  If built correctly, you can check the checkbox 'Coercion' to the line of dashboard (you can not use a guest column for that!) and the task list would be forced by the selection of the prompt project.

  I would like to pass quick values of dashboard as parameters in a function as described below, but I'm a little hesitant how to proceed.
  
  In the physical layer, I defined a table in a select statement - something like:
  
  Select a, b, c
  table (minutevals.get_minute_vals (para1, para2, para3)
  
  minutevals is a stored procedure
  get_minute_vals is the stored inside on a function procedure
  Para1... para3 are input to the function parameters.
  
  Right now (for testing) para values are hardcoded.
  
  How can I pass values to a quick dashboard in the para1, para2 or para 3?
  Is it possible to define (editable by the user) session variables to receive the quick selection of dashboard
  and then use these session variables as the para1... para 3 values?
  If so - how can I do for session variables in the function parameters (use to evaluate?)?

• How to share quick values between dashboards?

  I have two dashboard pages. On the first page of dashboard, I have a few guests, say the year and month and a guided navigation link.
  When a user selects a value among the guests and click on the guided navigation link, you will see the dashboard page.
  
  But the values that the user has selected go to the dashboard.
  
  Lets say the user has selected in 2009 as the year and week - 10, like the week and refined of the query, and click on the guided navigation link.
  All of these values must be informed about the guests that do not exist on the dashboard that opens when you click on this link.
  
  Is there a way to do this!

  The prompt value guided navigation link of dashboard is not parsed. You probably use guests of different dashboard on every dashboard page and they are defined at the level of the page. Try to use the same prompt of dashboard in two pages of dashboard and dashboard upgrade.

• Calendar of the apex; limit values for each day/cell

  I'm working on a calendar widget to my page. The calendar will be specific sectors (using the abbreviation of sector space maximze) for each day. When you use the calendar, I noticed the sectors more you have, the cell for this day will begin to stretch down / vertically. I tried to change this so that a specific day / cell would show only a number of areas. For example, maybe one day 20 sectors are attributed to him, however, I only want to show 5 of them and then a text saying 'See more'. The text 'see more' will eventually be a link, but it's far from being the problem.

  I found that it would be limiting my calendar for showing that four areas throughout the month of November and not for each day / cell on the calendar. I am to discover that 'rownum' is perhaps not the way to go. I don't know how to specify for each of the calendar days rownum. I don't know how to capture every day / the Calendar cell. Maybe I need a more complicated or a subquery where clause. But overall, from my example above, the 1st show four of the sectors and then the link "See more", the 15th would show the four sectors and thats all, the 20th century would show four sectors and her "see more" link and so on.

  Shud threshold shown falling down the values and the drop-down list values invites is always GTE to 10 000 by default. The report shud display measurement values GTE 10,000 in the columns of 4 measure of the report written by deafult, based on the work of prompt and default shud according to the user's selection in the menu dropdown.
  
  I intend to apply it using the variable of the presentation, but when I select GTE in the command prompt, this option is not present. Please throw some light on this issue.

  Use is equal to the operator in the guest... change the show section for all values of sql result... after that, change the formula in the column to the case where 1 = 0 then else 1 end... now you can make a variable presentation... use this variable in your report with is liked this operator in your report... HTH...

  Hi Soni,

  I think what you can do is create a new group record query (use the current request of LOV + restrictions apply) and then the group record assing to the transaction of type LOV. That should do the trick, though according to what you mean by 'limiting values LOV' which could become more or less complicated. If the shape is changing somehow the LOV dynamically, that would be too complicated.

In the analysis, I applied a filter for which the given condition is invited. And in section dashboard_prompt for the same column, I gave the condition - equals. The report is the recovery right answer for this condition.
  
  But my query is, can I give a default value for the filter in the criteria section. Inviting the dashboard to confirm if select different value other than the default and run the report. It displays only the report that has been filtered for the default value or it will take the new value and run for him.

  Yes, it replaces the values of analysis based on prompt values dashboard filter.

  Ex: in your analysis filter you have defined as "India" column count and your fast selected value of dashboard is "Singapore" then the o/p will be replaced by the value of guest dashboard.

  Yes, it can be done. try to implement security at the level of your level of SPR for each each required user data.

  Go to your manage--> security--> users--> permission--> query limit--->
  (1) Jon---> add value site1 and site2 to column
  (2) David--> necessary complement of values
  (3) keep administrator--> as he is... he is fully entitled to display the data (site1, site N etc.)
