Satellite L735 take longer than usual to start

My toshiba Satellite L735 took more time than usual for what it starts (more than a minute, takes usually 40 dry) gave it to the service center, they said they will update the BIOS, optimized computing processor, formatted.

Again, it was beautiful, but the problem was back in less than a month, he took once again, the person at the counter just reduced unnecessary programs from startup list, came home to notice it took even more time to start (more than 2 minutes).

When I turn it on, its fine all get the logo windows in no time, but after a black screen appears and remains for about a minute and a half, then the home screen appears, the startup sound in windows that is supposed to play as soon as the home screen plays on 40 dry aftr homescreen appeared.

Help, please.
Thank you.

Hello

The laptop seems to load windows slowly because too many processes would be loaded initially.
First of all, I recommend to download and install the CCLeaner. This freeware tool would help you to clean the registry and remove the waste from the system.

In addition, you should check your processes that would be loaded initially.
Run msconfig and go to the Startup tab. Here you can disable any process necessary and not important.
I put t know how much computer experience you have so be careful with that.
If you n t know what exactly does the unique process, google for more details.
Remove a mark of close process will disable this you can later too

In addition, I would recommend checking your anti-virus software, I switched from Norton Antivirus software Avira Antivir because it is much faster and does not require a lot of hardware resources the Avira antivir is freeware software so you can install and use for free.

Last but not least to defragment the HARD disk in order to ensure access to data faster

Good luck

    Hi rap.

    1. do you get an error related to the question message/code?

    2. you did it any hardware/software changes to the computer before the show?

    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

Too many unused folders and subfolders can affect the performance of the laptop.

    Method 1:

Disconnect or disable any external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, sound card and graphics card etc.) except the mouse and keyboard and then boot\start the computer.
If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

    Method 2:

    Run the system maintenance troubleshooter.

    a. press the Windows key + W on the keyboard.

    b. type Troubleshooting , and then click settings under the search field.

    c. click on find and solve the problems.

    d. click on system and security.

I noticed Firefox slower than Google Chrome spear as well.

It's good to hear that Firefox is faster in safe mode.
Safe mode is faster because it turns off a lot of different modules, plugins and other things.

Maybe have a look at the plugins as well in the plug-ins section and disable those you don't use often.

You don't have to remove completely the plug-ins, but you can disable them also teporarily. In the menu dropdown.

To completely remove a plug-in you can uninstall the software that comes with it. To do this take a look at this article: remove the Plug-ins.

I don't expect Firefox to become as fast as Chrome, but following the steps above, I think that Firefox can speed up considerably.

Do not press the power button to turn off the computer or to solve a gel. Click on the ORB at the bottom left of the desktop and click stop. If you are having shutdown problems, then select the hotkey Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up the Task Manager and click the Applications place the cursor on a running application to select and click on the end task button. As the application is removed from the list, repeat the procedure on the next application in the list until all are gone from the list. If you use the taskbar to access programs simply close all open windows. Then, you should be able to shut down your computer.

  • Scans of partition take longer than a full table on a non-partitioned table scan?

    Hello

I have a PART_TABLE range partitioned table that has 10 million documents and 10 partitions having 1 million records each. Partition is based on a column named ID, which is a sequence of 1 to 10 million.

I created another P2_BKP table (do a select * from part_table) which has the same group of data than that of PART_TABLE, except that this table is not partitioned.

Now, I run the same query on the tables to get a range of data. Precisely, I'm reading only the data present in 5 partitions of the partitioned tables that requires theoretically less reading than when done on non partitioned tables.

Yet the query seems to take more time on a table that is partitioned only when running on a non-partitioned table. No reason precisely why is this the case?

Here's the query I am trying to run on the tables and their Plans to explain corresponding.

Have you actually run the queries, or you assume that they will take different amounts of time because the execution plans show different numbers?

It is clear from the output of the execution plan that the statistics are not very good, since Oracle should have estimated about 5 M of lines for each request. That said, however, Oracle should have used the counties of partition block level to estimate the cost of the analysis of the 5 score - and we could expect them to a total of less space than a full copy.

Of course, it is possible that your partitioned table has been the subject of many DML involving the line movement and line of chaining; It is possible he has been the subject of many lots of parallel or direct path loads inserts leaving much free space in each partition. It is also possible that you have created the copy in a tablespace that table of default compression!

What are the stats for the original table partition level?   (select nom_partition, num_rows, blocks of user_tab_partitions where table_name = 'T1' partition_position order)

    Hello

S far away I know that the eSATA port supports a hot swap function. This means that you can connect the eSATA drive to the laptop after windows system started.

Have you installed the latest Intel Management Engine Interface driver? (different chipset drive!)

Remember also that this driver AHCI in Windows 7 can be activated via the registry.
YPU may modify the following two values of subkey to 0:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-System \CurrentControlSet------Services------Msahci

WWas of problems with the battery on my iPad Air life. taken at the Genius Bar at Apple Store. they reset and set up to restore a backup, what they did before. When I go in the backup, it says still iPad is restoration. Should I stop & then restore again? Are they redo the apps that have already been restored?

    Thank you, Cheryl

    Hi cgibson,.

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

I see that you are going through a process of restoring iCloud on your iPad, and it takes longer than expected.  The speed to iCloud restoring has a couple of factors, including the speed of your wireless network.  For more information on why this process can take some time and how to follow the process, please see below:

Restore my device from a backup to iCloud takes a long time

Restoring a backup can take time because of the size of the backup or the speed of Wi - Fi network. For example, iCloud may take about 1 to 4 hours per gigabyte during a restore process.

There are several steps that follow:

    • In iOS 8 or later, check the status of the transfer on your device under settings > iCloud > Backup. If the restore process is in progress, the backup setting is gray.
    • Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet with reliable WiFi.
    • Make sure that your device is plugged into a power outlet.
    • Check the Apple progress bar that is displayed during the transfer of a backup.

If you need help, restore your device from a backup to iCloud

    Have a good.

  • Qosmio G20 147: start-up time takes a bit of time than usual

Greetings to everyone out there in the land of the QOSMIO awareness! My G20-147 boot time seems to take longer and longer. Why?

    Hi Franklin

In my opinion, it depends on the configuration of the personal computer and installed applications. As you start to process all applications listed in the Startup should start and if you have a lot of them that can take a longer time.

In my opinion that you should don t worry about hardware (HARD drive) the features but you should check what unnecessary applications start automatically with Windows startup. You can check it out if you go to START > RUN > MSCONFG > OK. Under STARTUP tab it has listed all the applications that start with Windows. Remove the check mark in front applications you don t need initially.

To make the fastest device also run Defragmenter and disk cleanup tools.

  • Applications take more time to load than usual upward

Welp, it seems that I am slowly solve all my problems gradually. I hope that you guys don't mind help me again. : s

So I just found out tonight that my programs take longer to load than usual. Like, for example say that when I open Windows Explorer, it normally loads the thing whole file in less than a second. But when I got home today, I discovered that it takes 1 to 2 seconds to load the screen. The computer itself is not so slow. My Internet is fine and I'm typing this without any problem. But keep in mind, I noticed what happens as soon as I logged in, then it may be nothing to do with the slow transformation or whatever. However, windows start on the "Windows is not stopped correctly - please select the startup option that you want to load windows" or something, and then there ' start it in Safe Mode "etc..
Although I stopped him correctly, if I recall accurately. I press the turn-off button in the start menu and let him do his own thing, so I don't know why it does this, because it normally only that when I "force close" my computer, aka holding down the power button until it turns off. Also, after I chose the "start Windows normally" option, he has been blocked on the 'Windows logo ' loading screen for about a minute before it instantly loaded to the top of the login screen.
I hope this is enough information. Although this could just be a simple matter to restart the computer to solve the problem. I will restart after I have this post and update on the issue. Also, I remove a Trojan recently. I know that the Trojan horse was not too old, because I recognize the directory or the program it was found, as it was a program that I removed. But I will now reboot and see what happens. If you guys have any other advice that would be great.
    See you soon!

Update: Yep, all I had to do was restart it. Ridicule me. : 3
Well, it works fine now. Hooray! : D

    Hi Lachlan,

Glad to know that your computer works all fine now.
