gradient re-applied when recording in PNG

I applied a background gradient to an image and then cropped it to a small area within this image so that neither extreme of the gradient is visible in a small area. When I save the image as a PNG gradient seems to be re-applied so that both of its ends appear within the small area. How can I fix it so that the portion of the gradient listed within the small area, it is what is applied when you save the file in PNG?

I guess it makes sense that the gradient is be reapplied after harvest, since the gradient applies to the whole layer.

    Hi Monika,

I just stumbled upon the answer!

It's because I used a mixture of pantone and RGB colors to create the gradient.

When I changed them all to pantone or RGB, it has exported to PDF perfectly.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to help.

  • Piercing group option not applied when recording in pdf format

    Hello!

Worked on a logo that has suddenly brush realistic research - meaning vectorize the characteristics of the project of hundreds of differently shaded layers. The logo features a layer of flower shape to be cut in the logo.
The matter shortly: Is it possible to cut out the outline of the shape on a group that features 'say cent' layers of different colors (30)

I tried (without a desired outcome):

-Pathfinder - less before (with click) works only with this group
-Pathfinder - less before (alt/option + click) making it a compound path - does not because it turns the whole group in one color
-Option group piercing under opacity settings, who worked first - but save the file as a pdf, the knockout group option does not work. She is either disabled or forms of flower as group piercing are white.

    I'm using Adobe Illustrator CC

    Screen Shot 2014-12-12 at 12.27.49 PM.png

    Thank you!

The purpose of "mask" is not in the area of tile "Opacity mask" in your first image. Make sure you the flower above the layer objects, all select and choose "Make opacity mask" in the Panel flyout transparent menu. This will be above a mask. You can then turn OFF "clip" in order to see the outside part of the mask.

    Should look like this:

You can have more than one article on the mask opacity and different values. Color is ignored.

Please note: WHEN you first create an opacity mask will only recognize the subject of top-level (or compound shape). Later, you can edit and create objects on the mask at will, just like in normal mode. By default, only the mask 'effect' is visible. To display ONLY the mask OPTION + click on the thumbnail of the mask.

  • Creep does not apply when saving print brochure

I guess the amount of creep does not apply when recording to print brochure file?

I tried to print output booklet using a fluage.5 thumb (just to exaggerate what is happening) and when converting to PDF was not different from that of a file with 0 creep. Is there something that I am missing?

Simply, it worked for me, but I'm shocked by the result.

The deeper spread would be most Pebble - reduced ID my margin outdoor outermost spread, thus effectively passing living elements in the filling.

A trial later allowed me to enter a negative value of creep; the margin inner tartinades.5 rose to prune. OK, your printer configuration do not match what I used.

Edit, I printed out in pdf format, I see you mentioned ps, will check it.

Worked to save in ps then distillation; I put a marge.5 with-. 25 creep

  • Microphone does not work well when recording video to work

For the last few months, my phone has this kind of problem whenever I wanted to record a video. The audio in the recorded video may not be heard clearly, even with the highest volume. There sounds caring as wind noise even though I'm far from any source of wind such as fan, or when recording. At first I thought it was problems with the listener; probably I had disconnected the wrong way. But after trying a few times, the result is always the same. When I tried to record audio using voice memos, the audio is properly can be heard. This problem only occurs when you record a video. Please help me.

    Hi afiqahroshidi,

    Please visit Apple support communities.

It seems that your iPhone does not record clear audio as well as your videos. It seems that you have identified that the background microphone (used to record voice memos) works, according to get help with microphones on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Then, try the following steps, coming from the link above.

If audio video recordings of soft sounds, or Siri can't hear you, ensure that the microphone near the iSight camera - corner of your iPhone on top, bottom, the receiver is not blocked or covered.

If the microphone and the receiver are not blocked:

If you still have questions after you test the microphone on your device, try the following steps:

    1. Unplug any accessory plugged into the headphone jack.
    2. Avoid blocking the mic microphone and iSight with your fingers while holding the device or video recording.
    3. Remove the protection of screen, movies or cases that cover the microphone, microphone iSight or iPhone receiver.
    4. Clear all debris from the microphones or receiver iPhone. Refer to the manual of your device on the locations of the microphone.
    5. Restart your device.
    6. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.

If you have tried these steps and people still can't hear you on the phone or FaceTime calls or Siri does not hear your requests, contact Apple technical support.

  • NO sound when recording Audio - problems with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I got in trouble for almost a year now with NO sound when recording Audio with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I just found this forum today. It's really weird how recording with windows and other sound recorder works perfectly since 1998 or so until the upgrade to win 7. Now every time I try to record it shows no found recording device or just fails to record any sound. As you'll see below I have activated What U Hear so I can use the system recording features sounds.

I use the functions of audio recording and pdf reader because I'm legally blind. It is one of the few tools that I could use with ease on all my systems windows for many years.

A similar question has started happening with nvidia graphics cards. AND... I was led to believe that it was a problem with Sony wanting more strong piracy measures built into windows. Am I correct to assume that this is what is happening with the sound also today or is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

I run a dxdiag & posted that, according to me, you asked another user on the forum, the same or similar problem.

Help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this has been a problem for quite a while now.

  • noise problem Windows movie maker 2.6 when recording in dv - avi format

I installed the filmmaker windows 2.6 on windows 7 Home premium. Everything works fine. When I try to record the final film in DV - AVI format, I get 5-7 seconds of noise very high height introduced where ever there is a change of clip. IE if I have 10 different clips in my film, I get this noise at 10 different locations in my last recorded movie. These are the places where begins a new clip. There is no such noise present when I play the project in movie maker is not present in the original source file (which is an avi file).

Interestingly, when I save the movie in any format as DV - AVI, (IE high video quality, local playback or any wmv file) there is no such noise introduced in the final movie. I used the same clips to make the final movie in windows xp using movie maker 2.1 and there was no question also in the recorded final DV - AVI movie.

So the problem seems to be only on movie maker 2.6 on windows 7, when recording in DV - AVI format (all other formats of work correctly). Clips of same worked well on movie maker 2.1 on windows XP, when recording in DV - AVI format.

I suspect that the video filters (in tools-> options) could be the reason. I checked and all active video filters are those in C/windows/SYSWOW64 directory, so there is no non-microsoft video filter.

Pls help as windows live movie maker (installed on windows 7) all blocks left and right and is basically useless because it can't record any movie to the end. Director of Windows 2.1 was the best choice, but it cannot be installed on windows 7. I can download the video to show what kind of flicker noise is there at the beginning of each clip. It is a volume high, shrill noise as if two things are rubbing against each other.

  • Set the amplitude of mike when recording directly in hearing CC?

I can't figure out how to set the amplitude of mike when recording directly in hearing CC.

When I load hearing I have click on the waveform and create a file.

I can then click on the Red record button and start recording, but the amplitude is very small.

I know I can fix it in post editing but how to adjust the amplitude record raw?

Well, I looked at the manual. If I try to use a microphone with this mobo, I'd be very inclined to mount the system audio front panel, as it seems to have an understanding of slightly different mic that work peut better (although I think that you must run the configuration utility to configure). The details of this are on page 30 of the manual. For starters, it seems that he might in fact be two mic channels, which probably means that they took little seriously, a little more than usual.

I still think that the preamp is better, but I won't get it a chance to consider the issue until tomorrow.

  • Not intentional develop Preset applied when importing - Lightroom CC (2015)

This week (April 25, 2015), I upgraded to LRCC (2015) 8.1 for Windows and Mac OSX Yosemite and today I imported 400 + RAW images, felled at a concert of music from last night in my Windows box. I do not use import Presets, preferring to the hand-to indicate the my options at the time of importation.

Today, I chose my usual Preset to develop... 'Profile goal, by default, that does what it says on the Tin - apply the default lens profile import. There nothing else... or so I thought.

After that importation, I noticed that images looked a bit "weird" and I checked the story... the default lens profile has shown in history (except an entry "Of Metadata" that I had not seen before, but suppose a reference using the keywords applied when importing). The 'strangeness' was in fact caused by one another develop preset called "Cave in rock" (a custom preset, I designed myself) and, if by chance or not, was be the first Preset in my list. Checking the settings to develop on the right panels, confirmed all the 400 + images had been imported with the cave in the rock applied.

I checked the history of a random selection of 12 images; all showed the parameters of development, such as applied, but none showed the name preset in the history panel. My custom "cave in rock" this DOES have the preset 'Goal profile, default' included in it, but maybe it's a coincidence.

I import RAW of Canon CR2 to a 5 d Mk III files, convert to DNG and build 1:1 previews. Adobe has changed the import process in LRCC.

I returned to import LR5.7 to try it, but it does the same thing now, which he has not really done it before! The Presets have been improved as part of the transition to the DRES?

    Everyone knows about this phenomenon?

the metadata entry I think that means that he support parameters of a metadata xmp file that is next to your raw files. There are everything in the folder you are importing from? If you shot raw + JPEG, the instructions may be in the JPEG file.

In any case it is easy to fix. Just select them in the library grid view and press reset. Reapply the correction of lens preset and sync.

IT is possible that you inadvertently set a default value for the camera.  You can try to reset those preferences-> presets if reset the images don't come back to where it should.

  • "Movie recording disabled" failure Message When recording HD on HDR-SR12

We have owned a Sony Handycam HDR SR-12 for many years and have had great success. Recently, when recording of sporting event of the child, suddenly received the message, HD Movie recording disabled". On the touch screen of Handycam, indicated that there is no space left on the hard disk, that is, 0 minutes. I was surprised, but deleted some old HD videos off the hard drive and continued. The touchscreen has indicated that about 120 minutes, the space was now left on the hard disk of 120 GB. I fillmed minutes more HD video and watched the minutes of the thin runoff from 120 to 119 to 118... then all of a sudden, the minutes of the end instantly went to 0, and I got the message 'HD Movie recording Diaabled' again.

Again I deleted some old videos and exactly the same cycle repeated itself.

I hooked my camcorder to my computer to see how much space was left on the hard disk of 120 GB. It shows that 34 GB are free 111 GB.

Do not know what is happening.  I contacted the Sony chat that had me to do two things.

    1. press the reset button.

    2. turn off the camcorder, remove the battery for a minute, then reinsert and power back up.

No procedure had no effect.  The agent suggested that, somehow, we have changed the operating system on the video camera software.  It is impossible because we have never done anything other than video to your device using PMB or PMH. Before signing off the coast, we have been sent a repair link that cited a lump sum of $300 + for a person to look at the camcorder. Which doesn't make sense.

Does anyone have an idea what is happening. We love this camera.  We would be very grateful for any ideas on how to solve this problem and to recover and record.

    Thank you very much!

    Rachedie,

    • Set the recording mode (REC MODE) in the camcorder HD AVC 5 M (LP) and check. See page # 68 of the Manual to set the REC MODE.
    • Transfer the recorded movies or pictures from the camcorder to a computer.
