Forget Windows 8 - network problem

Hello

I have a Toshiba Ultrabook personal running Windows 8.

I need to get to use my laptop at work, I worked at the College has a 'domain' and 'guest' of wireless networks. The domain network is mainly for computers wired Ethernet, but also offers a wireless access, for staff. The problem is personal has only one login and if I connect on the wired computer and then connect to the network without field wire, it hangs on my main computer.

I understand that I need to go to the networks > connections settings > manage known networks > then click on the network to forget so it will connect is more.

However the main question that I have this domain is not listed in my known networks, so I can't forget it. However, when I view the networks along the right side on windows 8, it still appears in the list, indicating to connect automatically.

How can I remove this network if it does not appear in the list of known networks?

Thank you very much in advance for any help

H  :)

Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

  • Windows 7 network problem (network computers and devices slowly filling)

When I started > network, the list of devices fills very slowly.  A loading bar going across the top for about 30 seconds to a minute and devices do not show up until the bar is almost completely through.  Must not fill as they are discovered... and why is taking so long?  Also navigation within folders my network is just as slow and large file transfer is slow as well.

    Thanks for your time,

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Every time that you open the network list, Windows is designed to rescan the network for devices. Unfortunately, this is normal and there is not much I can do to change that.
Of course, plenty of time to detect devices and transfer files can definitely be caused by the type of network. You are currently connected via a cable ethernet or WiFi?
Also, try to update the drivers for your network card and see if that helps. It would also be a good idea to try the connection in SafeMode with networking to see if the problem persists.
    Hope this helps!

I would like to ask if someone succeed PAN configuration between battery Toshiba BT and SE P990i?

I have it set on Debian Linux and it worked like a charm, but it does not work under windows xp. P990i connects to the laptop but it lasts forever.

Strange thing is that I've successfully connected two laptops using BT PAN without problems.

  • Windows Update/network adapter problems?

I have a Dell Inspiron Duo which is running Windows 8 Pro ('not supported' by Dell for this model). Very well, everything seems to work until about a week before, when I installed an update (I think KB2792100 or KB2797052), and now my laptop cannot find or connect to any wired or wireless networks. The icon on the taskbar displays bars signal grayed out with an 'X' red on them, and when you pass the mouse over it, it says, "not connected - no connection is available. I did a system restore, that uninstalled software more recently installed, as I expect to, but network problems remained. Windows Network Diagnostics has been as useful as ever (he did nothing), and tries to install a driver Windows 7 led to the BSOD and an other-system restore. Can anyone help? I miss the Internet :'(

    Hi Magikarpet,

It can be upsetting when the network connection fails to run after an update. You can try to install a driver Windows 7 in Compatibility Mode and check if the network is enabled. You can download the Windows 7 drivers from the following link by punching in the serial number:
    http://Dell.to/QjjZDA

Please follow the steps below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

    1. right click on the program icon and choose Properties.
2 when appears in the Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab, and then click Run Compatibility convenience store.
    3. in Compatibility Mode section, select run this program in Compatibility Mode for box and select the Windows version of the program you want in the drop-down list.
    4. click on OK and then run the file again.

  • Windows 10 - nested with Hyper-V network problem

This occurs in all versions of Windows 10 as host including last leaks.

Host: Windows 10 - vmware workstation. Role Hyper.V.

No problem creating Hyper-V virtual machine in VMware Workstation.

When you create a virtual network in Hyper-V (bridge), features network correctly, but when you restart the computer host, you lose connectivity to the network. Disabling the virtual card and returning it to allow, the network recovers.

Apparently, it seems as if it was a mistake for windows 10. But when Windows 10 is installed on a real machine, there is a good network connectivity (included in the system restarts), so everything indicates to the virtual network interface which offers vmware.

    Kind regards

DHCP and IP manual the problem happened.

But... I have found the culprit.

    On the host computer:

Disable the "Connectify" filter, the problem goes away.

The funniest is that with this filter enabled, if the guest is windows 8, no problem. If the client is Windows 10, when problems occur.

  • Network problem in HP Pavilion 15-n209TX.

So, I recently bought a HP Pavilion 15 n209TX about 15 days ago. He runs the 64-bit version Windows 8.1.

The problem I encounter is that I can't connect to wifi at long distance... it disconnects after I go beyond around 7-8 meters.

The beach is within the reach of my card, but it can not connect. ;/ quite strange.

As soon as I approach, it will connect automatically. But not connecting not when I go beyond 7-8 meters.

    For example,.

It shows me this error "unable to connect to this network.

I tried various solutions, but it ended up the same.

What I tried a - 1. Bios update and the network drivers.

    2. Uninstall and then reinstall the card wifi again

3 forget the wireless network and the establishment as once again.

    4. Turning to the coast of the "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" and DISABLING 'Roaming sensitivity' in the settings of the card.

None of the above worked for me.

Surprisingly, it connects automatically when I'm sitting next to the router

  • Cannot download the software due to a network problem

Hi all I'm on MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inches, end of 2013).
I try to install Windows 10 with the version downloaded from the Microsoft Web site.
I finished uploaded and am trying to use Boot Camp to install Windows 10.
However, I faced a question and it is that he "cannot download the software due to a network problem".
I'm stuck here for an hour and I can't find a solution.
I did all right until now by the following online tutorial but it prevents me to continue.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thank you.

It is a very common problem. To fix this, first try to start your Mac in safe mode by following these steps-> safe mode try if your Mac does not commissioning - Apple Support

Then, restart your Mac as usual and try to download the Windows support software again.

    Hello

Last week, I tried to install Windows on my MacBook Pro 10 (model: MacBookPro11, 5) using BootCamp6 and everything worked fine (it was a test).

I uninstall and try to install it again (for a show), but I'm stuck with the problem of network error ("cannot download the software due to a network problem). I tried to use my iPhone as a modem, a network cable, nothing works.

I also tried to download the package with Brigardier (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier), the software can be downloaded successfully.

    Hello
First of all, you need administrator rights to install the drivers on the system level. Download drivers from the network device switch and lan of http://www.toshiba-tro.de under driver downloads. Also in your tools & utilities cd, check the correct installation of the drivers for your computer order

    Hello John

As you know all configurations can be specific and depend on the used material. Believe me on this path it is not easy to say something concrete, because the BT home hub white is unknown to me and can I just suggest that you carefully read the user manuals which must be detailed explain how to connect external devices to the hub.

By the way: you have something like this http://digital-lifestyles.info/display_page.asp?section=distribution&id=3404?
