FindMe device disappears

I am running VCS 7.0.3 and internittantly users to send his client to Movi FindMe settings will be reset.  Has the user or our COMPUTER staff go back into Setup FindMe and reset it to pass to the device Movi.  This could be the cause?

Hi Martin

Is there any pattern to when setting findme disappear?

I could launch a recommendation to migrate to the new provisionin model, the exxtension of provisioning. FindMe management moved from the vcs to tms now and the new model is regarded as much more stable and scalable. The old model are removable in one of our future major versions of TMS, then it would be good to start watching it. There will not be additional to the old model of provisioning fixes, if this identifies as a bug.

If you still want to help out there I would consider open a tac on this case.

  • Several Airport Apple ID devices disappear shared devices and Software Configuration of the airport

We have three Airport extreme and two Airport Express devices in two offices in the city.  Some time in the last two days, they all stopped appearing in the sidebar of Finder 'Shared' category (if they had attached disk storage) and they stopped from appearing in the Configuration software of the airport on any of the Mac on these networks. (They always seem to be correct, routing traffic, however).

For a while, we left a desktop completely alone as a control group and did all our testing and troubleshooting in the other office.

We-hard reset (to the factory configuration) all devices from the airport to an office. They began to appear again. Then we started to re - configure them again.  At the time wherever we had updated the devices they had disappeared again.

So, another factory discount based configutations for each device to this facility. Then we added slowly in pieces of their configuration.  When airports have received Apple ID and associated passwords for associating with iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour (depending on what you want to call it), the airport devices disappeared from the airport Setup.

If we tried to configure another device from the airport to extend a network of 'invisible' airports, the new airports were "unable to find" one of these networks to expand.

If we reset all devices without providing them with Apple ID and passwords, they worked mainly as you would expect. The main difference being now do not appear as having been recorded as BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour devices.

One side for people dealing with this note: If your router are invisible, but they are configured to be configured from the EXTENSIVE worldwide network, you can use "File-> configure the other" and specify the address WAN of the missing aircraft and get this screen access as one would generally. From here, remove all the Apple ID associated with these devices, press "Refresh" to save the settings and they seem to reappear magically in the Configuration of the airport software.

In that State, storage seems to be available, but only for devices in Domain Local (direct connection). Airports without AppleIDs will not appear in the field to iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour, and it's as expected, given that these IDS is the means for the identification of their field.

If someone else has noted these behaviors and if so, have an idea about specifically when they first appeared? Is there by any chance someone who knows of any change in registration or the MWAC of multiplication?

Did you approach the problem exactly as I did in the past, and having encountered problems of the CCMM literally every version of OS X. They were all distinct problems with individual characteristics, and in some cases the solutions exist. Having said that the CCMM has been completely reliable recently - which means running the most recent El Capitan release on all my Macs. The initial versions (i.e. OS X 10.11 to 10.11.3 maybe) didn't work at all. I don't know which version fixed whatever the problem was, I am sure he has not worked for someone else.

The same real place with Yosemite and previous versions as well. CCMM did not reliable until the exit "point three or four."

Through these experiments, I believe it should be a pretty fast connection. If the connection between a Mac and all the others does not meet this requirement (whatever that is) all you will be able to determine, it's that the CCMM fails.

Apple is characteristically silent about the technical aspects of the CCMM, probably because of security concerns. Nobody outside Apple knows how it works. If you're still having problems, I encourage you to contact them. After mentioning predictable you corrective raw materials (the two following links) you will be put in touch with someone who will look to what is false, providing diagnostic assistance and send your information to engineering. If it's something they should fix, you'll know not to the point of an OS X update is published.

With all the conversations I had with Apple on this topic (which were many, involving a large amount of tests) not once they disclose any causal factors individual, other than to reiterate the need to run the last OS X, versions and the latest versions of firmware for their routers. In your case, that means probably that your Mac update to El Capitan. It is after all the very first recommendation in their document of support above, until you do this you will still not get in step 1.

Try reinstalling the camera driver. On my previous Asus link there is a click to download on that link. You must communicate your model number or click on 'Auto-Detection model '.

There is also a forum on the Asus Support link, you can try to ask your questions here.

You can also try the update of the BIOS available on the download link and then check if the unit is on.

  • input device touchscreen usb disabled and now the device disappeared

To summarize for those who want a short version:

    Model: Sony VAIO Duo svd11225cxb

    Windows 8.1

    a. my touch screen of this device is * outside? Any way to reinstall the driver for the touch screen? Tech Sony said that the material is very good.

    b. in my efforts to solve the problem, I turned off a device in Device Manager and it now gone, no way to recover?

    Here is the full version:

I have a Sony VAIO Duo svd11225cxb. After the recent updates, freaked out and kept touch screen back to the menu screen to start (and possibly other areas of the screen).

We decided that so that the computer to operate, it should disable the touch screen. So we went to the Device Manager and disabled the "usb input device" under "human interface devices" which associated with the touch screen. Allow us went then back to him and found that the unit had disappeared from the Device Manager. I tried to install the next window touchscreen driver, but that did nothing. Any advice?

    Hi herschen,.

Welcome to the community of Sony!

Perhaps the question is just the driver. We will isolate the problem by following these steps:

    • Power cycle - turn off the laptop-> flip the unit and look for a button cell or a pin hole on the bottom of the laptop. Using a safety pin, press and hold the hole for 5 seconds.

    • Reset the BIOS to the
    • Go to Device Manager -> right click and Uninstall the driver/s under Human Interface Device (DO NOT REMOVE). Then restart the unit. The driver will be reinstalled.
    • Run the Windows Update and Vaio Update.

    Hope these helps.

  • 13 VAIO duo wifi device disappears

I have the duo 13 red vaio edition and in addition to the very poor wifi performance, my SDIO card disappears from the Device Manager on once a week.  I need to reinstall the driver to help my computer "find".

Is the wifi device: Broadcom 802.11abgn Wireless SDIO Adapter

    Driver date: 17/06/13

    Driver version: 5.93.98.4

When he disappears, I can't see all wifi networks.  The device is MISSING from Device Manager and the only way to see this is to enable the devices hidden in the view menu.

Any suggestions on how to remedy without a reinstall every time would be very useful.  Thank you!

(Patches to the strength of the wifi would be useful as well, but there is another thread, I have taken on this topic.)

Hi, the driver you have is the last version of accredited driver Sony. I just want to know a bit more about what is happening on the part of driver wifi. We received many comments on the wifi feature (which can be caused by the driver being "hidden" in the Device Manager) lost until you restart. It is an accident in Win8 across all series Vaio models. When the device becomes hidden in Device Manager and when the computer is unable to see wifi networks, it also loses the switch "wireless" in the settings of Windows 8 PC? If this isn't there, say, just plane, Bluetooth, NFC are the only switches, you just need to restart the computer. Reinstall the driver causes the computer must be restarted. If restarting the computer, the problem is mitigated until its next occurrence. This question is quite different from the wifi signal that is covered in a different thread.

  • T61 - Blue-tooth device disappeared

    Hello

I have a T61 (7659-A96) and the blue-tooth device was available a few months ago.
Because I use to connect other devices using BT, I don't know exactly when the availability of device came to an end.

Now, I can not find the device. The BIOS Setup is not not present BT on/off function. BIOS version is LENOVO 7LETB9WW (2.19) 06/06/2008.

I don't know if this model has an independent BT card or if it is integrated motherboard.

    Thanks in advance.

    Expedito

    I found the solution.

I was expecting to find a Bluetooth on/off function in the 'Network' of the BIOS Setup screen.

But the Bluetooth is disabled in the PORTS of CONFIG/SECURITY/IO configuration of the BIOS.

After I change to "activate" the Bluetooth works great.

    Kind regards.

  • Device of the HP DV6 - 3010ax HDMI disappears

    Hello

I have a dv6-3010ax and when I first log in, I see the HDMI device in the playback devices, but when I plug the HDMI between PC cable and my TV panasonic, the screen flashes and turn it on again (so it reflects now on TV), but the HDMI audio device disappears - so I do understand not all HDMI audio.

I've updated to the latest version of the HP bios and the ATI drivers, but it keeps disappears whenever I connect the cable.  It never reappears until I connect and turn it back on.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thank you

Fixed - if I plug the HDMI cable, and then close the windows session then reconnect, it works.  Moreover, if the laptop is turned off and that I plug the HDMI cable and start, it is very good.

But if I unplug it or let the computer to get to sleep, it stops working again (i.e. disappears from the list of audio devices).

  • iRACS disappear from the list of devices

Hello, I am fairly new to OME and its peculiarities. I'm under OME v2.0 and see something strange in the Manage > screen devices where devices disappear.

I have an iDrac which I created a record in DNS.

I created a new folder of the range found in the discovery tab and inventory that has SNMP and WS - MAN active. I created a new range of discovery in my new folder where I have added the DNS name of the iDrac. After you run a discovery & inventory, it appears in devices such as an unknown device.

I ran the Dell troubleshooting tool (v3.4.0) and it showed that the public SNMP trap is not activate on iDrac (WS - MAN worked a treat). I enabled SNMP on iDrac, but when I ran other inventory, it has disappeared from the OME > Manage > devices. If I disable SNMP iDrac and rerun the inventory, it appears again.

1, why what is happening? Where does go? 2nd, how do I get the iDrac in devices without him being unknown. Which I suppose is possible.

Thanks much for any help you can give.

    John

    Hi John,.

IDRAC don't disappear when you have already discovered server, rather the iDRAC correlates data and the server. Thus, the entry you see under Server, the same must be replicated under the CARS. You will not see an individual entry separate CARS separately, instead, it will be an entry replcated of what you see under servers in the RAC group. If this is what happens then its all good.

  • Satellite R630-14 days - after that update of Skype cam sex disappeared

Update for Skype 6.6. the Webcam has disappeared. not visible in Device Manager. multiple downloads webcam drivers are not running. Active BIOS. Machine to restart several times.

What to do to install web cam software again?

    Hello

To be honest, I can't understand why webcam device disappears from the Device Manager list after Skype update.
I mean even if there is a software problem (compatibility issues), the webcam must be listed in the device as an unknown device manager.

However, by default, some devices appear not in the list. To include hidden devices in Device Manager view, click view and select Show hidden devices.

However, I assume you are using the Win 7 system.

    > are not running many webcam driver downloads
On the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find the software for the webcam.
Perhaps, new version of Skype damage something in the registry. Recommend to uninstall the Skype first. Download and install the repair such as CCleaner tool. Clean the registry and restart the laptop. Now, try to install the webcam software once more. Restart the unit and check if you can use the webcam using a webcam installed too.

  • Missing audio device of the control panel.

Several days ago, I opened the control panel to troubleshoot an audio device. The Control Panel showed two audio devices:

Both devices are still listed under system information/system/components tools, but:

At some point during the configuration of the device from Realtek, ATI device disappeared from the control panel. Since then, I have found no way to adjust its properties, much less put on the control panel.

The only other change observed: formerly the computer sounds internal (startup, error, stop, etc.) remained internal. Now, I can hear them through the external speakers - acceptable but not optimal.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

Could you post back with the full or part no of your PC model No.  Also, could you confirm the operating system you are using.

  • Satellite L450 - lack of wireless device

    Hi guys

I have a Satallite L450-181 and had to install a new hard drive with a new installation of windows 7 Professional.
Everything works apart from the wireless device when I install the driver for the device disappears I find it use msinfo32 and it seems that there is no ID and where it has demonstrated its error code in Device Manager indicates 12 "destitute".

The device is a realtek NIC 8191se.
I tried different drivers but none worked I've searched forums to find similar errors, loads and none were actually the same problem I have the active wireless switch. When the driver is installed for some reason, it keeps disconnecting and I can't reconnect.
Someone at - he had this problem and found a solution for her because she makes me crazy?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    Please try this:
Go to BIOS (press F2 during boot) and set the BIOS by default (F9), and then save the changes (F10) and restart.
Then download the driver Portal Toshiba WLan Wlan:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

Install the Wlan driver and check if the wireless network card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager.
Usually the Wlan could be marketed by using the FN + F8 keys.
The FN keys would work if install you the VAP and Flash memory card Support utility. Note. The VAP should be installed first.
I use the two tools distributed satellite L550D series two is working on my old A210 and I can enable and disable Wlan correctly.

  • I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

    Hello.

I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

    1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

    2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

"Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

    I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

I am running the application as an exe to build.

I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

    Concerning

    Stephan.

    Hey Stephan.

The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge. To do this, please see the following document:

Dynamically that I can load and unload a DLL in LabVIEW?
