  In addition to the three lights, you see above your numeric keypad (on the left side up to now), there are all the lights on your keyboard? Is it possible to take a photo hence are these lights and publish them? Otherwise, the lights should indicate specific locks:

  1. The NumLock
  2. The cover lock
  3. Stop scroll

  Essentially, these lights indicate if you lock one of these three options.

  First uninstall Hp Qucik buttons launch the program and features in the control panel and restart you Notebook and check if new drivers are installing and the buttons work correctly.

  If the problem exists then connect to www.Hp.com and click on support and drivers and enter the product number and click search and then select software and drivers down load and select your operating system and then click driver - keyboard, mouse and input (6) devices , and then click the HP Quick Launch Buttons ►2010 / 04 / 09, Version: 6.50.16.1, 26.05 M and click donwload and install on nb and check if the problem is resolved, and if the problem exists , and then click Start > Search > the Device Manager and in Device Manager > mice and other pointing device and uninstall the Synaptics ps2 device and restart laptop and check if the buttons work properly, if the problem exists and then contact the Hp Support to set up the bench event for laptop

  I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem with the latest keyboards for the thinkpad t510 or other newer versions? When I press the P button, if I press on the Cape of the 3rd quadrant from the key, assuming the Cartesian coordinates, then the key does not operate smoothly, instead, I hear a "Clack" and it seems to rub into something underneth and then it will press the po is not a 'fluid '. It's a push "in staircase' of the CAP. Sorry for the lack of better description. Although the feeling when typing and meet which is very annoying especially when entering for a long time.   I have the arrow down to abc and press OK so it turns into ABC. However, when I have the arrow back up to type out a letter, lowercase.

  Can you please tell me how to type uppercase? It seems that if I do everything right, but it does not.

  These are expensive outside the United States for a stupid reason. HP itself is out of stock. I found one for like $27 from a US seller on eBay. Do you have someone ready to ship to the United States?

  I restarted the Mac and am currently operated in mode 'safe', but it will not always be open.

  Hold the SHIFT key while launching numbers to 'say' numbers not top open files that have been previously opened.  Then try to open your documents again.

  I lived an intermittent problem with some of the key - sometimes they work and other times I have to press several times so that it can work. I thought it would be a loose keyboard connector so I opened and removed the Ribbon of the connector by gently lifting the retainer clip until he published. I reinstalled the Ribbon connector and tried to get retainer clip back on. He won't and I worked at home all day. The clip has a small protrusion at each end and I tried different directions - no luck.   There are two types of lock I've seen so far for slick keyboard,

  To unlock fig.1 is pulling up then that is when you insert the cable, and then pull down to lock

  Fig. 2 Unlock is when you lift the top then keyboard then close.

  You can try unlock code and locking Clips when there is no cable yet, which is to check if there is a problem with the retaining clip because it must open and close properly with problems with any cable.

  Inserting characters ACII always depends on the software you use.

  _For example_ in Microsoft Word to insert ASCII characters, you need to press on and hold the ALT key while typing the character code.

  * NOTE: * you must use the numeric keypad to type the numbers and not the keyboard.
  Make sure that the Numlock key is on if your keyboard requires to type numbers on the numeric keypad.

  I have satelite M100 PSMAAA-02006 with XP. I just updated the Bios on V3.0. Speakers do not work after update but the audio jack works so with headphones I can listen to but not through Laptop speakers and the keys to media on top of keyboard play, pause, stop, next, back, etc. homepage react too much.

  I doubt that this was due the update of the BIOS. Is that what you have loaded default settings after updating the BIOS?
  Have you chosen the correct BIOS update?

  Normally you can hear the sound on the speakers laptop if you disconnect the headset. Make sure that the sound is not muted, you can do this with the FN + ESC key combination.

  About the multimedia keys, I would recommend reinstallation of Toshiba common Modules. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

  Please don't be crazy on my but I don't understand your question. These buttons are by default configured to run with pre-installed Windows media player. If you don't like them you just simply do not touch them.
  I know that you can change the browser settings and the multimedia key and define which application should be open with these buttons.

  In any case such option is unknown to me.
  Why you want to disable these buttons?
