Feature touch screen of my XPS2720

The touch screen of my XPS2720 function does not work even after the bios update. the diagnosis says that he does not support stiletto and tactile.

Hi Lito Calie,

Thanks for writing on the Dell Community Forum.

Install the Dell's OSD Application using this link http://dell.to/1TGTcRa. If the problem persists, go to computer > Control Panel > Device Manager > Human Interface Device > check if the USB input device has been disabled > activate the touchscreen device driver if it has been disabled. Once enabled, restart the system.

Please come back if there is any other questions.

    Hello

I think that you need to install the driver for the Wacom tablet.
The driver is placed on the page of the European driver Toshiba
The WACOM Dual Touch driver for the integrated tablet is required to use the features of the tablet.

There is also the Extension of Tablet PC Package.
This package installs a range of important public services.
Utility _TOSHIBA of rotation: _ define the orientation of the screen by default as the system to be used in the transition from the PC to Tablet mode, or vice versa.
_TOSHIBA tablet PC buttons driver: _ you can dedicate tablet buttons to perform common tasks so that you can easily use your tablet PC away from your workstation. For example, you can dedicate a button to open a program or to change the orientation of your screen.
_TOSHIBA accelerometer utilities: _ these utilities are a set of material utilities that work with the integrated motion sensors you machine. With the accelerometer, your machine will be able to detect how you're holding it at one point. You can set the machine to perform a specific function when the device is tilted quickly left or right, either at the front or back. You can also take control of the cursor in some applications and move by leaning the PC in a certain direction.

But all of these tools are released for Vista when perhaps they will work with Win 7 too check it!

  • Menu popup blackBerry Smartphones No touch screen

This use to work properly, so I have no idea of what I did.  I use to be able to hold my finger on the screen and get the pop-up menu, now nothing.  It still works if I hold the trackpad, but nothing when I hold my finger on the screen.

All the other features touch screen seem to work well.

    I appreciate any help/suggestions.

    Thank you!

I have no problem with it on my end.  If it used to work, he'll probably be corrected with a battery pull.

With your phone, remove the battery, then replace a minute later.

Let us know if that does the trick.

  • SX2210T-touch screen with two monitors feature

Solution found by the user ES128 for touch dual monitor.
I've just set up a configuration of dual monitor with a SX2210T and a ST2220T on Windows 7. I got the touch features work correctly on both. As a first step, affecting either translated the entry only on the primary (the one that has been in primary school at the time), but after playing around with the settings I got work like I wanted. I tried several things, but I think that the right thing to do is go in the settings of the Tablet PC from the Control Panel window and press the Setup button next to "configure your pen and touch poster» There you will be asked to each touch screen and you're done. 2-point multitouch works on each monitor, but not both simultaneously. At one point, I went that one would be regarded as primary, and which caused the hand on a single monitor to take account of the other and vice versa. Following the same steps above again not straightened it.

    Screen touch troubleshooting.
    * Disconnect the 2nd monitor of the PC. Restart the PC so that it only displays one monitor in Device Manager. Depending on your operating system, do the following: -.
    SX2210T Driver (Windows 7 only)
    SX2210T-Touch Application
    SX2210T-Touch Cam
SX2210T facial recognition Application (no not necessary, only if you want)
    * Test the touch screen on the single monitor feature.

I don t have this model of laptop and cannot help you on this subject, but it must be described in the document s user manuals.
I also saw that this laptop has preinstalled software touch screen. Play a little with it and in the worst cases try to reinstall. You can find version 2.01.0020 page of Australian download for your laptop model.

  • Pavilion TS 15 touch screen quite feature

Had this laptop for Christmas, improved to 8.1, worked fine until two days ago when the function key for the screen just stopped working.  Boots to the splash screen, but only the touchpad works to move.  Nothing in support of HP or the forums. Troubleshooting Services can't find anything.

Maybe it's the first time I have answered my own post! I just downloaded a driver Qualcom Atheros QCA9000 series Wireless LAN to MS Win 8.1 that arises as an 'important' the site of HP Support Assistant update, there is little time. When it's finished, I rebooted and presto, my touch screen function was back. Of course, even if it doesn't seem to be any reference to the touch function, there is a link any. I tried updating the driver for the graphics card (Atheros Qualcomm) via one or two hours ago Device Manager that does not solve the problem. Then, a day and a half lost chasing a rabbit,... but... all is well that ends well, as they say.

  • Turn on Touch screen Pavilion 23

I have a Pavilion 23-B219c.    Only had about 2 weeks.   I think that, when I first put in place, there was a question about ENTRY and I chose '' mouse. ''   But now the touchscreen does not work.   How can I activate the touch screen features?  THX.

    Hi RobKes.

Some models of this machine offers touchscreen. Your manual click here.

If you are not sure if it is a model to screen touch or not. You can check in the control panel. Press the Windows key + C to open charms, type in the Panel. Open the control panel. Select system and security and open. Select system and open. This screen should tell you if it's a touchscreen or not. If it is not listed as a touchscreen and you chose this option, you can consider to return this model and make one with this option.  If it is a touch screen model and you still do not see the stylus and touch settings. as you suggest it, or that it's just about 3 weeks, it would be in warranty and you can call the HP support, you can be back to Best Buy.  Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836. • Satellite U920T - 10G - touch screen without any function

    Hello together,

I have been using the nice nice feature now for a few weeks and start to have trouble with him.

I have the problem that randomly touch screen without any function, I can touch the screen
but I want to, but without any reaction.

It starts just besides the requests or anything before, I just browsing in the web site and a second to another.

If I restart the PC, everything works normally again, I still using the drivers that have been pre-installed and have no changes for the drivers so far.

Any suggestions, what could cause this problem?

    Kind regards

    Hello

In my opinion, a process that controls the touch screen hangs or does not answer more and as a result, you can not touch works.

Recommend reinstalling the driver of Toshiba + Toshiba UE driver page system.
If this is not enough to try the system recovery and test the device with factory settings.

Have you tried to remove Office and test the functionality again?

  • Satellite U840T-103 - touch screen stopped working

    Hi, I have a Satellite, U840t-103.

The touch screen has stopped working earlier.
    I don't know why.

I think I have been juggling the project button, but I still can't get it to work again.

    Help, please.

    Hello

Touch screen don't need any special driver of Toshiba.
The driver is already part of Windows 8 / 8.1
That is why I don't think there is a software problem, but of course, I would recommend you to retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings using the Toshiba recovery disc just to check if this procedure would allow the touchscreen feature once more.

This is a first common procedure in case something bad would happen to the laptop or the system.

But if the system recovery doesn't help, the laptop must be verified by the service provider allowed for possible hardware malfunction. But let's hope, the recovery procedure would solve your problem.

  • How to disable the touch screen of the Toshiba LX830 - 11 d

    Hello

    I managed to break the touch screen on a Toshiba LX830 - 11 d.

The machine runs Win8 and always works with a USB keyboard and a mouse, although he thinks there are plenty of touch of the finger around the damaged area.

Is it possible to disable the touch screen feature so that I can use it as a 'normal' PC or remove the screen touch himself leaving a simple LCD screen?

    Thanks for any advice.
    Dennis

You see the touch screen in Device Manager? Maybe you can turn it off in there.

  • Upgrading Toshiba PX30t to win 10 - HID touch screen problem

    Hi all

im not an avid touch screen user... I rarely use when necessary or when the batteries in the mouse dies in the middle of my work and I have to continue with the screen.

When I bought my PC it was win8 and everything worked fine... until yesterday and after about 2-3 months because I upgraded to win10, I realized that the touchscreen does not work!

I looked at the forum for all tracks on this issues and I have seen that many complain of being unusable after upgrade win10 function keys. However I don't have this problem. that the screen has got the contact rendered useless item.
probably, during the win10 update the system decided to disable this feature, so no accidental contact on the screen could interrupt the upgrade process...

If anyone is aware of this problem and how to fix it... I would be really grateful.

    Thank you

  • Touch screen - Satellite U500

I recently installed XP instead Win7 on my U500. I downloaded and installed all the drivers identified support. I was delighted. Later, I realized the touch screen was the only function that did not work. It is not a driver specifically identified as touchscreen in the list of drivers to support for it.
So, is this not supported for XP?
It is in the list of drivers but in another utility named driver or Toshiba?
I install something in the wrong order.
I didn't see it specifically identified in the Win 7 Driver list

    Any ideas? BJK

I have the same laptop but I use it with original Win7 and didn t try to install Windows XP Home edition. I put t old BONES need more recent material.
This touch display under Win7 feature, to the N-Trig driver.

Unfortunately, this driver is not available on Windows XP Home edition. I checked the Toshiba download page and didn t find.

I'm afraid you have to live without this function of m.
