Faulty SIM to blackBerry Q5 re

I only got my Q5 two months that my sim card reader is faulty abd is more able to detect any sim card what so ever I have already sent to moblie workshop.com which I paid £30 difficulty too n have basically returned intact and said that it a. were fixed favourite I'm so frustrated with this and blackberry before I have had for example Z10 , can anyone advise me were is the best and cheapest place to my just replaced sim card reader as soon as possible? So did my mind already too return to return iphone 6 on its realized and unfortunately never look back

This happens usually when you use a sim card adapter into the unit. Insert a cheap adapter may damage the sim card PIN and make the device unusable. You will need to find a local shop to fix.

  • Z10 Do sim-free blackBerry phones sold through Blackberry remain unlocked?

Hi, I hope this isn't a stupid question.

I am after a Z10 Blackberry and want to use it overseas. I want to put a local sim card, while I'm abroad and then return a UK sim on my return. If I buy the sim-free Blackberry handset, that be possible? I can't find anything definitive anywhere and just want to know before you go ahead and spend the money. I have read that sometimes free SIM phones will be locked to the first network they serve, who obviously don't meet my needs at all.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated, thank you!

  • Free Sim Smartphone blackBerry 9700

I bought a new BlackBerry 9700 free sim card and put my T - Mobile UK SIM in there.  I have the BlackBerry Internet Service activated on the sim card and most things work correctly.  I get invalid APN of BlackBerry App World and Twitter unavailable services settings

Is this something I need to get some additional T-Mobile service settings or do I need to load an approved t-mobile BlackBerry OS version?

It turns out that I had BlackBerry Email but not BlackBerry Internet Booster.

If the problem is now resolved.  RIM could really do with simplifying their offer, I mean that not order Internet and Email on BlackBerry in any case

  • Valid question, no sim unlock blackBerry smartphones on Curve 8520

Hello everyone would be grateful for any advice. I just finished the contract with Orange in the United Kingdom with a Curve 8520. They suggested to address a 3rd party unlock code editor, as their internal system takes at least a month to give the codes. I thought it was weird, but hey ho... I therefore now a code release, but to the point where I type mped and am about to give the phone code, I get the message "no sim" valid", and I can't enter the code in. Mped watch phone locked to the network screen.  I wonder if the SIM card is corrupted or damaged in any way? I haven't used the phone for several months that I had and didn't want to pay for a kidney and my first-born on roaming charges.

Is there a non - SIM solution to unlock? I'm far, far away from the United Kingdom, in order to replace SIM Orange is not an option.  Thanks for any help

    Dave

Do you still have the card SIM Orange inside there? Have you tried to do it without a SIM in there or an another carriers SIM card in the phone?

  • 'Insert SIM card' blackBerry smartphones and SOS signal - sim and signal error

Hi, this is my first post so bare with me

My 9000 "BOLD", which ive had for a lil and now has decided to not give a signal more or even accept my sim card.

Ive tried a complete cleaning of the handset (and I backed everything up), remove and reinsert the sim card and the good old battery pull but nothing works and the problem is still there.

my phone is locked to t-mobile and I contacted them to help my problem, but they were dog-disorder absolute!

What do you think I should do here?

    Thanks in advance

If your phone don't like your SIM card and won't give you a signal, you should look into getting a phone that makes.

If you are still in your warranty period, you should walk to your carrier for a replacement.  However, before doing so be sure to do a backup via Desktop Manager.

  • Integrated GPS faulty - Bold 9780 - blackBerry Smartphones?

Hello to all members of this forum. Best wishes for this new year of the France!

I have a Bold 9780 (OS 6.0/863), use it for my work (phone company). Until last October 2012, my GPS did a very good job with a lot of applications, such as GPS Waze, Runtastic, Orange Maps, Endomondo road...

Suddenly, it works fine on 7 October, around noon.

Since then, I tried everything to fix my problem. Hard reset, uninstall applications, reinstalling with different versions, checked my GPS with LO + THE and position... still stopped at the point of contact information for my house.

All components are 'in', auto location is "inside" and when updating of situation... in waiting and suddenly a pop-up will explain that my bluetooth sytem (Volkswagen, in my car) is not reachable...

I live in France with a very good coverage, and I'm sure THAT's not because of my IT Manager: my colleagues very much use the same applications as me before and I phoned my manager who confirmed yesterday it was not blocked by the rules of COMPUTING strategy.

So is it really a bug about all these kinds of bold 9780 as I read before, or is not a good solution to manage this problem?

It's very annoying and if there is no solution... I think I'll ask an Iphone for Christmas!

Really need help solve this problem. I really need to use this GPS for my work (all the days on the road!)

And please: don't redirect me to the KB #... explaining hox to check the GPS. It has been done many times!

Thank you and see you soon.

    Christophe

No, you cannot access specific IT rules, your BES Admin would have to tell you.

Have you installed BlackBerry Maps for Google maps? I have found that sometimes or the other of these two applications can trigger the GPS to work.

  • Card SIM Smartphones blackBerry Question

Is it necessary to keep the SIM card in place or can it be deleted?

When it is used in North America exclusively and on the Verizon network, you don't need the SIM card, it can be pulled.  BUT he did not lose in case you need to use your phone on another network or abroad.

If I (or no matter what contributor) have helped you, please click "Bravo" in the post that you found it useful.

  • Card Sim Verizon blackBerry Smartphones

I have read that remove the Sim Card can clear up some blocking and reduce pulling the battery. Im running OS 4.7.0.109.  That I have no intention of leaving the United States is that true?  Can I remove it?

You can certainly delete it.  I have not had mine since the day 1.  Just keep a very convenient place where you don't end up needing at some point in the future.

  • Card SIM full blackBerry Smartphones after only 10 SMS messages

I just got my BB 9000 and took my old SIM card and placed in the BB.

On the card SIM was a few SMS messages (the SIM card is only 5 days old) and initially the BB seems to work very well. After receiving very little SMS' are I was presented with an error message saying that the SIM card is full and that I should delete the SMS messages to make room for the new.

.. After only 10 SMS' are?

I checked the Options-> memory, but it says nothing about the use of the memory on the SIM card and the other figures indicates that the BB itself has of course plenty of room/memory left.

I don't want to delete SMS' are all 2 days... Someone has a good idea on how to check the status of the real of the SIM memory?

  • Issue of SIM 8700 blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello world

I don't know much about this topic, so I apologize in advance if this is a silly question.

My employer gave me a 8700 BB to use many years ago. I want to upgrade the phone, but they see no reason to make it work always. If I choose to buy a new phone on my own dime, can I take the SIM card on the 8700 and put it in the new phone? I have had colleagues tell me, that's all that is needed, but it just seems too easy.

    Any help is really appreciated!

    Blake

Oh, and depending on the SIM card and the new feature that you get, you MAY want / need to get a SIM swap for a new SIM card from your service provider. For example, AT & T had about five different versions of SIM over several years, and while in general there may be no problem, if you have the SIM card in the 8700 for a few years, a new 3G device (for example, a model 9700 or 9800) may work better and get a better signal with a SIM from newer technology.

    Make sense?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM w / WiFi works only after changing SIM card not

    Hello

I need help (otherwise I would not write here). I have the Bold 9930. Until I left the States, my phone was working perfectly fine... I had an email, BBM, whatsapp, text, etc...

When I arrived in Haiti, I wanted to change my SIM card, then I would be able to use / have a number of Haitian. I don't have an international plan. When the guy put my the Haitian SIM, the phone asked my BlackBerry ID and password. I typed all the two, which were both correct, but he told me that it was a wrong password. The guy told me that the only way I'd be able to 'reset' from my BlackBerry ID would be to disconnect and to do this, it would eliminate all my pictures and everything. I didn't do that so I ended up buying a Haitian phone w / a Haitian SIM card.

At this point, I have two phones. An American with a SIM American (BlackBerry) and a Haitian phone with a SIM card that is Haitian.

When I got home, I turned on my American phone and its WiFi, but my BBM and emails were NOT WORKING! However, my Facebook application and the browser are both works perfectly well.

I restarted my phone several times since yesterday and nothing has changed. I checked this morning to see if it worked, but not luck.

So my question (s) / issue (s) is now:

    1. How can I get my BBM works again? (probably the most important)

    2. How can I get my email working again?

    3. is it possible possible for me to have my BlackBerry (US phone) work with my Haitian SIM card?

    Please, please, please, help.

Unfortunately, the device works as expected. Facebook, the wifi browser work fine on wifi but BBM and email REQUIRE a valid BlackBerry data Plan.

The only way to make it work is to have a BlackBerry data Plan on the Haitian Sim Card.

  • BlackBerry smartphones 9790 none his appeal

    OS 7.1.0. Bundle 2102 (v7.1.0.746, platform 9.16.0.159)

LENGTH: It's in the last 3 months or more.

PROBLEM: When I call someone or I get a call, I hear not the voice of the other person. However they can hear me talk.

DETAILS: First I thought that the vollume breakdown, but volume indicator is up. Just in case where I pushed volume keys several times from top to bottom and top - no effect. But if I put the call on speakerphone, I hear other people talking. If I put the earphones - I hear again anyone else. Problem is that if I want to talk normally - with my phone next to my ear.

PHONE speaker works - I can listen to music on the phone, receive calls and hear the ringing of the phone - speaker works. As I said, the problem is that when I want to talk about the usual way on the phone.

I suspect that it is software problem. Any ideas how to fix?

Needless to say - phone rebooted several times after that, battery was released and handed over to, so please do not ask me to just restart, without anything else.

    Thank you

PS: Just checked - current volume of his profile ("phone calls only") has the value 7, which should be ok.

I had this problem before with a blowtorch, the problem was caused by a faulty SIM card because she could not communicate properly with the network. You should see if your network will deliver you a replacement SIM card. If no, I wanted to recharge recharge the device through BlackBerry Desktop Software software.

  • Warranty BlackBerry Z10 Z10 blackBerry

Hello! I would buy a new SIM free BlackBerry Z10 (from Carphone Warehouse, which is the official seller of UK BB according to the page Web of BB). But I come from Hungary, and now I'm here in England, so if I buy a BlackBerry Z10 here, can I valid my guarantee also in Hungary, is it possible to do? Thanks for your replies!

As far as I know, Carphone Warehouse is not official for the Blackberry, just dealer one of the authorized dealers so that you know that you are not buying a stop on the black market. The warranty works only in the country where it is pronounced, so that 3 gave me a unlocked Z10 (I do not know how or why, but I am not it!), I always get a 2 years manufacturer's warranty.

If you left in the United Kingdom to return to Hungary, that your 2 year warranty would still be valid, but you wouldn't be able to get it fixed by bringing back to the United Kingdom and Carphone Warehouse so they can pass it to the Blackberry fix dept to get it sorted
