External file of Javascript Ghost (bug?)

Hi, this is a sensitive issue (at least for me):

I created a Javascript file, we will call "test.js", I downloaded for shared components-> static files without request repository associated in particular.

This file it is referenced by the X page with NO cache setting on the Javascript-the URL of file like this: #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #test.js

So far so good, the functions of the library was called and executed correctly.

But I stumbled upon a small bug in the file I have proceeded to correct and then change in the downloaded version of the file (less than 30000 bytes file, I was able to change on the spot, hit apply changes). After that, I deleted temp files and history on the browser. However when I run the page again the error continues, because, as shown in the console, the file being used is the precedent, not the version fixed. A little weird... okay, but that's not all, I have decided to remove the file from the repository and upload it again (same name "test.js") with no application associated with, once again, delete the temp files and history on the new browser and run the page (once again ). And once again (hehe...) the error persists and the file called is the one that does not exist. So finally I decided to do a bit of magic to deceive and delete the file but not download, leaving the reference to #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #test.js on page properties, delete history and the temporary file to the browser and run once more, this time decided to break the page, and yet it works!, wrongly is the buggy file but it's there! , so I said: "ok, browser problem... run it on Chrome (for the first time) and the file is there, so I said: 'ok, machine question..', run it on a new computer (for the first time) and the same non-existent buggy file and it is been charged...

This file, it is not referenced by another application (yet). The runtime is file to the url that does not exist:

http://192.168.141.14/Apex/wwv_flow_file_mgr.get_file?p_security_group_id=3321831433497474 & p_fname = test.js

I downloaded the same file under a new name Let's say test_1.js and change the page indicated under this new name, then the page load the new correct file. But this is not a desirable behavior, that I got the chance that it was the first reference to the file, but if it happens at a later stage, it would be a major problem.

Sorry for making it a bit wide but I tried to be thorough with this, I missed something? Why is this happening?  Any help will be appreciated.

I use:

  • APEX build 4.2.3.00.08

  • Opening an external file containing the javascript code

    I am trying to develop a PDF document in both languages. When you press a button, all the questions and possible answers list-of-values should be translated.

    I created and initialized variables with both sentences with javascript. Everything is inside my code.

    Is there anyway that when you press a button on an external file is read, which brings this code javascript questions and list-of-values? My concern is that, currently, I have a duplicated code, but if I want to set up three, four languages, it will grow without control.

    It is an example I wrote in my code:

    var TxtAuxL1ESP = new Array();

    var TxtAuxL1ING = new Array();

    «TxtAuxL1ESP [0] = ', como «;»

    "TxtAuxL1ING [0] = ', such as ';

    «TxtAuxL1ESP [1] = ': el ultimo ano ha obtained «;»

    "TxtAuxL1ING [1] =": last year he got ';

    TxtAuxL1ESP [2] = 'percent, in last years very;

    TxtAuxL1ING [2] = "%, over the past three years;

    TxtAuxL1ESP [3] = "% y in last five years;

    TxtAuxL1ING [3] = "% and in the last five years"; "

    //...

    If (P1. BtnIdioma.border.edge.stroke == 'high') {}

    var TxtAuxL1 = TxtAuxL1ESP;

    var TxtAuxL2 = TxtAuxL2ESP;

    var TxtAuxL3 = TxtAuxL3ESP;

    }

    else {}

    var TxtAuxL1 = TxtAuxL1ING;

    var TxtAuxL2 = TxtAuxL2ING;

    var TxtAuxL3 = TxtAuxL3ING;

    }

    I thought it is to store TxtAuxL1ING in a single file, TxtAuxL1ESP into another file and read them my javascript in the PDF code. Is this possible?

  • Export of javascript to an external file

    I know it's fundamental. I designed 10years with FrontPage, that is why, I am new to the world of CSS and other external things.

    I'm your basic script "MM_preload pictures" I thought perhaps rank my page if I moved a page external .js, but am undsure how in DW CS4. I got so far as to copy the script starting with 'function' and ending with the "{}". I pasted in a new page by going to File, New, Javascript. I remember when I did it in a tutorial with export CSS to an external style sheet, it's pretty simple and the code has been written for you.

    This JavaScript too or do I code something?

    Am I really save any time of loading or to help with SEO by moving this script to an external document?

    Bug 9.0.3.3: no editor refreshment for files modified externally

    The current solution - use SQL Developer 3.2.20.09 instead.

    The links that reference you are dated, and one (in fact for JDeveloper) predates the existence of SQL Developer.  Auto-recharge works fine for me, both for Notepad and Notepad ++.  Given that it also works for you with the 3.2.2 version, I can't that assume your user for 4.0.2 settings got corrupted somehow.  If you have migrated the 3.2.20.09.87 or any other rejection of some, I recommend...

    1. exit SQL Developer

    2. delete or rename %APPDATA%\SQL Developer\system4.0.2.15.21

    3. remember that Windows by default, considers the part folder AppData C:\Users\\AppData to be hidden.

    4. start SQL Developer and jump in front of all the guests on the migration of user settings.

    Hope this helps,

  • call to external files in cf10

    I am just using CF 10 and all my external js calls get a 404 error.

    It was my last test: 2 1 1 js in the root Web cfm files

    wwwroot

    Hello.cfm

    Hello.js

    Hello.cfm contains the following

    < script > alert ("Hello from the calling page"); < /script >

    < script src = language'hello.js = "JavaScript" > < / script >

    Hello.js contains the following

    Alert ("'hello from external js file");

    fine inline script fires, the external js file returns 404 - not found.

    I have run it on 3 separate systems, stand top of a solitary Tower, VM on the net work and my dev machine

    used firefox, IE, Operal and Chrome and the results were identical.  So what setting I am missing in the CF admin or is it a new syntax to call external files in CF 10

    Anyone else run into this?

    Well, it's one of those Duh! moments.  Not having used Tomcat before, I knew not that it is case-sensitive. I was lax because it runs on a windows machine that I never had to pay strict attention to the case.

    Make the necessary adjustments, everything works again.

    Thanks to all who contributed, it was greatly appreciated.

  • How to update the external file fields?

    Hello

    I am new to trying to use pdf files for further editing of the text fields, but I'm trying to be sent in the right direction for the next job.

    I have an original field, lets say project #.  When that is filled, I want that the PDF file to automatically fill in other areas related to this project # from an external file/source.

    Where should I start to do such a thing, and what software should be used?  Also, what external file/source is best?

    Thank you very much, I really appreciate it that I can start learning/teaching myself

    You should probably start with some books and documentation - perhaps the

    Manual of Acrobat or the Bible of PDF (Padova & Okamoto) forms.

    A few quick responses.

    -You will need to start with JavaScript, since logically form in a PDF document is

    in JavaScript.  There are many resources online and catalogue for this.

    try PDFScripters.com as a good starting point.

    -Depending on your environment and the environment of your users, you can

    Watch SOAP or ODBC to your methods of communication.

    using vlist or boyfriend xtra file I get an error

    -"vlist_xtra.write - 2147211470".

    Which means:

    put vList_errorString(-2147211470)
    -- " kLstErr_LockVoidImage (-2147211470)"

    When I re - write your code slightly:

    global vlist_xtra

    on startmovie
      tImage = duplicate( member(2, 1).image )
      tList = [tImage]
      tFile = _movie.path & "image_data_list.lst"
      vlist_xtra = new xtra ("vList", tFile)
      --  put "vlist_xtra ", vlist_xtra

      OK = vlist_xtra.write(tList)
      put "vlist_xtra.write", vList_errorString(OK)
      vlist_xtra = 0
      _movie.newMember(#bitmap).image = tImage
    end

    I see the following in my message window (and a new, valid, bitmap created in my cast):

     -- "tList.ilk" #list
     -- "tList[1].ilk" #image
     -- "vlist_xtra.write" " kLstErr_LockVoidImage (-2147211470)"

    You have found a bug in the xtra. What version do you use?

    put vList_version()
     -- "2.0"

    You should contact Mauricio Tabuleiro and report to him so it can be fixed. Please let me know if you do not, because I'm in this case - it must be fixed, and the person has reported yet shows how few users have migrated to D11.5.

    FWIW: your code works correctly in D10 with vList 1.8.5, 1.8.6 and 2.0.0, so this seems like a bug introduced with D11 or 11.5 (and probably related to Unicode)

  • How can I create a link or the words in my web page to open an external file?

    I have a text on a page, how to render a word in the text (hyperlink) to open an external file. When users would be 'mouse' on the word and know that it is a hyperlink because the word likely to change color or become fat for example. Thanks for your thoughts.

    1. open the menu "File/add files for download" and choose your file.

    2. Select the word that you want to have a link.

    3. go in 'Links' in the strip of higher command and assign the file you have selected for download.

  • Attach external files to signed pdf forms.

    I work for the Department of the army and get pdf forms to be completed directly with the direction of army publication. I have contacted about this problem and I was told it is a restriction in the Adobe software and they can't solve it.

    The army uses evaluation forms to be signed to vmultiple times throughout the year, both by employees and supervisors. The process is the following:

    The Spiderbeam of the rating period, the employee receives the assessment form and is required to sign digitally to document its acceptance of the requirements of the job for the coming year. At the end of the year, it is necessary to attach an external file indicating their achievements throughout the past year and then digitally sign the form. The supervisor then adds his digital signature to the bottom of the form. The problem is, once the initial employee digitally form, he or she can join is no longer external files. Therefore, the files are routed separate from the signed form and there is nothing that links the two together even if the employee and the supervisor are both certifying that what is on the attachment is specific when they sign the pdf form. It's a problem because the attachment can be altered.

    If it is not a solution at this time, I ask Adobe Acrobat to consider this type of scenario when they write patches/fixes for the software and/or by creating the next version.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, however this is a limitation. Than to join the files changes the structure of the PDF file that will not be allowed once the PDF file is signed.

    I will surely take note of this issue.

  • Is it possible to import Raw files into the LR catalog...... including all changes in an external file raw editor such as Capture One?

    Is it possible to import Raw files into the LR catalog...... including all changes in an external file raw editor such as Capture One?

    I can import the Raw file successfully, but can't see all the changes that have been applied in Capture One. IM assuming not, but just to check.

    Your assumption is correct, Capture One, Lightroom and other third party raw processors have their own exclusive process and profiles to render the raw data.

    They do not make permanent changes to the raw data and save changes to a .xmp file or to a Lightroom catalog file.

  • How can link to external files - I insert hyperlinks to another project?

    Hi, I am trying to learn how to use RoboHelp HTML (I use RoboHelp10), and, unfortunately, I have to work on a project that someone else has started some time ago.

    The thing is, I have 2 separate projects, each with their own files, will that ultimately generated in 2 files separate chm and used in the same software (probably merged, but I don't know yet).

    A project needs to have hyperlinks across multiple pages htm to the subjects of the other project. I read the help provided by Adobe RoboHelp, but I don't know that I understand:

    Link to external files

    • Choose a location for link in the design editor.
    • Enter text.
    • Highlight the text and click Insert Hyperlink .
    • Click on the triangle button next to link to, and then select the file.
    • Browse to a file, open it and copy it to the folder of the project. -Is this file the individual .htm containing my topic or the .chm generated from all the files in the project htm? Where in the project folder devrais I copy it? (my project .chm file is generated in the.) SSL! folder).

    Generate the file in order to test the links to external topics.

    WebHelp projects
    The external file must be distributed in the WebHelp folder.
    Microsoft HTML Help projects

    The external file must be distributed with the CHM file. Note: the external CHM file must be in the same folder as the CHM project file.
    - I'm going to generate a Microsoft HTML Help project, so the second spec probably applies. Does this mean that external chm must be copied in the! SSL! folder where I generate my current chm and distributed together, so that hyperlinks will work?

    Sorry if my question may sound a little silly, I'm not very adept at this software. Thanks in advance.

    Christina
