Trying to connect to via the adobe application manager, I get an error saying "unable to contact adobe." If please connect to the internet and try again. I am able to connect via the web to my adobe account using the same identifier. It is not a firewall that prevents me from access to this program. Any ideas?

I'm having the following problem. We are running a Mac OS x environment on a server open directory (Lion Server). For some reason when I try to use Creative Cloud Packager under a network account I get the error "Please connect to the Internet and try again. The account has local administrator rights in the machine.
When I log in as a local not network connection account, everything works fine.
There is no configuration of firewall on network accounts rules, all ports are open.
Please can someone help. We use administrator accounts network for the administration of the network.

Had to deal with this for well over a year. First of all on my Win 7 Machine. Now on a Windows 8.1 machine age of 1 week with cc 2015... Was able to run after a reboot a few days ago. But nothing comes to me to pass this message now.

Also try the help below procedure:
1 - Check if you have installed browser security extensions, please disable them. (For example: AD BLOCK, Advisor to McAfee website, toolbar of internet security etc.)
2 disable the firewall to enable the firewall on or off - Windows Windows help , see your machine
3 turn off the firewall of the security program installed on the computer Internet.
4 - Please check if you have adobe entries in your HOSTS file, if there are all the entries in it, which means that adobe is getting stuck on your machine.

Hello, I have problems with Creative Cloud Packager. I bought this product yesterday and since then I can not download completely all components. 59% or 65% of the download I get the message: "connect to the internet and try again." I'm having a problem with BlackBerry link 1.1.1.26. I installed, removed and reinstalled several times and have not been able to find a solution. Once the link is installed and I have running, click on the "Sign In" button and then showed up with an error message saying "unable to connect to your BlackBerry ID." I was able to get the link to work yesterday by doing a complete uninstall of the BB and BB Desktop Manager link. Restart, running a registry cleaner, by restarting again and do a new installation of link BB. It now seems to work. I tried a few times and after several reboots it always seems to work.
Yes, I had checked before the windows firewall State, and there has been exceptions for active link. I also tried turning off the firewall completely and windows defender, but which had not worked.
