and then only the end face in setting up the project.

For example, the major project might be my vacation, and subprojects perhaps hiking, the beach, the BBQ.  Each sub-project will eventually have a main Menu marker in the final draft.  But each sub-project can have markers of the scene that it contains.

What I want to do is the following:

    Create a new subproject (hiking)

Put in relevant DV - AVI clips for hiking (HikeA, HikeB, HikeC)

Add titles, transitions and scene markers

Export the subproject to DV - AVI

Repeat the procedure for the beach and Barbecue.

Then, create the large-scale project, bring in the DV - AVI subproject (hiking, etc.), add main menu markers ONLY and then share the DVD project.

The problem is that when the DV - AVI subproject is formed, the scene markers have disappeared.  Under Build Options for the type of export Microsoft DV - AVI file, there are check boxes for 'Fields to export', whose "Chapters" is one (if the chapters are the same as the scenes?), and there is also an option to export the empty markers.  Thus, it seems that what I want to do is maybe possible.

'Modify the Original' installation does not quite what I want.  I don't want to put all the markers from the scene in when I'm in the great project.

Is it possible to work with subprojects like that?  Should I be exporting to another format for subprojects?  Or am I stuck with having to set the scene markers in the big final project?

    Thank you

    Dave

The way you do it is correct. Scene markers cannot be exported with the clip.

  • PSD export with alpha

Maybe I'm just having a bad day, but I'm so frustrated with the time that I spent on something so simple.

I am a user of AE... for a long time and I have simply never need it I guess.

I'm trying to export a still image of an image to a PSD with a transparent BG. I put RGB + Alpha, Photoshop sequence. The PSD frickin never alpha and instead just put a gray background and the image on a layer of unintelligent. WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY!

Why not use .png? because I get a quality of shit with a PNG after resizing.

    Thanks for your help.

PSD do not use Alpha, it have transparency by layer and the setting save as PSD layers command will do exactly that.

  • Export with alpha channel and edges are jagged

I have a short animation which is mainly a PSD of a NC card with some thumbtacks animated on the subject. I have a local cable company eager to export the animation with an alpha channel. It uses first on a Mac, I'm PC. Any codec I use that supports an alpha channel, the outer edge of the graph of the State comes out shredded. Zoom in on the PSD in PhotoShop shows that the edge is not embattled, so I guess that's what causes the tip ragged to export.

Here's the grab of the export. With QT Animation codec quality 100, but produce the same results with DNxHD, Cineform, PNG, etc.

  • Subtitles do not appear when I play my video exported with first Pro CC

So, I've spent some time cela, but can't seem to get anywhere.  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro and I created a sequence with captioning.  I tried to export several different ways (Quicktime, H264, etc.).  I was also careful to include a subtitling sidecar file or to incorporate subtitles into the video when you export using Quicktime.  I was also sure that the two files (the film and the SCC file) are in the same place.  I tried different versions of the video exported using Quicktime Player and VLC, but had no chance to get the subtitles to appear.  In Quicktime player I've tried it with active captioning, but this does not seem to make a difference.  In VLC, I tried the Advanced Open option which allows you to select the subtitle file, that you want to load with the film.  Once again, no luck.  I tried to drag / drop the file *. CSC on the movie then it plays.  I tried to select a subtitle track using the drop down below the video.  Once again, no luck.  I tried exporting the file as a .mcc of Premiere Pro and that no longer works.  I even tried to convert the file *. CSC to .srt app file online.

In any case, I'm stumped.  All I want to do is get my film to play with subtitles with a simple application.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    S. @@

Sorry, Fritz. It's been a while since I really look to the help page of captioning, and I just assumed that the workflow new legend is covered here. And a second apology because the State of this page is at least partly my fault insofar as I promised our technical editor months ago that I would expand this page.

You don't do something wrong when it comes to set the start and end for legend blocks. In the timeline panel, legend titles are basically only display. The apparent handles are really just indicators; they are not interactive. I think it's our road map to make them interactive, but I have no idea wherever improvement is in the order of precedence.

I'm not sure what you mean about "each caption track block [being] limited to a little more than 30 seconds. If there is a maximum of a clip of the legend, it is probably 12 or 24 hours. I have worked with many that are more than an hour. With respect to the individual legend within clip blocks, my memory has grown blurred in the months since I worked on the feature, but I think that the program does not impose a limit on the duration, you can give a block. However, there may be a limit on how long a given legend block will be actually are displayed. I thought the limit was 15 seconds, but I just did a test with blocks of 10, 20 and 40 seconds, and each of them had completely given duration in the encoded output. Maybe the limit that I think is a specific standard... Come Monday, I'll have to check with colleagues who remained close to all of the features.

Note that if you add a caption element in a sequence until you have finished adding blocks, then you will need to cut the clip after increasing its duration by adding blocks.

Finally, although the first creation of the legends from scratch media feature set was designed mainly to import captions created in a tool of creation of third party and, if necessary, revise the content and control the synchronization.
