File ISO Bootable Cisco first Manager licenses 10.5

Guys,

I tried found Installation ISO for premium Cisco License Manager, deployed in a brand new installation of 10.x responsible for Cisco's Communication. The virtual machine will be independent PLM, I read the installation guide, downloaded the EGG file to deploy on the vCenter, but I couldn't find where is the file ISO of downloadable Installation of PLM, maybe I'm not looking for the correct download page site.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thank you

The ISO non-bootanle is here:

https://software.Cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286265616&flowid=... (2) & relind = & rellifecycle = & reltype = last

You can convert not bootable to bootable with some searching in google.

The ISO bootable must be requested through the tool SET.

We have installed in the Cisco Security Manager version 3.3.1 years back and now want reinstalled on the other server, but do not know the license key.

Please guide how we can find the license key.

    Thank you

You should be able to go on the Cisco license management portal and click on view existing licenses for licenses that are related to your CCE identifier:

    https://Tools.Cisco.com/swift/LicensingUI/QuickStart

You can even use the wizard to transfer the license on the new server as a Rehost license.

  • First management LAN CiscoWorks LMS or Cisco? Help

In my business, we look adds a network management solution:

Some time ago, we installed CiscoWorks LMS 3.2, but we decided to install on the other more modern solution, what is the solution which recommend me?

    Requeriments:

1 000 devices from cisco management.

    Regularly perform massive configurations.

Constant monitoring of the network infrastructure.

    Backups of configuration.

    We have two solutions:

-Update the current CiscoWorks to LMS 4.x version

-buy the "First Cisco LAN Management" Solution

    What solution that recommend me?

    Thank you for your attention.

    Kind regards.

    Hi Jeffersson,

The current product packaging is a bit confusing. Cisco is rebranding all of their management under the aegis of the first Cisco solutions. All prime products have a common appearance and take advantage of some approaches architectural.  From LMS 3.2 on 4.x will put you in the first territory of Cisco.

In the 'first' products are (among others) "Cisco first Infrastructure" (also known as PI - 1.2 is the current version) and "Cisco first LMS" (4.2.3 is current). Preferred Infrastructure (1.0) began in the successor to management wireless Cisco (NCS) product and had been adding features on the way to bring it up to parity with LMS functionality to wired infrastructure. He isn't quite there right now (current comparison here) that existing customers of LMS are usually advised to stick with the latest version of the LMS for now.

Still with me? Good. If the extra twist is that 4.2 LMS is "included" with licenses of FT 1.2 - see the link guide below. So, if you want LMS 4.x, you order indeed 1.2 FT with licenses "Cycle of life" according to the number of devices you manage. (There also is 'respect' and 'insurance' adding these new features of the respective licenses. Compliance is available from LMS 4.2 in the CAAM.  Insurance is almost a FT 1.2 functionality only.)

So my recommendation to you would be to upgrade to version 1.2 of PI and to install and to use the LMS 4.2 (4.2.3 and put patched up-to-date with all the packaging of the products). If you have a VMware configuration, deployment option flexible device (file eggs) is the easier implementation,.

  • Want to download a file Iso Windows 7 Home premium is this website legitimate or not

HI, I would like to reinstall Windows 7 Home premium on your desktop that I have at home because desktop came with an installation disk.  So, I was doing some research on the internet and I found the following site that says if you have the correct product key for your version of windows if the product key is correct, you can download an iso file on your computer and burn it to a cd or a usb key.  What I would like to now is the site following Web is a legitimate Web site:

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows7

I was wondering it is free no charge to download the Iso file on the site or I have to pay a fee.

I want to just make sure that is not an illegal site first and foremost, I do everything legal.

Thanks a lot team Microsoft for your help

The site is to give some problems.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:
How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:
What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

I need to strengthen my first to more management tools later in order to manage the two clusters?  Will it affect my 10.5.X apps if I do?

    CJ

You will need 11 PC. x to pick up new support of CUCM 11.x.

I would upgrade to the last PC which is 11.5 for APC and 11.2 of the CFP (although the CFP 11.5 released this month).  10.x apps will not notice the change.

Follow-up will show the results of these clusters of 10/11 and PCP knows the difference between the settings and services on groups of 10/11.

  • Can I migrate a virtual computer to a new family of CPU? -Cisco Call Manager PUB/SUB

I currently have 2 host VMware ESXi 4.1:

    1. Dell PER905 - running 16 x 2.39 GHz (core) CPU / Quad-Core AMD Opteron (tm) Processor 8378 (processor type)

    2 cisco UCS C260 M2 (BASE-2646) - running 20 x 2,393 GHz (core) CPU / Intel (R) Xeon (R) CPU E72870 (processor type)

The main objective is to move 2 VM of the Dell host to the host of Cisco, the reason is because Cisco Support said that the virtual machine requires an Intel and not AMD they are currently.  I currently have a Publisher Cisco Call Manager and Call Manager subscriber residing on the host of Dell, they are constructed (non - OVF) on this machine some time ago.  We started to have problems with them and ultimately Cisco indicated above.

A few questions come to mind, can someone please shed some light on them for me?

    1. can I migrate these 2 AMD to Intel VM, without her damage/destruction of the virtual machine?  What that is the answer may be, can you explain to me the why?  The answer to the migration of the CPU is dependent on the guest OS or what?  I ask because I did this successfully on a Windows Guest OS virtual machine, but I guess it is that Cisco makes me hesitate/question.

2 would it not be better to each virtual machine rebuilt on the new host, rather than through migration for the purposes of the CPU?

    3. What is the recommended method to endorse these VM, before proceeding with the migration?  I'm not talking about save data in the call manager for reasons that I will perform a backup it first.  I ask more along the lines of - for the love of the virtual machine itself.

You should be able to perform a cold migration. The concern is the guest operating system level.  The Cisco device is probably a Linux distro.  The distribution must use the AMD64 instruction set (Intel 64 compatible) and theoretically should migrate fine.  However, if the guest what OS was improved the AMD CPU instructions, he can expect these features when you restart.  We have at least a virtual computer in our environment that we need to stick to a certain family of Intel processor because the software license dig and binds to it, but this is the only scenario that I have met.

2 would it not be better to each virtual machine rebuilt on the new host, rather than through migration for the purposes of the CPU?

I feel better on the redeployment, but if the migration is successful and applications run stable, then you reaped just the benefits of virtualization.

You could do something as simple as the cloning of a copy.  Depending on how you are approved for vSphere, you can have the POS to back up your virtual machine.  You can also use a tool such as VMWare Converter or Veeam Backup and replication. Given the importance of these virtual machines, I would get at least 2 backups of different type.  You should be able to validate any backup with VMWare Workstation prior to migration.

  • Boot Camp supports only Windows 7 or later installation on that platform. Please use a file ISO of Windows 7 or later installation.

    Hello

I tried to fix this for hours, I hope someone can help me.

I downloaded the ISO "Win10_1607_English_x64.iso" (4.29 GB) file and with him came a "info.plist" (2 KB), so they are both on my 64 GB USB Drive (format: MS-DOS (FAT32)) called 'WINSTALL '.

I have the ISO on the USB key, and it is selected as the ISO image in Boot Camp. I also have the USB the disk of destination selected, and yet I get this error:

Your bootable USB key could not be created

Boot Camp supports only Windows 7 or later installation on that platform. Please use a file ISO of Windows 7 or later installation.

I'm currently under OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 on my iMac (21.5 inch, end 2012) that is compatible with Windows 10.

If anyone can help me I honestly love so much, I tried contacting Apple Support staff by phone, they said that they can't do anything, I tried to contact their Live Chat, but none of this has helped to solve the problem, and I tried to look online, but can't find too much.

Thanks in advance for any answer!

What OSX Version do you have? This site gives the requirements of Bootcamp: minimum system requirements to install Windows on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support. And you did an upgrade? Could it be that the upgrade will not correctly for the OS?

Looking at the 10 Windows version you downloaded, is the update of birthday, which was released less than a month ago. It could be that Apple is not reconisgin the Windows version when reading the disk, because it is too recent. I don't know if you have access to the download of the previous generation and do a Windows update?

  • Issue of integrating Cisco first Collaboration insurance LDAP

    Hello

I 9.0.0 - 24376 Cisco first coverage of Collaboration with lot of fixes 3, and although I added the LDAP protocol successfully to the server of the CPCA, and when I do the connection test it gives me connection is successful with the LDAP server, then I added users to the management of the users using the same user name as the user account on the LDAP protocol and LDAP user check.

but when the user tries to connect to the CPCA using his LDAP account an error message saying that the user name or password is incorrect.

    If the ideas please?

Insurance server connects with CN, not sAMAccountName in the LDAP server, make sure that you type in the user name as "John Doe" instead of jdoe.  Check if it works.

  • Cisco Security Manager integration with Cisco ACS troubleshooting

    Hi all!

I have a problem with the integration between Cisco Security Manager and ACS. I've done the integration, but the identity of the user system doesn't have enough privileges. I know what the problem is, but I don't know how I can change the login of the ACS to the local MSC?

I found a file that specifies the following:

    Q.

Is there a backend script or command line interface options to change the ACS to local CicsoWorks connection module?

    A.

To restore the server LMS ACS local user mode mode, stop the CiscoWorks

demons and run the following script:

    NMSROOT/bin/perl ResetLoginModule.pl

    (for Solaris)

    NMSROOT\bin\perl ResetLoginModule.pl

    (for Windows)

    Then, restart the daemon.

I did it, but does not work, any idea?

    Hello

I guess you can try to go through the question on WSC and GBA integration troubleshooting:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/security/security_management/cisco_security_manager/security_manager/3.0/troubleshooting/guide/rbacts.html#wp1043629

Few things might have gone wrong:

1 - this command must be run on the server MCS cmd prompt (make sure that you are not on the client computer)

2 - NMSROOT is the directory were MSC Server is installed. Is usually c:\Progra~1\CSCOpx

    3. you must stop the deamon Manager before performing this action (and restart)

For example if the directory is the one above to reset the connection locally, you can try the following:

net stop crmdmgtd---> that stops the daemon Manager (can be done by the services window)

    c:\Progra~1\CSCOpx\bin\perl c:\Progra~1\CSCOpx\bin\ ResetLoginModule.pl---> restores local authentication

net start crmdmgtd---> restart the Daemon Manager

Can you maybe try again and let me know how it goes?

    Thank you

  • SX 20 with Cisco Call Manager

    Dear team,

If I add the SX20 with Cisco Call Manager, do I need to install the software cmterm - s52010tc6_2_1.cop.sgn the SX20. If this isn't the case, then what I have to do, I can see only administrator external field in my SX20, where I gave my callmanager IP address but it is not save.

    BR

    Hello

In order to save the SX20 in CUCM you for CUCM version 8.6.2 or later, and your SX20 must be running TC5 version or a later version.

This file you mentioned, cmterm - s52010tc6_2_1.cop.sgn, is just a upgrade file that you install on CUCM, so that CUCM can update your point of SX20 endpoint automatically. But you can upgrade your SX20 manually using the file s52010tc6_2_1.pkg.

To get help on how to register to CUCM SX20, take a look at these guides with the name "administer endpoints TC on CUCM". The Guide according to the version of CUCM you run:

  • IPS Manager Express or Cisco Security Manager?

    Hi all

We think buy the license for the 5512 IPS - that of above (IPS Manager Express or Cisco Security Manager) is the right tool to read about management purposes? Or I can be selected? If I can choose either, which guy are you advocating?

    See you soon!

    M

How many systems do you have? If the number is high, the CSM is the way to go. Manage many systems (and keep them in sync with the same political) with IDM and IME is a nightmare. But if it is a single system, the EMI is the right tool for you. It works very well for the follow-up (up to 10 devices) and can also manage them (individually, it is not so easy for more then another system). And it's free.
