first start/re-start

When I start first of all my computer in the morning or if I have to restart during the day my home screen appears quickly, however the icons on the home screen or of the clock or down by the clock icons have no room for a few minutes and it never happened and I made no changes to my computer for months.  I don't know what the problem is or how to fix.

Something is running in the background that is either having a problem

Most OEM computers have a partition on the hard drive, that allows to give it bought as provided.  Usually, you activate this feature by pressing a key or combination of keys when the first splash screen appears at startup.  Look quickly at the first screen that appears, and you could see the key that you press.  Otherwise, go to your computer manufacturer's website and download the manual for your computer.  Instructions must be there.

    Printer: HP LaserJet CP1515n

Material: iPad 3, iPhone 4 (both iOS 5.1)

Software: HP Home & Biz 4.1

First the good stuff: fine everything seems if I print directly from home & Biz (Png, Jpg, PDF). Top to bottom, from left to right all very well.

The bad thing and why I post:

    1. I received the email with an attachment, e.g. PDF.

2A. I opened the PDF and open the PDF file in home & Biz (First Start, App) closed.

    3. The PDF is displayed. I opened the preview before printing.

4A. is my printer and the status light is GREEN.

    5a. I could print. I am happy

2B. I opened the PDF and open the PDF file in home & Biz (already open App and another document has been posted and printed before).

3B. The PDF is displayed. I opened the preview before printing.

  • BSOD on first start since February 17, Win 7 64 bit - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

As of February 17, I had a BSOD whenever I first start my machine (at roughly the screen black with the Windows logo, but before than the blue welcome screen) - this is an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The machine reboots and asks if I want to enter a mode of recovery or start normally. In fact, the recovery mode doesn't have the only time where I've tried, but the machine boots normally if I choose to boot normally to the usual "Windows did not start properly" black and white screen.

    3 x external hard drives
    Xbox 360 controller
keyboard and mouse are plugged into the PS/2 ports via USB to PS/2 adapters

Nothing has changed except the last raft of Windows updates 13, which caused a problem or something fell. First start always travel on - same question on the 21st, 22nd and today. However, after the initial accident at the start, asking to start Windows normally results in all the fine to come and stay there until I have reboot (same collision model) or turn off, and then again the next day (same model of collision).

I'm afraid that this is the beginning of the end for my machine, but all this modern bar game installs (curse you DRM) is saved on my drives external is not a total disaster if it will die.

Try to uninstall Norton Internet Security and see if the problem resolves.

Then you could reinstall Norton Internet Security.

    Hi nancyd91281316,

If you purchased from a subscription to Acrobat, you simply activate it by logging in with your Adobe ID and password. In the dialog box of the trial which appears at startup, click on this software license and enter your Adobe ID and password.

Please let us know how it goes.

  • Cannot access the local admin page after first start

    Hello

I am not able to access my newly purchased RN202, SN 45Y2535W003FC. I just plugged the power cable and turned on, but the power light keeps blinking even after hours. The NAS will connect to my local network with the ip 192.168.178.32 and ends by RAIDar under this address. However, the local admin under https://192.168.178.32/admin and https://192.168.178.32 page (even with http://) is not accessible. The connection is not accepted (cannot be connect-page in the browser). Also access more ReadyCLOUD is not possible, because the NAS cannot be discovered. Currently, there are no hard drives in the NAS. I also tried to insert a HARD disk already formatted in combination with a factory reset, but it does not work with the same result. It's already a replacement unit by my retailer the first device showing the same behavior, so I excluded a technical defect. What I am doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards

    Patrick Schmidt

OK I found the solution by myself. Without a HARD disc inserted the NAS will not start correctly. As mentioned, I already tried to insert a HARD drive and then do a factory reset. Now, I saw that I have is to not properly place the HARD disk. If you open the lock on the grid (the thing in which you put the HARD drive), then you can not insert in the case completely and do not connect the connector of power und data. Maybe a little more detailed manual on it (for Dummies like me) would be useful. Argh...

  • First start of time without battery

I ordered a HP Pavilion G6 2051SD and in the meantime that it I plan on what I'll do once I gett it.

Well part of it, is that I won't be able to keep my hands of it and wait for the battery to charge. So I was wondering if there are harmful to the laptop if the first time I started it would be without battery. I have heard many different arguments on how to deal with a battery, but nothing about the laptop.

What is more, it's a laptop that I intend to use most often connected. So is - that it is better if I keep it at full capacity or more around 50% is stored?

    Hello

When your laptop arrives, just insert battery, plug in the power adapter and start the machine.  It is quite Ok to be implemented the specification - the battery will continue to charge while you do this without any problem.

It is certainly very well run Notepad on just the AC adapter - if you're going to be doing this for the extended period of time, drain the battery to about 40% before storing in a cool place.

Regarding the maintenance of the battery once a month, reinsert the battery, turn the machine on and let the battery fully charged.  Unplug the AC adapter and let the unit run until you start getting a "low battery" warning  Completely load it again, then let the battery drain to about 40%.  Shut down the laptop, remove the battery and store it separately in a cool place.  Repeat this procedure each month will help you keep your battery in good condition.

If I restart the virtual computer, the service starts successfully. I checked before I reboot and the correct GPO shows such as applied. Entries in the event viewer indicates that the GPOS are detected and applied (and this is confirmed by the political group management snap-in). After the virtual machine restarts, there is an entry in the event log application that start the service of Persona that was not present on the initial startup (once the machine has been fully implemented). If the Persona service does not start, the user won't be able to connect for 10-15 minutes, after which they will have a blank desktop and the taskbar with no icons (it's on windows pro 8.1).

I could script restarts the virtual machines, but that should not be something that needs to be done.

Suggestions on where else to look at?

The problem ended up being the master VM that children have been cloned wasn't in the OU to run persona. Once I put in the unit ORGANIZATION appropriate, forced a group policy update and restarted; the persona service started successfully on the master. Took a snapshot and recomposed in the pool and everything works as expected.
