  I'm not sure of what has past. I don't have firefox reset or clear my history/information. My computer was in trouble the other day (had it made for many and it froze) but I don't understand how that could impact firefox I have yet all my documents on my computer.   Is the toolbar in the toolbar area? If you switch to full screen mode, this area will usually slide upward and out of sight. You can switch between normal view and full screen by pressing the F11 key.

  Usually, an additional toolbar in the toolbar area is added by an extension. Oddly enough, your "more details of the system" does not show an obvious extension of Yahoo!:

• Second firefox.exe appearing in the process in Windows Task Manager...

  Hi all!

  I started facing this problem a few days ago and do not know what is the cause:

  In my Windows Task Manager, there are two firefox.exe that appear under the process (under Applications, Firefox only appears once). I used to complete the process to close each of the firefox.exe that appear and the result was special. Depending on whether one I finish, either the window closes completely as well as all tabs or hangs the tab that is currently open and I get the message: "bad new first: this tab broke down."

  I scanned my computer with AVG for viruses and everything was clean back. I've also scanned with ESET for malware and nothing was found.

  Any idea what I can do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

No other search engine returns the results in a column on the left. It's as if the guest user drags it results to the left column and the display became the default. I have disabled all addons (I didn't have any) and run in safe mode, the problem persists. Aspect is default 25.0.1

  As indicated, I restart in SafeMode (shift key hold down at the start of firefox) to "reset" my favorites.
  It restarts in safemode, but no "Firefox Safe Mode" dialog box does not appear... so I can't reset the bookmarks toolbar by using the option "reset toolbars and controls.

  Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible.

  • Firefox menu button > Options
  • View > toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
  • Right click on empty toolbar space

  Use the toolbar (Customize) to open the Customize and set the toolbar to display items.

  • Make sure the "bookmarks toolbar items" are on the personal bar
  • If "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the palette of the toolbar in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
  • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
  • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar configuration

• Can I delete the folder titled "Old data from Firefox" which appeared on my desk?

  About the old folder of Firefox that strangely appeared on my desk - then - I delete it? I like a clean house. Didn't read where someone asked this question and got an answer. He has been there since March 10, according to the properties button. I just noticed it. But I don't want to delete something where I can lose the extensions or something else. If it is just a backup, can't just get rid of him. I don't know what to do with it anyway.

  If you have not noticed any missing data after reset of your, you can delete this folder, but I think that it would be better to archive somewhere where it doesn't bother you. Perhaps to create a balance of things folder you will empty on new year if you don't need then.

  Open a cmd.exe window:

  You will need to install the ReminderFox extension in the new current profile and copy the RF/folder/files in the folder "Old data Firefox" in the current profile folder.
  You can also check the RF extension Options/preferences to see that there is an import function to import data.

  When I try to enter my customer number to connect to my online banking Web site, an error message reads:
  This form has been re-introduced. Re-enter your customer number and only submit once only.

  When I called the Bank to see if they could help they said it was a browser issue and suggested I should use IE or Chrome (no thanks!).

  I went through all the Firefox suggested remedial troubleshooting including deleting cookie files. I have not yet tried the reset Firefox because I was expecting a simpler solution before taking this step.

  I tried to re - access my banking site mode normal firefox as a test and that the problem is still there, so I will now review the last above help link:
