  I have the first Elements 4 in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 64bits. No problems. In the properties/Compatibility tab, I leave "run this program in compatibility mode for" unchecked. I have to right click on the first Elements 4, select run as administrator, even though I have worked for a user with the privileges of the administrator account.
