• Germinate by HP: 3D Capture the bad screen to scan

  We just have our 3D capture stage delivered today and we are super happy, but we lack a few difficulties. For some reason, the scan seems to occur in the first screen: all these black and white lines are appearing on the computer rather than on the Sprout workspace (this applies to all both with 3D capture step and without capture 3d stage). Works still fine Capture app, we are able to take pictures of items. But the 3d Capture does not want to go to the second screen. Don't know what to do.  I am running Windows 8.1, I installed all the Updates Wizard HP told me.  Any ideas?

  With this new version, the 3D scanning is much faster than version 8.1 of Win and also creates a better image as well.

• Video imported via LR mobile capture a bad time in the desktop application

  I use LR Mobile on my iPhone 6 s + and it is set to enable automatic import in a specific collection. When I import a series of mixed media (photos and video), everything syncs with my desktop computer as expected--except the time "capture" read incorrectly in Lightroom Metadata panel. Oddly, this does not affect the sort order in the library module (I keep generally things sorted by time of capture, and the videos are in the right order, even if they have the wrong time listed.)

  Example: Below, I pasted a series of four files - two videos, in square brackets on each side by two images. They appear in the correct order, even if the time of capture are not sequential. Worse still, the video capture time are not off by an exact number of hours (what I could fix using the zone offset), they are disabled by an amount that varies randomly around 4 to 4.5 hours.

  I pasted in the metadata Panel under each image information.

  Has anyone else seen or noticed this?

  Looking more closely, it does not align with UTC vs my local timezone, so exactly 4 hours or 5 hours depending on whether it is summer time. Please confirm that this is not just me, Lars!

• Capture of bad quality. Possible problem with NTSC/PAL?

  Hi, I'm an old Panasonic (NV-GS30) cam DV capture but I think that the captured video quality is lower than expected. My only idea is that it could have something to do with my PAL/NTSC settings. I can't choose PAL in the menu custom presets. It is only in gray on NTSC. I enclose a screenshots. Any ideas?

  Could it be the cause of my problem?

  Yes, it's because you've chosen (or default) selected a NTSC project preset to the startup splash screen. When you open PE7, click new project, and then at the bottom of the window that opens, there's a drop down... you must select the preset PAL DV (standard or widescreen). You cannot change the format once the project is launched... that is why it is grayed out.

• HP designjet 800ps eprint and sharing - banding issue

  Hello world

  I just installed the eprint & share for my designjet 800ps program. Its great and seems to knit as a rip and image very quickly compared to the rights to print of lets say photoshop processes or similar. The issue I'm having is that it's really bad banding. If I print the same file with better and more detailed photoshop selected image are perfect. However, the same file with the same print driver settings and also choose best on eprint & share and there terrible banding.

  Can anyone offer any help with this?

• Alternating the problem of Capture DV Mono or stereo

  I'm captures old video tapes digital (not analog bands although it happened there also) in v.2015.4 Premier Pro. From a single band that I captured several segments. The video is very good, in all but one of the only audio capture happens on a single 16-bit stereo channel as it should, but in the first capture of the Ribbon comes on 4 different channels 16-bit - Mono 4. Channels 1 and 2 are probably L & R tracks although I see no difference in the waveforms. Chanel 3 and 4 are empty. The original recording is in stereo. It is a bit of a pain because two audio tracks need to be adjusted independently and not as a single setting performing simultaneously the two L & R. I can miss some audio information too. Is there a way to set capture and audio settings always comes as a simple stereo channels, I can't find.  Or?

  But I think that I thought about it. I got to thinking a little deeper and more logically. It is only the beginning of a capture of Ribbon and remains so through the balance of this particular shot, no matter how long. In addition, I realized it only happens when I start the initially absolute capture of the band, on the head or the Virgin band HDDR. When I moved the band on a spot just a few images in the recorded video real audio capture although stereo. As I think about it, it makes perfect sense.  There is a signature on the tape for audio, or mono or stereo, as the capture begins. The default value must be mono that it holds in all of the capture.

  Problem solved.

• How can I force a rerender in Premiere Pro cs6

  I have a clip in my first CS6 project... I made my whole work space and everything was ok, but a clip. The clip got a bad record and I can't understand how to force rendering it...

I changed a few settings on the clip... the preview works well but when I change it back to the way I want it. he see that he already has a job of rendering and charges that one and even if I made any workspace it will only rerenders for like 3 sec not like 4 minutes it should do...   as I said the end played clip on the Preview on screen set but after that I made my whole work space, it is corrupt is. I change anything on the clip as economicus not to read data prerender, it works fine. just at the moment where the render bar is green its mested all upward.

• Help! PrPro 5.5.2 and nVidia 285.62 on GTX 285

  OK, I had posted about this over a month ago in the main forum and thought that I had solved the problem, but he's back. Unfortunately I can't find my original message to resurrect as Jive seems to have deleted my history of the position beyond two weeks ago... :-(

  In any case, I bought 5.5 PrPro to work with images of RED Epic and installed alongside my 5.0.3 on Win 7 x 64 Ultimate. I ran all the (5.5.2) and then updates on my first startup received the message that I wouldn't have CUDA support because there was no active CUDA installed card. I knew it wasn't a good cause, I used CUDA always 5.0.3, so I checked and found that my drivers have been clearly exceeded. I updated my drivers nVidia nVidia site, rebooted and restarted the PrPro. Everything worked very well. Until I had to export my first video. During export I constantly got a nVidia Driver error, saying that my system resources does not match what was required by the program (something on this topic could not get small enough packages for the video to process card), and he had to close. Closing the box pilot error nVidia also force PrPro quit. I discovered that I had no problem to run without CUDA, and could successfully export my video. However, I can't afford the time to run without CUDA because it significantly speeds up processing time, especially with multiple layers of epic sequences.

  So finally, I did a full clean and reinstall the entire system, starting with the most recent non-beta drivers available for the nVidia card and put only 5.5 on the system and fully updated in 5.5.2. He acknowledged my CUDA card and there is no problem. I worked offshore and on the (very light work at Christmas) until today when I dug in my big epic project and started doing some basic settings the scale and speed on some clips and a few CC primary with the CC RGB and Three-Way CC. I often get the same error message from nVidia that I was me before I did the wipe and re-install and it kills my workflow and productivity. I turned CUDA backtrack again this afternoon to get this a chronology finished and exported, but I really need this back.

  , What has changed on the CUDA support between 5.0.3 and 5.5.2 who screwed up things with my GTX 285? And what should I do to fix things and get them operational back? Before the clean and reinstall I tried several versions of the nVidia drivers, roll a few back as far as I could go and keep CUDA support and the new drivers beta that Ann and others had recommended. Unfortunately for buying a new graphics card probably is not an option since I have already spent over $ 2300 in a few months on hardware and software upgrades.

  As a reminder, my other features of the system are as follows:

  Then this morning when I arrived I supported the allocation of memory PrPro back up to 6 GB (6 GB leaving for other programs) and so far I had no accidents, despite some heavy CC and cutting... Hope that this trend continues. I'm still working with 4 k files on a timeline of 1080 (even if the timeline is a timeline of RED, and it's the same settings with respect to everything else).

  If I can verify that this is a memory problem, I'm going to submit a bug report at first... unless 12 GB is really too small to work effectively with such things, I find it hard to believe that since I have never had a problem with this before with 5.0.3 or earlier...

• PrPro any CS4 avi pressed for 4:3

  Hi all

  I am new to this forum and a very occasional user of PrPro so patient with me.

  I'm a cameraman on films and TV shows and I try to collect clips from work via internet and change them in Premiere Pro. Currently, I have images in various formats, including VOB, MKV and AVI Xvid and use river past video Cleaner to convert them to AVI. The file is converted to AVI and I tried a lot of DV, Cinepak codecs, and others, but she always translates the images being pressed to 16:9 in a frame 4:3 (black bars on the left and right) seen in PrPro.

  I know that this isn't the best method and welcome to all councils. What is the best file type to use in PrPro? Who is the simpleist to convert? Should I not use PrPro for this at all?

  PrPro CS4 V4.0

  To this mix of images, I would choose the AVI DV/DVC and if the original material is Widescreen, select this setting.

  Now, and especially with images converted, PrPro will miss the flag to display 16:9 wide in the header of the file. When this happens, go to the item in the project Panel, then choose interpret footage. Here, you can set the IRON on screen 16:9 wide, and who expected to force PrPro to use the big screen.

  PS - happy you convert this film, MKV, DivX, Xvid, and many others just flat CODEC will edit not in PrPro. A lot won't matter not yet, and those that do lack often video or audio. Good first shot!

• How to import a DV camcorder - what codec?

  I want to archive my mini-DV camcorder tapes by capturing their video with first Elements 3.0 (I have a newer version, but don't have 3.0 on my XP machine having a port firewire i / f).

  I managed to capture a single band and I see a series of AVI files (as expected).  I have two questions:

  Is it possible / preferable to capture video in dv format only (with no recognition of the jumps of timestamp and no wrappers)?

  Y at - it any loss in .avi compared to tape files (i.e. different codec is / are there other options)?

  I don't remember not the E3. but there may be a setting that says you can deactivate scene detection.

  If its better depends on your workflow. I would not only a single file. Lost work to cut out the bad pieces.

  None of the wrappers? AVI is a container of wrapper / there is no other choice.

  Band to computer transfer is alone. No loss. AVI is the best solution.

  ATR, a contributor on this forum, has worked with several users who were not doing good program PrE 8 downloads. Don't know if it's the trial, or the complete program. Most of these threads are very recent (over the last week or more) and must remain on page 1 of the forum.

• Context menu (including all the other menus) does not work after a while.

  I use ubuntu 12.04 LTS, 33.0 firefox (thunderbird also same problem).

  I have to close all firefox windows to make the menus work (make an another new firefox windows does not solve problem)

  The problem this menu would not be displayed (menu popup and also normal menus) have not been reproduced approximately 2 days.

  I have not try your solution because I had planned to try your solution after I encounter the problem again.

  Only difference when I got problems with menu meets it is that I ran firefox from terminal invites no task bar of the unit...
  (I expect to capture some bad newspapers of the terminal prompt when I encounterd new menu problem)

  Maybe it takes other hours or days before I met the new problem or there is a possibility that I could not this problem again until I do some changes (restart firefox from unity...)

  I Equium M50 (59th) and am bitten by an update that pulled my touchpad and keyboard. I did the new installation of XP Home and have all updated drivers and everything goes well. The last update, what I can't understand is for

  The update addresses all kinds of questions like I'm having and is an update recommended driver detective, I use offten.

  The problem is that it says uninstall the drivers for the i have installed already and when I do it it hits off my USB mouse me leaving no able to install the new. When I reboot it installs those I don't want not reinstalled.

  I put the SIMs 2 by the same carrier (US Cricket on AT & T network), and only one fixed for 3G services is able to registered on the network. Others will pick up signals forever.

  This is expected behavior? Do mutiple SIMs work only with different carriers?

  Given only the card SIM used for the data connection works on 3 G / H +, the other 2 are forced to work under 2 G band, so you need to check if your carrier supports 2 G connections. (some carriers use only 3G and 2G superior, works on homelessness)
