Friends cannot connect to my show

After a few years away from running an online radio station using the encoder windows media and windows media player for listening, I decided to launch another station using the todays Windows media Encoder 9 with Windows seven and I could not for others to access my streams through windows media player. Why is this? I have the router Wireless N 150 of NetGear and Norton Internet Security on my PC. One of them would be the problem? Wasn't using tell them 6 years ago

Hello

1. What is the exact error message when users try to access the broadcast?

2. users are running the same operating system? If not, what operating system you're they use?

3. anyone who has been able to access broadcasting successfully?

Check out the links and check if that helps:

  • Cannot connect to the game using Microsoft account, password is incorrect, or account does not exist.

I just installed Dirt 3 on my new computer, when you are prompted to log in to my Live account. I put in my info, then the code of the key to the game. She then returned and say my account does not exist or my password is incorrect. After trying twice more I came here.  It is the same account and password that I use here.

    I'll start from the beginning.

Some time ago a friend bought a game for me (Dark Souls prepare to Die Edition) by Toys R us as a gift. I needed to connect with GFWL to save progress. I did, using my XBOX Live account. I played 40 hrs of this game, my PC is dead. It was during the summer 2014.

Fast forward to now, I reactivated my Windows Live account and tried to install the game in my new computer. After that I set my account sign in problems (had to change my password three times until he acknowledged) the error message I now get it that the product key is registered to a different Windows Live account.

There is no other windows Live ID someone else has access to my account STEAM or WINDOWS ACCT. To my knowledge none have been hacked. I was put through three individuals when I called them. Account, a kind of guys then sale of troubleshooting. After that wanted to sale onto me accounts that I hung up. No one knew that STEAM has been and has not yet recognize that GFWL is actually managed by Xbox apparently (have concluded that myself). I know GFWL is now active, BUT I'm always supposed to be able to access my game.

More than likely your MBP has a hardware problem that cannot be properly addressed at an Apple store genius bar.

You can try to reinstall an OSX, but I doubt if that will be successful.

  • Satellite A505 - sees, but cannot connect to, Wireless Router Win7

I have a laptop Toshiba A505-S6980 running the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

It worked fine a few months previously, to connect wireless to my O2 2 wireless router (the notebook has a REALTEK RTL8191SE wireless card).

I also have a desktop running XP computer that I use to connect to the same router. While on the desktop, I noticed several weeks ago that the router has been implemented with no WPA and WEP security, so I decided to change the router to WPA. The desktop PC was fine with this, but the laptop complained and wouldn't connect, failure of authentication and just stating "unable to connect to xxxxx". At the time I assumed it just couldn't handle the WPA authentication for some reason any and decided that I would probably turn to WEP to a later date to make it work again. At some point, I remove a ' O2 Connection Manager ", which had been installed when I bought a 3G dongle O2, where he has confused the issue, but it made no difference. In the meantime, I tried to connect the laptop using a wired connection and worked well.

I now (a few weeks later) decided that I wanted to use the wireless laptop then redefine the router to WEP expect this to work, but it didn't. As with WPA, he did not get past authentication when I put the key to security in. So, I try to understand the problem...

    What happens;

    (1) the wireless laptop sees my router (and neighbors), but just cannot connect.

    (2) I can connect with a laptop computer on the same USB wireless adapter.

    (3) I can connect the laptop to the router using a wired connection, and there is no problem.

    (4) my desktop running XP computer can connect to the router as WEP or WPA Wireless if the router is ok.

    (5) this worked several weeks ago!

    What I've tried;

    (1) I have installed the latest REALTEK RTK8191SE driver.

    (2) I tried to disable the security on the router, no joy.

    (3) I deleted all the profiles of network on the laptop.

    (4) I have tried with Norton antivirus and firewall disabled (but have not uninstalled) but no help.

    (5) I tried to do a restore of the system to the closest possible point and no help.

    (5) I uninstalled the wireless network adapter and its driver in Device Manager... Windows 7 can see the of it after a reboot and re - installed (using the old default driver), but it does not work. Then, I re-installed the latest version from REALTEK to ensure that it is up-to-date.

    What's weird is that

    (1) it works ok using the wireless USB adapter

    (2) the integrated REALTEK wireless adapter works to a point such that it can SEE my router, connect simply do not

    (3) authentication failure almost instantly

My suspicions are that an automatic update of Windows 7 or the O2 Connection Manager has somehow screwed it upward. I have uninstalled the O2 connection manager and tried to uninstall the automatic updates but there are many of them and I don't know how far back, I need to go. Also, because it authentication immediately, it seems that it is not giving him a chance to actually work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can proceed or had a similar problem?

This is a really silly situation. In any case, I recommend you to use the Toshiba WLAN drivers only.
I put t know what Realtek module is inside but try please install driver WLAN http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads

All that you have done is logic and I think I will try the same thing.
Have you tried to connect to WEP or WPA is disabled? I mean free WLAN without protection.
Have you tried to connect your laptop to a friend's router?

I really put t know what is the problem here but there are a few bad setting it.

  • Satellite C660-1CZ cannot connect to my wireless router

    Hello comrades,.

I have a problem to connect to my wireless router.
We have 3 notebooks here at home, and all are able to connect.
But my Toshiba laptop cannot connect. I don't know why...
The latest drivers are installed for RTL8188CE.
I'm sure it's the latest driver from 2011.

    My operating system is Windows7.
I bought yesterday and tried everthing to connect with my easybox 802.
I also changed some settings on the router.
    Can someone help me pls?

On other laptops, the SSID of the router's Easybox-D77327, but my Toshiba shows just Easybox-D57327.
Its not the same SSID but the router is good.
In my view, the problem is that my laptop shows me a bad SSID of the router, but how to solve the problem...?

You have the same problem when using the AC power mode and battery as well?
Can you connect to the router if WLAN is not secure?

An error message occurs when you try to connect to your router?

  • V1.0.5.64 official F/W 2.4 Ghz cannot connect, rejects P / w.

Just noticed this. Works fine since I installed it during the last Beta (. 62) and reset and Home settings.

Last night a friend came to an end and tried to connect to the 2 .4GHz SSID, rejected for bad P / w.

[IP DHCP: (192.168.1.6)] at MAC address 54:4E:902:F1: CC, on Friday, may 27,2016 20:31:53
[WLAN access denied: incorrect security] Mac 54:4E:902:F1: CC, on Friday, may 27,2016 20:30:50

Correctly plugged right after the band 5 GHz...

Check this morning, NO devices on the 2.4 Ghz band? Seals devices see the NONE on 2.4 Ghz:

    Access control is too weird:

Kind of shows alone is on the 5 GHz band? No indication as to my friends iPhone connected, but maybe I should have AC, I forgot?

Don't have time to test now, but goes further and report. Will force and iPad 2.4 Ghz and see what happens?

OK, it seems to work FINE now? Now that I think back to this topic last night I verbally gave the password and said it was untrue. I got the iPhone and he entered myself with the same result? Then, I connect to the 5 GHz band. I wonder why the newspaper showed NO 2 breaks down, only?

Anyway I have just my iPad has left the 5 GHz for the 2.4 Ghz band and connected with the stored password. So I "fogot" as the network and it turn on automatically to the band of 5 GHz (correctly). I then MANUAL chose 2.4 Ghz SSID and enter the password and it connected? I don't know what happened last night.

The devices attached now (compared to front above) is correct:

The ACCESS CONTROL list (it is NOT enabled) however still shows the SSID on the Wireless for the first unit, not all wireless devices? Does?

I was wondering, but for now, it seems to work correctly? I did NOTHING to the router, it left as it was last night. Only connected this PC and iPad to router using engineering via a browser on each. iPad engineering is of course open and when I returned to the PC correctly stated only was able to connect, I wanted to connect and drop the other user I did.

  • Windows 7 cannot connect to World Of Warcraft

Hi there, my friend recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 running on this topic from Dell. The new OS is nice and smooth, but something with this set-up allow him to connect to WoW, when you sign in. He has been able to download patches and updates, but just cannot connect. When he puts in his password, he tries to connect for about one second and starts an error he is incapable. With that it is fast I think it's something to do with its firewall. After disabling the windows firewall and disable the antivirus, we still have the problem. No it's not the router because I have my laptop connected to the server just WoW beside him on the same connection exactly to the same router. I've seen others have this kind of problem, but there is never really no answer. Help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    FreakPeach,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers Forum.  Well I must say that I am under WoW on Windows 7 without any problem.  Since everything seems to work fine, I can only think of a few things for you to try now.

First make sure that your friend connects with his account Battle.net and not the old name of WoW.  Have him connect you on your PC just to be sure nothing upward with his log in.

Then (and I know that you said that is not the router) check the configuration of the router.  Just make sure that your PC is not in the demilitarized zone, or is it not any port forwarding setup just for your connection.  Just check the WoW server settings are global.

If the router is good then you may want to Clean Boot the PC and see if that helps.  Maybe another program is in the way.

If these things check all out them and you can't always get connected I would try the Support of WoW because they have better information on this matter.

I hope that your friend will be Arthas and running and fragging with a mohawk in a very near future grenade!  :)  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

    Hi mycasmas,

    1. don't you make changes before the show?
    2. the problem persists with other users accounts?

Step 1: We recommend that you check if the problem persists in safe mode
    a. see Description of the Mode of course in Windows XP startup options
    b. in the menu advanced startup options select Safe mode and press on enter.
    c. connect to your user account.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode, check if a non-Microsoft program is causing the problem
see How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State .
    b. in the article, follow the method 1 and method 2 to find out if any program is causing the problem.
    c. Once you have found the culprit that is the program that is causing the problem, then uninstall it.

Note: Article, remember to follow 'steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state. "

  • How to activate Windows XP after the installation of repair when you cannot connect to Normal startup.

I got XP Home SP2 OEM installed on an AMD machine and the power supply is dead.
I have a P4, I prefer to use in any case, I moved the hard drives of the AMD machine to machine P4.  Of course, XP wouldn't boot.
Without saving anything, I performed a repair installation (under the installer, not Recovery Console).
Everything seemed ok, but eventually, I restarted XP and a message box informed me that I could not connect until I had activated XP.
Unfortunately, I can not run the Activation Assistant because I can not connect.

I found that I could start the computer Safe Mode / command prompt and could then start Windows Explorer from the command line.
I followed some advice I found online: I extracted wpa.dbl drive OEM installation and copied in the folder Windows\System32 and rebooted.  Nothing apparently changed; "" I still couldn't log mode "normal".
I restarted mode safe mode / command prompt, began to Windows Explorer and installed XP SP3.

Now I can connect mode safe mode without network but cannot connect with networking.  Normal mode is not yet available.

When I try to start 'normally', the saying that I need to activate before I can connect message.  If I say 'Yes' to 'Activate now?', the background of the desktop appears (my own shows JPG) - but that's all.  The mouse cursor is there, but I have found no way to access all the features after it.

I need suggestions for possible patches that will avoid the need to reinstall completely.

Here is the response of Fracture, it worked for me:
