  I'm at my wits end with my Blackberry Torch 9810.  I have very little text messages in my Inbox, I lost the lot for some reason my phone has decided to change some date & in the future and trying to resolve that, in my opinion, I wiped everything, do not know what I did a few weeks ago, but they disappeared.

  Now I get notifications that my SMS Inbox is full and I need to delete messages.  Can someone help me I have a lot of messages on the handset and cannot believe it is complete unless there is an option I need to select/deselect.  The user guide is useless.

  I changed a parameter in the past as text messages seem to be endangered if they were in a month or so old, but all that I did I can't and don't know how to handle all my text messages myself.  My old iphone allowed me to keep the text as long messages I wanted with what appeared to be a very large storage area, now I just want to throw this thing in the bin.  Unfortunately I have 18 months remaining on my contract (business) so I can do nothing about it.

  There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

  Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and fixed (size: 512 MB in your case) space that is available to the House of the OS itself, as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs).   Hello. I had a BB Bold 9650 for six weeks, and the 'o' key is out.  Verizon sent me a new free, but I have text messages that I really want to keep.  If I do a backup of my phone, which will exclude my texts or is it possible to save them for the transfer?

  I am open to any downloadable software, with which I can save my texts.  But I checked my options in the SMS section and the inside of the text itself, and there seems to be no way to save these texts is to the card by e-mail, the PC or the media.

  Would appreciate any input from anyone before I go ahead and switch phones.  I have maybe just live without "O" key and keep my existing phone.  Sounds crazy, I know, but I really want to save these.  There should be a way to save and transfer all back to the new, I hope.  Searched the web for two hours looking for it but no luck so far.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

  Hello:

  Earlier, I added photos contact to all my BBerry Contacts.  It worked perfectly for quite a while.

  But the last 2 weeks (or more), when I get a call I get no resources and no contact photo.  Just the number, which, if I don't recognize, I'm going to ignore.

  (The reason why I have the names and photos is so I don't have to memorize numbers.  )

  The contact photos are always in my contacts list, so nothing happened to them.  And ss as much as I know I haven't added new applications.  So I'm puzzled as to why they would suddenly stop showing when I get a call.

  Anyone know how I can make them work properly?

  I would recommend to check if you have encryption enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone or press card. Go to the Options-Security Options. If it is enabled, disable it and try again then take out the battery.

  No, as I said, they are available in Android apps which you call is able to run for the right amount of.

• Locks of software upgrade for blackBerry Smartphones

  I had problems with my touch screen not working not.  After searching online it was suggested that the software might require the upgrade so I downloaded it.

  Now, my phone got lock up to 16% of the backup is complete.  I can't at this point that every time I turn the phone on it get to the same point and stop.  The battery hold a charge then over heating and I have to turn off the phone and remove the battery.

  I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '.   Can someone help me on this. I have a Bold 9900 and bought two months. Only yesterday, I installed and uninstalled a few apps for my bb. Then when I tried to use FourSquare app, then an error "error at startup FourSquare: net_rim_bb_media_plugin Module not found" is displayed.

  Not like that, I can't use my 'option' button where "error from net_rim_bb_options_app: net_rim_bb_timezonedynupdater Module not found" is displayed.

  When I googled the problem, I can not find, but only one, so I noiced some missing module can do my media cannot be played. Then I checked my media files, and Yes, I can not play my fav songs! It displays "cannot read content.

  I have a problem (and so do all my colleagues) with BB Bold 9780.

  When someone who has the phone # and the name etc. are stored in calls from address book me and my device is locked (it gets locked if not in use for 10 minutes) what I see on the screen is the phone # of the appellant, but no name. If the device is not locked - the name of an apperars to the appellant as well as the #.

  It's very uncomfortable, because I don't remember the number of all the people in my address book, so when there is no name - I don't know who is calling you.

  I'm sure this can be fixed somehow, since such a basic feature can be a real problem for Blackberry...

  You must go into your Options > security settings and under encryption, turn off encryption for the address book or contacts.
