External mouse for dx7 Pavilion

Bought a dx7 Pavilion for my business a few weeks back (I know that this laptop is a bit much for a company, but use the extra cores for tasks of Fund grid world community to help the scientific community and for a small business, this very charitable activity is basically free cash: the laptop even with additional features is always a tax deduction for company :-))

While I'm enjoying using this new laptop for my business, I find the mousepad on laptop a bit slow to use and I would like to see if I can get an external mouse to use with this laptop.    Is it a fact for this notebook on the site of hp here anyone out there recommend?   And for the external mouse port on the laptop computer on which would be the one to use (maybe a USB Port?) because there doesn't seem to be a set up just for a mouse?

Roger

Vidya thanks for the information.   I get kind of figuring that a kind of a USB-based mouse would be the best way to go.

    Absolutely!

You can use as many USB DVI adapters as you have USB ports available.

If you go beyond the number of USB ports on your laptop be sure and use external powered hubs USB This way you don't kill the chip southbridge by gong beyond current capacity.

  • Two external monitors for HP Pavilion dv6

Is it possible to configure my laptop Pavilion dv6 to take charge of two external monitors?  It does not resemble a connection docking station on the bottom of the laptop

I am writing just this note using my HP Pavilion dv6 (AMD A8), and I use two Samsung 27 "external displays, a Samsung 2770hd (HDMI output) and a Samsung SyncMaster T260 * w/VGA DVI cable).

I use the HDMI and the VGA output of my HP laptop. Adapt the VGA connector, I used a dremel cutting tool to easily remove a side area plastic of the connector. It was very easy and I had to do it because my VGA connector was too big and it wouldn't let me put the connector hdmi beside him.

Otherwise, it works great.  I could use resolution 1900 x 1200, but one of my monitors (VGA) only has a resolution of 1900 x 1080, so I have both at this resolution.

This machine is faster than my older HP desktop computer and occupies all the space... Very nice work AMD... !!!  I love this machine can use the integrated and discrete GPUS using crossfire...

  • trackpad is not working I use an external mouse

trackpad is not working I have to use an external mouse.

Hey there, here are some tips that might solve your problem.

1 - Make sure you are on the last update. To see if updates are available for your trackpad, open the App Store and click the updates at the top of the window.

    2-

    Check your settings

Assuming that there were no updates available (or they do not solve your problem), the first port of call should always be your trackpad settings. Many complaints can be resolved simply tweaking a few options

  • Satellite U300 - only the external mouse works via USB

My touchpad has stopped working. I tried to reload the driver, reset the settings via the control panel and checked the Fn F10 button. My external mouse works via USB and I have not activated the button ' disable when the external mouse connected "(and even when the mouse is disconnected the touchpad still does not work).

Any help would be appreciated. I don't know that I missed something very simple.

    Hey Buddy,

It is the combination of bad for touchpad keys. You must press the combination of keys FN + F9 to toggle the touchpad.

  • Tecra A6 - external mouse connected to USB erraticly port rolls

I have a new Tecra A6 with Windows XP SP2 running on it. The touchpad works fine, but if I use an external mouse connected to a USB port, the scroll wheel scrolls erracticly - jump an additional 6 to 10 lines every now and then, it's extremely irritating. Problem is there little matter which USB port I use.

The mouse is a new Logitech optical mouse. Have also tried it with a Microsoft Intellipoint mouse and a generic without brand name. In each case, I had the same problem.

I've updated the drivers - and turned off the touchpad (thought may have been a conflict), but the problem persists.

Any suggestions on where I should look for a popular solution.

    Hello

When you use an external mouse I recommend you disable the internal touchpad by using the FN + F9 key combination. I do the same and there is no problem at all.

  • Satellite A350 - Touchpad does not work, but an external mouse works

Satellite A350 Touchpad does not work ok (unstable system and left button not loaded).

I tried to make the driver but nothing. No problem drivers (conf system). I have the driver for the touchpad stroped and with an external mouse everything is working properly.

What should I do? Don't you think it's hard or soft the problem. * The touchpad is NEVER worked.*

Thank you, and sorry for my bad English. :-(

    Hello!

The touchpad does appear in Device Manager or you have here yellow exclamation points?

Like Akuma says you can enable or disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination.
    Did you check that?

In the worst cases, you must go to an ASP. It seems to be a hardware malfunction, and this must be checked by a technician of the laptop. Here, you can search the nearest ASP:

Hello, I have some problem with a Tecra A20 which is connected to a docking station. If I start the laptop with the lid down and you start Microsoft Outlook the left button of the mouse on the external mouse acts as a right mouse click (the right button of the mouse serves as a right-click). I did it again, but it is impossible for me to work with my external USB mouse optical mouse "Trust mi-2500 x.
It s not recognized. Can I update the driver, Vista tells me it's good, but Vista also indicates that it cannot install it.

I don't understand. Can you help me?
I do not work with the keyboard, so it is impossible to not have an external mouse
    Thank you very much.

    Hello

Error code 39 always appears if the equipment has not been installed correctly.
I think you should first try this:

Remove the mouse driver installed and the software.
Then remove the USB hubs and USB controllers in Device Manager list.
Then restart the laptop and wait until the USB ports would be installed again.
Install the mouse software, and then connect the mouse to the laptop.

If this will not help, try to remove the installed application alcohol because that might be the reason for this compatibility issue.

  • HP Pavilion 15-n230se: difficult to find drivers for HP Pavilion 15-n230se Bluetooth.

I have trouble finding drivers for HP Pavilion 15-n230se Bluetooth. I purchased the product for almost 2 months, but still can't put my computer laptop bluetooth works, my OS is Windows 7 64 bit. I tried to download the driver here:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=6762...

But after installing drivers available, he still shows no Bluetooth in Device Manager... what to shout? Any help please.

    Thanks in advance.

    That is right.

A model that comes with bluetooth is listed as a result like this...

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03937418

I'd be willing to guess that your model has a 8188EE Realtek wireless card.

It is a single band with no bluetooth Wireless N card.

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

You can replace the card with a card without wireless/bluetooth combination described in Chapter 3 of the maintenance manual wireless...

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&product=6762375&

Or you can buy an external Bluetooth USB adapter.

  • No drivers for Windows 7 for HP Pavilion G6-2260sh

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6-2260sh. on the site of HP Unfortunatelly there are only drivers for Windows 8. I don't want Windows 8, I need Windows 7 operating system.
When I got the laptop there is an installed Windows 7 Ultimate with drivers. So it must be drivers for Windows 7 for HP Pavilion G6-2260sh... somewhere, unfortunately I messed type of windows and now it needs to be reinstalled. I asked a few questions autour and the guy who sold me the laptop and this is the situation:
My laptop is with AMD processor and video card. He told me to reinstall what version of Windows 7, I want, then install the wireless card and ethernet so I can connect to the Internet. Then download and install a small program called "amd autodetect", this program will automatically find and download all the drivers.

I don't have ethernet internet at home, I have only wireless.

The problem is: after installing Win 7 how I'm supposed to install the wifi card to get this internet connection and deal with the AMD AUTODETECT program with all the drivers?

Could you point me to somewhere I can find a driver for the wireless card. ? If there are drivers for everthing will be great! I'm looking a lot.

This is the laptop (I DIND'T know what is relevant, while I posted everything)

I am a woman and not much of an installer so I'm stuck here somehow. I know how to install the operating system and drivers if there are drivers. But I have no drivers and do not know what to do.

If you have any other suggestions outside the "amd autodetect" program, we invite you to share them.

If I have no other option than "amd autodetect" I'll need to install the card wifi somehow. Y at - it universal driver for wifi for HP Paviliom cards?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to the computer?

    Method 1.
Disable the touchpad on your laptop and check. You can also try to use an external mouse and check if the problem persists. Download and install the latest drivers touchpad from the manufacturer's website.

    Method 2.
Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP

You have a laptop. So try the right button on your touchpad. It work?
If so, the only remaining possibilities are:
    1. bad mouse. Get a new one.
    2. defective UBS port. Plug the mouse into a different port. See if the right click of the mouse works this time.
