Fall of LTE 3G or H

When I make a phone call, the data marker in the top bar of the homepage of 3G or H switch, from the call, he still remains on H until the machine is reset, why?

LTE does not simultaneous voice and data more often, so when you make a call, you drop to 3G or H. If the H signal is stronger, then the Lte, you can stay on H for awhile. He should be back LTE eventually if the LTE signal is stronger. Who is your carrier.

  • BlackBerry Z10 LTE Drop on phone calls

I'm on the Bell Mobility network in city Edmonton Center with my Z10. I still have an LTE coverage for my Z10. When I run a phone call he begins in LTE with HD Audio then immediately falls to the HSPA network +, for the duration of the call (and I lose the HD Audio). LTE is good once I disconnect the phone call. For the phone call, I'm not walking but stay in the same place. I do not use my phone or also travel a lot so I don't have a lot of different scenarios to see if this is everywhere all the time. Has anyone else noticed temporary fall of LTE network while in voice calls?

I got a little more guidance on what happens here through some contributors of Crackberry, so I wanted to share them here too. Voice does not work on the current LTE network - that is to say LTE is just for the data so that HSPA + is for voice. So by default when you start a voice call unit must always go down to the HSPA network +. HD Audio works on the network, HSPA +, but you will have to call another device supporting it. More particularly the more advanced of iPhone5 Android and other Z10 devices. HD Audio does not work when it comes to fixed lines.

In my scenario, it seems that everything works fine. I rarely call other cell phones (in general I call fixed) so it'll be hard for me to 'test' and provide additional comments.

  • Randomly fall after iOS 10 LTE connectivity

It took 4 days after upgrading my iPhone 6 s, as well as for the new iOS 10 before I start to get my LTE dropping connection randomly. Cricket Wireless informed I replace the SIM card, it did not work.

Cricket wireless is a supported carrier?

  • Z5 double guard falling mobile data signal

Purchased and received my Xperia Z5 Dual of a seller decently well known on Amazon a few days ago. After putting my SIM card, I got mobile signal (advocate and text), but no data, so I took it to T-mobile, and they got that running. Since then, my freqnently data falls to zero bars of signal, then comes back to the top in about a minute then drop again a minute later. The wifi signal seems to do that too, although it seems to be in bars full all the time in my house, when I play a mobile game, I can tell he falls signal when it is lagging on every few seconds.

Should I return it as broken and buy a new one? I am inclined to think that the question is not on the end of my career, because I had no signal with this SIM card problem in my last phone, a very old Moto X. My friend suggested it was probably a hardware problem (specifically, the faulty antenna Board), but I don't know a lot about hardware, so I don't know whether to take his suggestion at face value or not.

    Hi anastvns,

Do you get the same results with WCDMA/GSM without selected LTE?

  • BlackBerry 10 flipping between AT & T LTE and emergency mode

    Greetings,

I am the proud owner of a BlackBerry Z10. A few days to receive the phone, I noticed he was constantly about-face AT & T LTE and emergency mode. I couldn't make or receive calls and text messages I've sent have often received several times. Here are the steps I took to try to resolve the problem:
    1. went to the AT & T store and had a new SIM card installed
    2. a few days later, I went back because the problem persisted. They provided a replacement phone.
3 conducted a security wipe, part way through interrupts him and performed a clean installation of a PC using link BB.
    4. called supports AT & T, who proposed to replace it with yet another phone. However, it seemed useful as I bought the original phone in Pennsylvania and he traded the first time in Texas - I don't think they would have the same 'batch' phones in geographically disparate locations.

I'm running out of ideas on what else could be the cause and would appreciate any idea that the community here could provide!

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick response!  I had two supplementary questions:

    (1) shouldn't the phone try to "fall back" to base of 4 G or 3 G in areas without coverage instead of going into emergency mode?

Yes, it should. But, if there is at all no cover, then SOS would be the only mode that has left him. You can always try to restart to see if this it helps find the signal. I discovered recently on mine as if I intentionally left the network radio mobile (for testing purposes) for 24 hours, then it will not re - acquire a signal the correct carrier without a reboot. Should not be the case, but it may be that the operating system continues to evolve.

    (2) signal problems you describe would be specific to the device?  I have a HTC inspired (try not to laugh) and a Samsung Galaxy Note II, which worked without problems in the same places.

    Everything is possible.

Whatever the root cause, if you got your Z10 of ATT and ATT is also your service provider, they are 100% responsible for all of your formal support. It is perhaps to dig deep, and even BlackBerry can information from you. But the only way to start any formal investigation process is by you contacting ATT to support formal and potential climbing up to BlackBerry.

    Good luck!

  • Questions of signals (s7 edge LTE - iPhone 7 Plus 4 G/E)

    Hey guys,.

I know there are a lot of posts on this topic but I can't really find the one that corresponds to this...

So I moved from s7 Edge for iPhone 7 more.  Since the switch, I have signal problems. Where, normally, I LTE 3 bars on my edge of s7, I now get 4g and E even on my iPhone 7 more. What is going on!!!  BTW, I'm on T-Mobile.

    Thank you

    Hey Greggaa,

Thank you for being a part of the communities of Apple Support.

If you get a poor cellular signal where you used to get full LTE signal, then it might be an update available for your iPhone carrier.  Please follow the steps in the article to check this update:

Update the settings of your company on your iPhone or iPad

    Take care.

  • iPhone over Verizon's LTE 7 / coward calls problems

I've recently upgraded from Android and buy my first iPhone. I like the phone, but it seems that the connection of data/LTE is horrible on the phone. I am constantly finding my phone is stuck on the 1 x or 3G connection and not being able to catch LTE in places I know are a LTE connection. In addition, sometimes my iPhone will drop calls. When I am I'm in my apartment, so I turned on wifi my component wifi works well, but other places, it deletes the call. Not sure if this is related to the issue of LTE connection. Does anyone else have this problem on Verizon?

I'm in my Exchange/return policy so I don't know what I have to do.

Have exactly the same problem: iPhone 7 more 256 GB Black Verizon. Pre-order the phone got on 21 September and after a few days without service drops to 3G and stays there until the toggle airplane mode or reset network. Went to Verizon 23 got a new SIM card and after a few hours, the problem came back. Next day went to Apple told them the problem they did exchange of unit that had to be ordered because he had no stock and 27, I got the replacement phone first day that it was quite good, but the second day, all the problems are back this time the phone has a whistle as well... so on September 30 , brought the phone to apple as well as the box and they said they can get a me another replacement and I refused it not knowing not if its released State and requested a refund, but Engineering did not repay because the serial number is different from the box. Fortunately, I chatted with Apple the previous day and received the email and talked to the Manager and eventually returned the device.

Back to my iPhone 6s now and no problems with the service even with VoLTE on. Don't miss the iPhone 7 more size and stereo speakers, but I'll wait until all the bugs and hardware issues are fixed before ordering again!

I had an iPhone 5, 5s, 6: 6 without any problems until one. I returned mine because they gave me a replacement not retail box with the same question. I want to keep the phone but has returned to be sure whether a hardware problem is present they will fix it on the line, so I'm going to order a new one.

  • Anyone having problems with the new iPhone LTE connection 7 on Verizon?

I am now on my iPhone second 7 with Verizon. I had four phones for me and my family. I have now had issues where I have no signal in the same areas where my signal allows to be strong. I can't solve the problem with the activation/deactivation of the airplane and then mode again in normal mode. My phone will rest with no signal for 5 minutes, then going to LTE with three bars. I also had the problem where I had only 1 x signal, while my son standing right next to me has LTE. And he had the same questions, where I'm on LTE and it gets no signal. I use to have LTE where I live and work all the time, now it's spotty at best. Apple has replaced me and my sons iPhones but not luck. Still do. Any ideas or an any other suffering?

    (1) go to settings/cell phone/cellular data Options/enable LTE and select ONLY the DATA. This seems to solve the problem (as a temporary solution) for most of the people affected by this problem. The bad part is your request might not be as clear (since they cannot use the highest LTE signals) and you can make calls and data at the same time. But it does not solve the issue.

    (2) there are rumors (but you didn't hear that from me that we only are not supposed to discuss beta software program Apple in this forum) that the new version of Apple Beta for iOS (which also includes an update of the software carrier Verizon to 26.0) seems to solve this problem. So, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • Iphone7 and questions of Verizon's LTE

I've recently upgraded to Iphone7 128 GB with Verizon. I am constantly having problems with LTE. My phone drops to 3 grams, or 1 x in areas that my partners (Iphone6s) phone still works like for LTE. I was restarting my phone or turning data cell power to overcome this obstacle, but it is not acceptable. To what extent it should go?

Yes, I recently saw that happen as well, as my 128 GB iPhone 7 has arrived.  I just reset my network on the phone settings and that may have contributed (see more bars at home now).  You need to try for another day or two.  In addition, this seems to be a more widespread problem, and Apple and Verizon are aware (http://appleinsider.com/articles/16/09/29/iphone-7-owners-complain-about-issues-with-bmw-bluetooth-support-verizon-lte-c...).  If resetting network settings does not work, I'll call Verizon to make sure they have something in the two weeks that I pay for LTE (not 3G) service.  Thank you.

  • Verizon iPhone 7 (black matte 128 GB) fall of Service

I got the iPhone Verizon 7 for about 5 days now and my service, while I'm driving continues to decline to 3G LTE and then no service at all.  Occasionally, he comes back after a few minutes... but usually I have to restart my phone and the service is back with LTE.

Anyone else having this problem?  This only happened on my 6 more with ios 10.

I have exactly the same problem. SIM has been replaced, and even the phone had replaced without help in the issue.

  • Home sharing a fall of Apple TV 3 rd gen.

I have two devices. A MacBook Air 13 inch (2013) and a new iMac 27 K 5 in. end 2015 (OS 10.11.6). The iTunes is the last 12.1.5.21 and once on the version previous home sharing would be cut at random on my Apple 3rd GEN MacBook Air TV is never a problem, just this iMac. Yesterday I fixed in signing off everything, leave iTunes, restarted my iMac, reboot of the Capsule of ancient times - not sure of the model, then by restarting Apple TV. He was working back. Then I just tried this and failed. Then, I am registered on the sharing House Apple TV and iTunes from iMac, restarted the router and voila it worked. Now while typing this it just cut off again. This is while watching videos streaming on Apple TV, the main reason I bought the thing.

Now I try the same procedure to see if it will work. Why - what is falling all the time. I am registered on iTunes, but Apple TV says that I am not connected. This is getting very frustrating.

    HI T - dude,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. From what you have said, it seems that for Apple TV streaming home sharing is cutting.  Looks like you already have a troubleshooting. There are a few things that we can do that you mentioned not try again. I recommend you read these articles, since this seems consistent throughout a few Macs, maybe it's a problem with the AppleTV.

If you use an airport or a Time Capsule, check the firmware updates.

  • iOS10: signs of fall of Apple? Ignore your instinct or it will destroy your life/turn off your iPhone

2 days ago, my world stopped.

It all started when there was a car, punctual on my iP5s, which demanded a "Activation is needed", without any reason... it's how Apple will present 10 iOS.

"The key in your Apple ID and password". Something, I never experience more than 15 years of use an Apple products.

So, because of the nature of the hostile approach. I hesitated and my instincts took over.

I thought it might be a horse of Trojan or a decoy to get my Apple ID and password. I ignored him. But I can't, because there is no other choice and I had to reset my iP5s.

.. after which the phone hung and asked the pin code 4 normal phone... but the screen has been hijacked and I have no control over the buttons... more I tried... the phone has been disabled. He invites to connect to iTune

When I tried to connect to iTune... He said "demand is not available..."

so I had to go to the Apple Store Service to Dubai... but when he told me the next available appointment is October 1st... .This is crazy and absurd

It is a definitive way to an Apple fall... If the approach is not changed

If you could explain your problem without the doomsaying and the histrionics, it may be possible to give you a few tips.

If you find my iPhone activated, you will need to enter your Apple ID and password anytime you restore your phone. This is for your protection. You are free to turn off the feature in the settings > iCloud > find my iPhone.

  • 7 Verizon iPhone is compatible with LTE of Verizon's Straight Talk network?

The answer to this question may seem like it's obviously - almost tautological - Yes, but according to three on three Straight Talk representatives (who claim to be supervisors) and one on a representative of Apple, he is not necessarily the case.

They all said there is no way of knowing without the IMEI of the phone, if it is compatible with the network of Verizon LTE/CDMA of Straight Talk.

I told them that I do not understand how an iPhone Verizon 7 maybe couldn't work on Verizon's CDMA/LTE network, if I try to activate it with a Straight Talk Verizon-network sim card. None of these representatives could give me a clear answer. They said quite simply the only way to check is to give them the IMEI number.

I said that I don't have the IMEI number, because I didn't buy the phone again, and my whole point on appeal is to see if I need to buy this phone, because I can't risk to buy it, only to find out that it is not compatible. In other words, I feel like I'm stuck in a Catch 22.

Why don't I just buy and return it, if it's not compatible? Because I intend to use my line of credit $ 1000 Paypal to buy electronic gift cards to target online and use the gift cards to buy the iPhone, because I don't have $1000 cash. So if I go back to the phone, I'll be stuck with a value of $ 1,000 worth of e-gift cards not returnable (that I don't need), a $ 1,000 balance on my line of credit of Paypal and no iPhone 7 - not a situation I want to find me.

(I would buy the phone directly with my Paypal credit line, but target didn't allow customers to pay with Paypal in-store, and I have to pay for the iPhone in store since I pre ordered for in-store pickup. I would have paid for the phone target, Best Buy, or the site of Apple, but so far, the only way to do, is to sign up with one of the four major carriers [that I don't want to do], or already have an account with one of the big four carriers [which I did not]. Meanwhile, the 'sim-free' [i.e., not tied to any carrier] iPhone 7 is not yet available at Apple, or someone else, with no word on when it will become available.)

Between me and my girlfriend, we have a 6 s iPhone and iPhone 5 c, that run on the network of Verizon CDMA/LTE of Straight Talk, so I can't imagine that the iPhone 7 would not. However, even Apple's site is not clear on this issue, as https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204039 shows that Straight Talk support LTE, http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ shows that the Straight Talk support LTE on the iPhone 5 C / 5/6/6 s, but does not support LTE for the iPhone list 7.

Straight Talk was told that even if the iPhone 7 does not end work with the Verizon CDMA/LTE of Straight Talk network, it should at least work with AT & T or T-Mobile network. However, AT & T and T-Mobile coverage *, where I live (as the Sprint of), so I really want to work with the Verizon network.

Can anyone confirm that iPhone Verizon 7 will work with the network of Verizon CDMA/LTE of Straight Talk, or suggest how I can get around this tricky dilemma?

I realized after posting the message above, it would have been better if I had written "CDMA iPhone 7" instead of "Verizon iPhone 7.

It would have been clearer I wrote "of Straight Talk Verizon network' instead of 'network of Verizon's Straight Talk.

  • Problem of LTE connectivity after upgrade to iOS 10-SE

Do not know if everyone knows this, but after upgrade to iOS 10 on my iPhone SE when I leave one area LTE and go to the services area or area No. less than LTE and re - enter a LTE area, I have no service. There is no service or reports 4g, but when I use an app, it says no network not connected. I tried all the usual stuff... Restored from backup, cleared cache, reset the network connections, did a hard reset, nothing works. The only thing that comes to LTE turns the phone then turn it back. All this experience? I have never had this issue before moving to iOS 10.

I think you have the same problem described here:

After briefly losing service, iPhone will fail to connect to the cellular network until you restart
