find the device

Hi, today my macbook couldn't not connet to my bluetooth headset. I did something stupid and removed the device and thought it will find, and maybe, this time it will connect. But it is not visible more in the bluetooth settings. Is it possible to insert and reconnect to this device?

Last night some udates have been installed automatically. I don't know what it is? It might have to do with this update?

Thanks for your advice

Hi, Salir518.

Thanks for the question, and we'll see what we can do to get reconnected to your MacBook Bluetooth headset.  Most likely your headset is not recognized by your Mac because it must be placed in pairing mode.  I'm not sure what headset you have so you will need to get the instructions for pairing online.  The manufacturer usually has this information available on their Web site.  I've included the steps on how to add this audio Bluetooth accessory to your Mac when he was placed in pairing mode in the article below.  Although this article refers to Mac OS X Yosemite, the steps also apply to the Mountain Lion.

OS X Yosemite: Configure Bluetooth audio devices

When your Bluetooth headset has been paired with your MacBook, you may have to modify the input audio or peripheral output to your headset.

Select a Bluetooth audio as the input to your computer or an output device

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click sound.

  2. If your device is intended for audio output (for example, headphones), click Exit. If your device is intended for the audio input (for example, a headset), press ENTER.

  3. Select the device you want to use in the list of devices.

Please let me know if I can be of help and thank you for visiting the communities of support from Apple.

See you soon

  • LaserJet Pro M127fn Installer cannot find the device on the network

    Hello

I just bought the product, but during the installation - setup is unable to find the device on the network. Device is properly registered to the address 192.168.0.14 (with static IP address), I can see the dashboard configiration at the same address via browser and all works well with the network itself.

Try to ping the IP - it's ok. Tried to install without active firewall - also fails.

Double checked the installation process - with automatic search and provide the IP address of the printer - both failed.

Also, I rebooted the router and the switch and the computer. Is not new. I also tried downloading the last executable configuration on the site - and even once, it fails with 'device not found on the network.

Then what do I do to fix this?

    Thank you

Finally found a solution. It is strange as it may seem, but after all, it's a solution.

-Rinse your DNS and your ARP cache (see the Google if you don't know what that means)

-Reboot the router (or, where appropriate - switches)

-Change the IP address of the device on your network. Try with round numbers like (192.168.0.20)

-Restart your router (and if applicable - switches)

    -Restart your computer (s)

-Don't run the Setup again and the hoprefully you will have no errors and everything works perfectly for you

If your problem, similar to mine, persists, repeat the above process again and again... and again...

    Good luck

    Hi all

I got a spot on place to locate the Cisco gear in our (hundreds of them), got the serial number but wonder if there is a smart way to find out where is this piece? rather than 'show version' on each device, then look for the serial number. Please teach me. Thank you very much.

    Hi Duke,

Thank you for using the Cisco Small Business forums. My name is Cristian, I'm a developer of electronic content, and I'm part of the small community of business support.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a method where you can directly find the device via the serial number. However, I know that Cisco's FindIT uses the CDP of Cisco protocol to detect Cisco devices in a network. You could hover over with the mouse device names and the serial number will be displayed.

I hope that this response will be useful, and I hope that you respond with questions or concerns.

    Hello ChengMY,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message that your iPhone 6 (which is updated to iOS 9.3.5) cannot find a new Bluetooth device and don't stop looking for him. What type of device Bluetooth you are willing to pair with your iPhone? The reason why I ask, is that there are only some that the iPhone supports Bluetooth profiles. Here is a list of the supported Bluetooth profiles:

    Hello

Have you tried reinstalling the audio driver with the driver of one or the other of Toshiba?

In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have.
There is a yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager now?

Maybe you should try to update the BIOS too. If it doesn t work it seems to be time to reinstall Windows. Maybe something messed with the registry or the system.

  • Linksys E2000 can not find the device!

    Hello

    I have Windows 7.

My ISP is a DSL company. I've been with this company for several years now.

I still have in my possession a wired router that I am currently using as my E2000 does not work.

In my computer, I have a network and a wireless network card. Both claim that the ' device working properly "in the Device Manager.

I tried to do the work of E200 for awhile now and I'm about to return it to the store and buy something else.

I insert the CD and I followed instructions more than once (even tried different things).

I always get to the screen that says:

We now set up your LinkSys E2000.

Please wait, this may take up to 5 minutes.

Aftetr awhile I get the message saying that it cannot find a device and that if I use a laptop that there could be a 'switch '. When this does not work I can plug in the back of my old router and it works fine.

I bought this router 7 days ago and it still does not work. I used to work for a DSL company and I was in technical support. I'm not a beginner.

Please help that this is the first time that I buy a product Linksys. I'm about to lose patience with this.

  • How to find the device is roaming

    Hello

I need to test if the coverage is roaming.

    I went through the thread:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=java_dev&message.ID=41137&query.ID=82...

    Who says

    boolean isRoaming = (0 != (RadioInfo.getState() & RadioInfo.NETWORK_SERVICE_ROAMING));

I tested it on the device and emulator and both give me the value.

    The RadioInfo.getState are '1' and RadioInfo.NETWORK_SERVICE_ROAMING gives '8 '.

and that's the reason why he fake retruning.

When I check the connection management option, it says that its on Roaming.

I have Blackberry Pearl 8130 version 4.5.0.66 (CDMA)

You must use getNetworkService() instead of getState().

        public boolean isOnRoaming() {
            boolean returnable = false;
            if (((RadioInfo.getNetworkService() & RadioInfo.NETWORK_SERVICE_ROAMING) != 0)

  • Can not find the device

I use the C6180 all-in-one printer.  I use the software driver or the newest utility on the HP website.  I use a relatively new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.6 and all updates.  I connect the printer to the network via LAN cable.  I can print to the printer very well, but I can't communicate with the printer to do other things, for example, copy or scan.  When I use the HP Device Manager and go to 'Information and settings' and select 'Choose the Device', no device appears in the window under "select your HP all-in-One device.  All of the tasks that I try expires because no device is found.

How to associate the printer to my computer so that I can use the functions 'all' of my printer 'all-in-one '?

    Thank you

    Mike

Solution: I have turned to cycling the printer, but that has not changed anything.  I then used the Setup Assistant, which I thought I had already done when I originally installed the software.  But I do not... I have seen a few pictures, I had not seen before and after that I saw an entry in the device dialog box.  Everything seems to work now.
