• After having upgraded to Firefox 24 it now won't start at all after clicking on the icon. My OS is Windows Vista premium. It will start in safe mode.

  Upgrade to Firefox 24 and now nothing works at all despite uninstall it and reinstall several times and lose all my favorites etc. However, it does not start in safe mode. At first, I thought it was my Norton 360 Security, but after 2 hours in contact with them, I'm still in the same position.   I went through and used the cleaning tool from Adobe to remove Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat and then installed a new to Acrobat, but I still get the error.

  If you have any other Adobe products installed (like Photoshop and InDesign) then please try following steps:

  Delete all the files in the following folders:

  C:\PrgroamData\Adobe\SLStore

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

  And delete all the files in the folder following except cache.db

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\ Adobe PCD

  Product launch and activate again.

• Printer HP photosmart stopped scanning and desktop icon does not connect either

  I have recently switched to optical fiber for broadband connection.  I reset my printer to the new IP address and the fact that it is connected.  However I'm unable to scan.  I followed the procedures to help so I tried unplugging my firewall (not quite sure how but I disabled my security temporarily) but he has not yet worked.  I also tried double-clicking the desktop icon that is unresponsive.  Help!

  My next suggestion would be to uninstall the printer, restart the computer and reinstall.
