  A few weeks ago, I bought a Satellite C660-115. I want to surf the internet anywhere in my house without any son/cables.
  On the first day, I had this problem: when I disconnect _power_ cable, the wireless connection will stop working.

  The Web page on my screen will always be there, but a new page loading is a problem.
  It is sometimes useful to recharge (by pressing F5), - sometimes not. It is always useful to "ip address of repair", but not for long.

  The only solution is to atach regardless of how much power the battery has still the power cord.
  When I do, it is no problem whith the connection at all.
  I went back to the store where I bought it, they related to their own wireless network and they have had the same problem after a few minutes. In the shop too attach the power cable solved the problem.

  So the problem must be in my lap top, not in my network (modem or almost).

  Doesn't this all seem familiar, and if so, how can I solve this?

  Hello... I have problem with wi-fi/lan connection. I work in a school with about 100 children. The problem is that some computers/phones/laptops can connect normally to a connection wi-fi/lan but some cant. The internet icon actually shows normal connection, but you cannot browse the internet. When this happen the only thing I can do to help temporarily change the mac address of the device with software changing Mac and which usually resolves it. So maybe the problem is that too many devices are connected at the same time or mac addreses interfere with each other or something. I have tried almost everytnig, reseting routers, change the settings of the router, changing channels, etc. of mac filtering... It was working fine before. Maybe you can help. P.S. Sorry for my bad English :)

• Intel 3945ABG wireless connection only works for a Windows profile

  I have an Inspiron E1705 with Intel 3945ABG WiFi and my Windows user profile it keeps me gives error msgs. On the other profile in Windows, it works fine. The first problem I had was when I started once I got an error saying that Intel wireless has been updated of the profiles, please wait. I looked into the Task Manager and found zcfgsvc was running 50% cpu. Now, if I use Windows to control the connection I can connect, but whenever I try to open the Intel PROSet / Wireless, I get: Intel framework MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I also received a msg saying that zcfgsvc has a problem as well. I downloaded the latest driver, but which is not good. Is it possible to get just a new installation of the software? or would even help? I don't know that I have a disc with which, since that it is pre-loaded from Dell. Please help me, it drives me crazy!

  Here is how I fixed it:

  Go to control panel > network and Internet > network sharing Center

  Click on "Change adapter settings" in the left pane.

  Right click on your map. Select "Properties".

  There will be a box titled "this connection uses the following items."

  Uncheck anything that looks like it was installed by a third party (AVG, Avast, ZoneAlarm). In my case, the culprit was 'HTC NDIS Protocol Driver", who was installed by the software of my phone (HTC). Because it's not obvious what to uncheck, here is what I currently have checked in my system of work which should not cause a problem:

  KEEP THESE CHECKED:

  Client for Microsoft networks
  QoS Packet Scheduler
  File and Printer Sharing
  IP v6
  Internet Protocol v4
  Driver Link-Layer Topology Discovery map IO
  Link-Layer Topology Discovery recall

  Uncheck everything else.

  Go to network and sharing, disable and re-enable the adapter.

  Maurizio salute, I asked you to a problem with the free dictionary. I found the solution, which in fact was not technical. In case someone else has the same, that's what I did not understand: when I highlight a word in a text in a language other than English, the dictionary gives me an explanation in English, i.e. 'not found word', but when I then press 'Search', the dictionary connect in the appropriate dictionary.   Hi just bought this laptop for my daughter Toshiba L50-B-1NM 15.6 inches processor Ci3 4 GB 1 TB and wifi only works if he was sitting next to the router.

  I think you should consider a fact: the L50-B-1NM Satellite was equipped with an Intel 802.11ac + card agn combo Wifi/BT.

  802.11 AC is a new WLan standard that isn't taken care of by all old WLan routers.
  But of course, the standard 802.11 A / G or N must be supported by older devices correctly.

  I think first of all you must check if the wireless performance question isn't related to energy saving settings. I guess during wifi problems, the laptop uses battery power
  In this case we would use different power plan settings.

  Please check the settings that are in the advanced within the current energy saving Central WLan power settings.

  Where this doesn t help you solve the problem of WiFi signal weak, you should contact the authorized Toshiba maintainer to check the connection to the WLan antenna.

  Generally, if your Mac works correctly in Mode safe, but not normally, then you have a third-party software that runs at the start of the origin of the problem.

  Safe mode disables most of the extensions of third-party startup and some Apple hardware, so it could be another problem for Apple, but I have never heard of your problem.

  I see that you have some problems with printing from your PC to 10 Windows for Deskjet F380 all-in-one printer. I can help with that.

  Here's what we will do:

  1. If the printer is connected to your PC via a USB cable, remove it.
  2. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
  3. Right-click on your printer icon listed.
  4. Click on remove the instrument.
  5. Repeat for all other icons printer listed.
  6. If you have removed the USB cable and plug. If not, click Add a printer to add to the queue new print.

  At this point, you should be able to print. If you are unable to do so, the next thing to do would be to start printing and scanning doctor. You can find the Print and Scan Doctor by clicking on this link. It will be either allow you to print, it will provide you with a list of questions, he found. Has worked well for a long time, when issue print from a device, the printer icon bounces and messages 'no connection' so stop printer, and then turn it on again and prints. For a few minutes. Next print, have to start all over again. Any thoughts? Thanx.

  Support was terrible. Checked to make sure that files and available wireless network. I had downloaded and installed the drivers. Reset the router and it is up and running again.

  On my dv7-4295us w / Win7 - 64 bit, SimplePass only works with IE8/9. Use IE, suddenly me in connects to the listed sites. With Chrome or Firefox, suddenly won't open the password manager. After scrolling to and by selecting the entry with the correct connection info, an instance of IE opens and connects me.

  If Firefox is set as the default browser, one touch opens the password manager. You select the Web site, a warning message (Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (dpql) is not associated with any program.)

  If Chrome is the browser default, one touch opens the password manager. The selection of the correct entry, results in a new instance of Chrome to open to my home page.

  BTW - the link for help does not (never) bar of tasks or SimplePass inside.

  Welcome to the Forum!

  Firefox will work with your version of SimplePass, called Digital Persona.

  The limitation is that you must use a PREVIOUS Firefox version: ~ 3.6 28

  Download of Firefox 3.6.x

  If you're ready to do this (use the old version), then you can use all the sites to your connections and also use the HP connection to access your account on your computer when it starts.  This old version of Firefox also works very well with IE8/9.

  You can update Firefox to the bosom of the version 3.6.x, when they ask... just don't get excited and upgrade to the latest Firefox or Simplepass balk.  Tip: You can keep a copy of your download 3.6.x autour just in case you lose the installation or something else happens and you need to reinstall Firefox later.

  IE8 is quite Rocky.  If you have no choice, be it, immediately update IE9.

  I don't know about Chrome.  Couldn't get anything to work with it.

  SimplePass flavoers Digital Persona and HP SimplePass 2011 / 2012 are MATERIAL dependent.  This means that your computer hardware dictates what kind of software SimplePass, you should run on your computer.  If you run Digital Persona SimplePass style, you must continue to run such - at least for now.  The software code is different, and are the two types are not interchangeable.

• LAN Connection stopped working on my computer running WIN XP MEDIA CENTER

  My LAN connection stopped working on my WIN XP MEDIA CENTER-based computer. I have access to the internet with optimum online. I have a router connected to my cable modem (US Robotics) wireless and desktop with the functioning of the wired connection stopped. My wireless connection on my laptop works very well on the same network. I first stop the modem, router, computer and re started at all. Modem Router 1 2nd, then on computer. Usually works, but not this time. Contacted optimum online and went through some procedures to correct the problem. Open cmd prompt, ping tried only to get 3 of any answers and 1 reply. Tried ipconfg / renew, did not work.  Firewall had closed during all of this. Service representative from optimum online said that he could see my modem was working but something like a firewall was blocking my computer access. Tried ipconfig/all and gave him the ip address he asked which showed, 169.254.80.196, he said that address will not work and we continued trying to renew the ip address, and we could achieve.

  Now I mention here that this problem occurred when I had a power surge while I was online. I rebooted and this is the problem that I was. I asked the rep optimal online what else could be the cause as a virus or damaged surge my LAN or OS and he said for me to try to get in touch with microsoft and perhapse they could help me more. I hope someone has an answer for me.

  Did anyone find that their rockets only works in MTP mode in Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty? MSC mode connect and I can watch the base file system, but each folder appears as empty despite the files it contains.

  Ah, problem solved! A person on the Ubuntu forums noted that files stored in each mode are invisible to the other on the computer, but seen in the player as one. Good things!
